We built our own but were amazed to see a chicken parm sandwich as we love chicken parm. The bread was nice and fresh and the even cut the cucumbers fresh there right in front of you. This tiny sub shop while basic from the outside is big on flavor and great on the inside. Great food, reasonable prices and ready when they say. I have twice had large orders for CU gameday and the order was ready as promised with a smile. Everyone raves about how delish and fresh they are. One large sandwich cut in 3 pieces works perfectly for handheld tailgate food. They provide all the extras and dressing on the side neatly wrapped. Support these local shops. read more

We all know the bread to meat ratio is one of the key sub qualities that set it apart and make or break the experience. At Zodiac, the bread is big and the meat is slim, oof. I just watched my 12" The Show Off get made with two slices of ham and turkey on the entire 12" sub, then like 4 slices of salami. This basically boils down to the turkey and ham didn't even cover the bread. They also use yellow American cut into triangles, which in my book of growing up with delicatessens is frowned upon. Maybe some salt and pepper would help because there was no flavor in the oil and vinegar they use. I'd say the best part about Zodiac Subs is the shredded lettuce, reminiscent of east coast heroes. Zodiac is a better choice than the franchise shop it took the place of, but definitely not a high quality best sub of your life. Trust me. Boulder knows better subs. read more

Zodiac popped up on my radar a few months ago and I have to say everything I have gotten is phenomenal. I really enjoy their daily specials as it gives me a reason to try something new. Today I got the chipotle chicken sandwich and it was absolutely my favorite thus far. The bread is super good and the pops of flavor in this sandwich was so good. I subbed out for the zodiac Mayo and the mozzarella cheese which brought the spice to a good level. They do curbside pickup and delivery as well and are always prompt when I pick up. The sub I got was pretty on-point. I got the Risk Taker which was just a Turkey sub more or less. It's a classic American style sandwich shop. Not a lot of space inside but there is a patio to sit at if the weather is nice. Will definitely be back to try another menu item. read more

She said that the Italian sub at zodiac subs is literally the best sandwich she's ever eaten in her entire life.
