Broke down and went out for breakfast this morning. This place has been located at several locations in town and has continued to thrive. I did enjoy my vegetable omelette. Chock full of veggies. The hash browns were a tad underdone but I personally like them very crisp so not a big issue. Service was very attentive. Unfortunately, the decor is showing a lot of wear and tear. The booth seating is looking very rough. That's really the only negative I can say. However, it will leave an impression so I hope they can upgrade soon read more

The breakfast and coffee at Zoe is AMAZING! We went twice, pretty early in the morning, and it wasn't too busy either time. The service was kind and funny, and everything came out fast! The waitress was so nice, especially when I asked how they put the Coug logo on the coffees! Their drip coffee is the best i've had in a while, and their espresso drinks are just as good! The pancakes here are HUGE, and taste perfect. Their omelettes are so well done, not overcooked to heck like a lot of breakfast places make them. Also, the toast comes with really tasty homemade jam (that I stole from my mom's plate and used in my pancakes...) We placed an order to go after our meal and it came out quick and my boyfriend loved it. Seriously, the breakfast here is probably my favorite in Pullman! read more

We went to Zoe Coffee and Kitchen for a late lunch on 8-14-24 at 3:00. Our waitress, Kylie, was very personable, but the manager should have told her what was and was not available. The very messy beverage chalk board had 13 different beers and ciders on it. My wife ask for an IPA and I ask for a VooDoo Ranger. Kylie came back and said there was a problem with the kegs and that there were only 3 beers available and some cider. I declined any of the beers offered, but my wife ordered a Huckleberry cider. Once again Kylie retuned to say that ALL of the beverage system was down, but offered us options for mixed drinks. We declined and had water. Then she took our order. I ordered the beef brisket sandwich and my wife ordered a chicken sandwich. Yet again Kylie came out and said that they were out of beef brisket and ask if pulled pork would suffice. By this time I just wanted to eat and get out. I feel that the manager should have made sure of what was not available and verified that the help knew. Also, they should have cleaned the beverage board and notified patrons as they came in. There were two more groups of people that came in after us and ordered beer of the available menu, only to be told that the system was down, after picking a beer. Service was good. Pretty attentive and manager/owner even stopped by to say hi. I really wanted to enjoy my food but there was no meat in it. I ordered the Greek Gyro and it literally had two small strips of meat in it. 90% mixed greens with practically no meat. The owner manager should increase the meat in this dish. For something that is almost $10 it should have had more meat in it. We also had the rubenistic something sandwich. Bread was toasted which gave it a unpleasant crunch factor with too much sour kraut and not enough meat. The ingredient ratio was off. They should have butter grilled the bread to make it balanced. Too dry due to toast on the marble bread. Sour kraut amount made the sandwich too acidic. Probably won't be returning. It was conveniently located across from WSU. read more

This place has OUTSTANDING food. The atmosphere is great, and during non-covid times it has been a nice place to go when I travel into Pullman from out of town. This three stars is for my visit yesterday. I called in an order for six meals (9:11am). The person taking my order had a few moments where she was confused or asked for help from someone to record our order. But she was pleasant and I didn't think much of it. She told me that they "weren't that busy yet, should be about 15 min". That was surprising to me, and I was excited that the time would be so quick. As I needed to drive home to the west side that day and earlier breakfast would help in that. I came over and arrived about 15 min later. When I arrived I was told that it would be about 15 minutes more. This food is good, my brother and sister in law, who live in town LOVE this place. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I sat inside waiting for my food till about 10:05 when I got up and asked the server again the status of my food. She seemed confused as had to go to the back a couple of times after she asked then confirmed my name, and I had to tell her a few of the items I had ordered. When she came back she told me that they were currently working on my food. At 10:15 I was seriously considering leaving. She finally called for me about 10:20 to pay and they were bringing the last bit of my order out. She did apologize for the long wait. Which despite my hanger and frustration I did my best to not be mean to her. It is the first time in a long time I did not leave a tip, which I hope was seen as a commentary of their service, and not me being an asshole. The food... we had two Mediterranean omelets which were described to have pesto sauce in them. There was no pesto sauce. My brother and wife felt they got the wrong omelets. My sons chocolate pancakes did not have chocolate, they also forgot his chocolate milk that came with the kids breakfast. Ok. The good things: again... the food here is legit good. My biscuits and gravy was perfect. My older son's pancakes were HUGE and very good (he did turn his nose at the mushy strawberries that came with it, but said they were good when he tried them). Despite the omelets not seeming quite right fort what they ordered, my wife and brother liked what they got. I write this on here, instead of directly to the manager, because I want them to do better in their service. Reading the reviews, I'm not the only one that has been treated this way at this restaurant. Even my brother admitted that a "half hour" delivery turned into an hour and a half one time. Yesterday probably won't be my last time visiting this place when I'm in town, but it definitely will make me more wary of choosing it. The host told us the wait for 2 would be 30 minutes. We waited for over 40. Food took around 20 minutes. Bf ordered eggs benedict which he said was alright. I ordered a hot cocoa and the Mac and cheese which were both also mediocre. Mac and cheese didn't have a very good depth of flavor and the hot cocoa (which I've heard so much about) was quite watery and one-note. The side of fries that came with my meal was the only thing that stood out to me--they were perfectly cooked. I understand that it's a busy football weekend so there is bound to be a wait time but I don't understand why there were so many empty seats/tables that weren't being used. The couple waiting in line next to us noticed that and were complaining about it too. My bf thought that maybe it's to accommodate the cook's needs (how much he can cook in a certain amount of time) but to me, you should either hire more cooks or not create so much empty seating in the first place (ex: use extra space for a live music area or something). Waiting in line for nearly an hour is one thing but seeing so many empty seats/tables without any explanation while doing so is another. There was only one menu for people waiting in line to look over. There seemed to be tv monitors built in to the booths in front of the waiting benches for people waiting to watch things on but they were turned off. Also, a couple walked in while we were waiting and asked to sit at the bar. The host asked if they were 21 and they said yes and were immediately seated. My boyfriend and I are both over 21 and were not offered to sit at the empty bar seats. This was quite disappointing too. read more

