He is also a technician and may also possibly be the owner. That was the vibe I was receiving from our discussion. I explain what my visit was and he advised me there are different types of tune ups and what specifically I was looking to have done. I explained that I was able to obtain a quote from Honda service department and they also advised same thing. I listed the tune up details and what Honda quoted ($2,260). Oleks advised that inspection is free of charge. He would have Alex, technician do the inspection and provide his recommendation. Alex completed the inspection and advised what needed to be replaced and some replacement were not needed. He discovered there was an engine oil leak, transmission oil leak and the engine oil pan plug was stripped. Oleks had provided me with a quote range between $700-$1000. I returned back two days later on the evening of 1/14/26 to drop off vehicle which was parked safely inside the shop. The following day they replaced the engine gasket, replaced spark plugs, water pump, front crank seal, drive belt, oil pan plug and drive belt tensioner. I picked up my vehicle on 1/25/26. The sum of my bill came to $1021.80. I am truly satisfied and happy with the work that technician, Alex has completed. It was a reasonable timeframe and price. Honest work. I will use them again for any issues, repairs or maintenance.

We decided to take the car from the dealership and took it to Fredrickson Transmission, for a second opinion. They kindly fit us into their schedule, and within an hour they diagnosed the problem as a broken sensor, rather than a transmission that was out. The total cost was about $20! What a happy surprise! They are an honest, and reliable group of people who want their customers to be happy with the work, and they don't try to sell them on work or services that they don't need. When we brought it back for inspection, we explicitly authorized only diagnostics, not repairs. After being promised a new quote, the company proceeded with an $8,000 rebuild without my authorization. When we called to cancel the work, we were told it was already done. The transmission failed again less than 20 miles after we paid for and picked up the truck. The company then tried to enforce an unauthorized warranty clause that was not part of their standard policy. When we asked to find a middle ground, we were told they would happily remove all the parts and charge us for all the labor. This business performs unauthorized work, charges exorbitant prices, and provides service that fails almost immediately. I have now paid thousands of dollars for a vehicle that is not operational. I strongly advise you to take your business elsewhere.
