    Chicken Chicken-Fried Steak & Eggs

We were seated immediately. Although we were the first patients of the day, the waitress was warm and cheerful. She took our order with lots of changes from the menu with not a blink. I had read the bad reviews first so expected waiting forever for cold food. Not our experience. The coffee came out immediately followed by the food followed by the homemade malt made with fresh bananas. The only small downside was that the chicken fried steak was so thick that it was pretty chewy. The restaurant itself is so shiny. That shows the level of cleanliness. Bathrooms were clean also. We will be back next time we are in Moscow. Now we need to find the Co-Op everyone is talking about.

I absolutely loved JackJack's Diner. If someone were to give me a T-shirt that says I JackJack's Diner, I would wear it proudly. The ambiance inside is so nostalgic, and the food is amazing. It came out so hot and fresh. You also get huge portions. I had a lot of leftovers to bring home which made me happy. I will definitely be going back soon!

Meatloaf dinner; I scraped off the glaze & spread with mustard. Took more than half of it home.

Four of us took a day trip down to Moscow. After visiting one of favorite stops, the CO-OP, we were ready for some lunch. Decided to try JackJack's Diner. Great iced tea, fresh brewed & well done! Shrimp Basket & Triple Stack, both with sweet potato waffle fries were both decent. But the Meatloaf dinner was pretty darn tasty! Chose the turkey noodle soup, which was chocked full of thick noodles (like frozen Reames?) veggies & turkey in a perfectly seasoned light broth. Had it with mashed potatoes (homemade) covered in country gravy. The meatloaf was a glazed huge slab of moist goodness. Not a huge fan of the glaze, but that was good on the dinner roll. Corn also came with it but I can't eat corn, so, someone else had that. BUT, the shining star was the Stuffed French toast!!! Sweetened cream cheese & raspberry filling sandwiched between two fluffy pieces of lovely French toast. Oh man!!! Very rich but extremely heavenly!!! The young ladies waiting on tables were very friendly too. We all agreed we'd go back next time we're in the area!!!

The 2 stars were for a friendly greeting and quick seating.. Diners should be quick, yummy, and well priced. This was none of those. Order was taken quicky but time to table was 40! Minutes. Oreo Shake - yummy but charged $0.50 more than the menu said Brisket Burrito Special - $16.00 and mediocre French Dip - $19.00. Cheese and onions only on one half. Meet very extremely dry. Fries were fine. Pancack and Bacon- the chocolate chip pancake was huge but just far too sweet with chocolate drizzle on top. 3 slices of bacon for $5. Ok $55.00 for 3 people is a lot for a diner with not great food and a long wait time.

Biscuits and Gravy was cold, Other food was burnt. Waste of money and not a good place to eat.

    Chicken Chicken-Fried Steak & Eggs

First the place looks amazing! The food is as good as the outside looks. Best Chicken fried steak, home made, gravy was amazing. The steak and eggs well, outstanding. Steak is a rib eye cooked perfectly.

Ordered the "Steak and Eggs". When it arrived the steak was so tough but I just chalked it up to having to cut it with a butter knife that I was given, NOPE! That was not the case, when I had told her about this issue of the steak being tough the response that I got from the kitchen was "They don't marinate or tenderize their steaks". You probably should if you are going to be charging 30 dollars for a cut of chuck steak (which is one of the three tougher cuts of meat from a cow). As a cook I know my cuts of meat. After the discount off my meal, I ended up paying 23 dollars for eggs, toast, and hash browns. I of course did not eat that meat.

The food is absolutely delicious .It comes In Large portions and is very filling .My favorite item is the diner potatoes and chocolate milkshake I highly recommend. The servers are very friendly and are more then happy to help you out. Every inch of the restaurant is a throwback to the fifties from the menus to the bathroom. And I love the sparkly red and white seating . Overall it was a great dining experience and I think everyone would enjoy.

Never again after how I was treated by the staff recently. My food wasn't up to par let alone worth the price. Outrageously expensive.

Went to visit family at WSU and they took us here for dinner one night. It was a great meal! Save…read moreroom for dessert, but more about that later. Started with the baked brie appetizer, which was lovely. I ordered the pork chop, which was massive, cooked perfectly (medium as it's ok to have a little pink in porkchops now) and accompaniments were flavorful. Both ordered pastas and it looked so tempting and delicious. Service is friendly. We couldnt decide on dessert so ordered the ice cream cake and apple cake/pie dessert and split. The ice cream cake is one of the best I've had. Layer of mint chocolate chip and chocolate chip, surrounded by a chocolate cookie crumble and cookie sprinkles on top. SO, SO, SO Good. The apple dessert was equally delicious and gave off Xmas / Holiday vibes. They do have espresso, though it seemed like it's not used much as the person had to check if we could order decaf cappuccinos. Those were alright and in the future, I may go without coffee or a decaf black instead. No tipping, which is the first time I've been a restaurant with this policy. It was pleasantly surprising and nice (on the bank account!)

They apparently just passed the duck carcus over the dish, very little duck. Its portrays its self as a high end restaurant, The servers we dressed in jeans, our served wore a plaid flannel shirts untucked. When your spending high end dollars, you should at very least expect professionalism.

I am extremely disappointed in my recent experience here. I've been multiple times but this time…read morewas not great. We went on a Saturday evening around 7 pm so it was not busy with plenty of seats open. We were able to walk in and be seated quickly. I wanted to order a specific drink on their menu, but they said they were out of coconut milk. So I ended up not getting the drink. They have specials and I wanted to try a salad to start. It was a spinach salad with strawberries. Sounded good but when I received it, it was literally a pile of spinach with maybe 2 cut strawberries, 4 tiny almonds and like a tablespoon of goat cheese. What?! For $13 that's the salad you receive? Sorry but who in their right mind thinks that's okay. For the main course I decided to try their seafood special, the stuffed trout. Sounds delicious, but the waitress never told me it was a WHOLE trout. I don't mind whole fish but I wasn't expecting it because it was not advertised as whole or mentioned to be whole! It had so. Many. Bones. Which of course because it's whole but if I knew I would have gotten something else! The funny thing is, the table next to us ordered the same thing after and our waitress told him it was whole, asked if he wanted a sharp knife, etc. I was NEVER offered those things once. Not only... but it was very bland. I was so disappointed in the waitress not mentioning details and the dish itself. Especially for $39 I expected way more. Also, we ordered the grilled meatloaf. We have ordered this dish handfuls of times and it's been delicious with the mashed potatoes and carrots. But they changed the recipe completely! Why fix something not broken? The meatloaf has less flavor, it's not as crispy, it's a whole different shape too. The mashed potatoes aren't even mashed potatoes anymore, it's a potato puck of some sort. I don't understand why this recipe was changed. This was the one thing that kept us returning, that and the creme brûlée. The crème brûlée was still delicious as usual but honestly besides the dessert I would not get any of these dishes again. And with today's experience I'm not sure if I'd return.