If ever in Pullman this is one of the best restaurants to go to for breakfast. Get there early as there will definitely be a wait to get a table. Their coffee is some of the best that I've ever had. They have a full menu of items and you will have a hard time trying to decide on what to have as everything sounds and looks great. Right down to the mango mimosa and bloody mary. It can get pretty loud as the Restraunt is not very big and it's pretty open so voices carry. The parking lot is pretty small as well so patience is a virtue. I came back to visit Pullman after being gone for 8 years after graduating from WSU. I loved this place as a student and it has maintained their quality. We got the pulled pork sandwich with fries and coleslaw. It was very good! The pulled pork had a great Smokey flavor and the bbq sauce was delightful! They have updated the interior from when they took over Tam's place. I see many of my old Tam's Place favorites on the menu as well. Service was good and timely. Easy to order for pick up online. had the streak with hash browns and toast and biscuits and gravy. Hash browns were delicious, streak was good, the biscuits were a little hard, but oh oh oh, perfectly solid for dipping in the gravy. Let's talk gravy: they didn't skimp, and I ate it all! Peppery, sausage, and the consistency was perfect. The coffee was good but I asked for room and didn't want any milk and there was milk, but I guess who asks for room when the want black coffee? A fairly average place, but nothing bad to say about it. Went before a game for some BBQ and beers. Food was good, but then again, everyone and their dog can smoke meat these days. The plus was it was close to the stadium so we could walk up to the game. But confused why it was almost completely empty just before a game. Do these students just not pre-game at WSU? UPDATE: Sept 2018 What a difference! I've now been here a few times for breakfast and it's been outstanding! The restaurant has been remodeled again and is MUCH more comfortable! The food is better, the service is better, the coffee is better, everything is better!! Well this picture doesn't do it justice the breakfast was incredible and they give you a homemade jam. Everything was cooked perfectly and is very good!! I have had the dice them and eggs, German sausage, bacon and eggs, at different times now and it's been very good recently. And the staff that work there are really cool. I think this is definitely worth going!! They even have prime rib on Friday and Saturday nights, cocktails, beer, lots of good stuff. Alright so this spot will attract a variety of audiences as it has a bar with 12 beers on tap and they do brunch specialty drinks like mimosas and bloody marys. As well as a coffee corner for any kind of coffee your heart desires. I like to be adventures and try their seasonal flavors, but my go to coffee beverage is a caramel latte with almond milk. If you get it for here then you'll be dazzled with coffee art. They have some good coffee! They also serve breakfast and lunch. I used to hit Zoe's up when I was a student and they were still on campus under the K House. Their sandwiches are bomb! My go to is their Cajun sandwiches that fries of course. Now I typically find myself in their new location eating breakfast or brunch. I typically order the corned beef hash with over easy eggs. The food is good but nothing too special. What really makes this place great is the customer service and friendly staff. This spot is good for small groups but nothing bigger than 8, anything larger and your wait is too long. If you like a little bit more food, I would ask for more eggs because they just give you one. Coffee was decent.
