Took my trailer tire in to have the tire taken off the rim, so I could clean up the rim, went back today 6/8/18 to have the tire put back on. Carol the owner couldn't find my old tire she immediately told me "The tire must have been thrown away my mistake". S&S Tire paid for a brand new tire for my rim . This is alignment/ balance/rotation related. I have never had many issues with tires til last week. I have a 2011 BMW X5 just to be clear. I just needed a darn rotation/balance and my alignment checked. I had taken my car to discount where I purchased the tires but they would not do the rotation because the very outside of one tire was below 2/32 mm. Keep in mind that the rest of the tires were at 5/32 mm wear ( so half worn) but of course they recommended new tires. I am not interested in new tires yet!! Well since the wear was abnormal I went to get the alignment checked at McCabes and they stated it was frozen and would likely have to break my tie rod that was replaced 3 years prior. That sounded absurd so i found S & S tire and made an appointment. Much to my relief they used heat and grease and loosened up the tie rod so I could get the car aligned and only the front needed it. S& S was honest and it really eased my anxiety about the situation. I was so relieved I didn't even think to get the tires rotated there as i wasn't sure of the cost and figured since I was a costco member I would just head there in the next day or so for to get them balanced. Well, they too would not rotate the tires and lied that my tires were at 3/32 mm and they recommended new tires as well. I then called Jeff's tires on 6th ave an they quoted $140 for rotation and balance WTF!! I then realized there was only one place to go... back to S & S where they rotated 4 tires and balanced two of the four for only $40 and I then had to write this review. They are honest, know their stuff and I am thankful I found them. I had an extremely stressful week with my mom's health and the tire situation only made things worse! I just needed something simple that became so complicated because these larger companies just want to sell tires. Support your local small business is the main point of this post! All that running around makes me appreciate a business like S & S even more! Thank you guys you made my week!!!! read more

We had work done on our rear wheel brakes 1999 Chevy Express 3500 Box Truck back in 2018. Something didn't feel right with this place, my father and I decided to sit and observe. We waited for 2 hours then we were confronted by the owner. What were we doing? He's very busy. We're making him feel uncomfortable from us waiting on-site. Eventually one of his employees got to work on our box truck and it took him 1 hour to replace the brakes. Come time to settle the bill this "Bernie Madoff" mother fucker tried to charge us for 3 hours labor when it took an hour. Family owned tire company, owned by three brothers and their sister handles the front. She was very nice and friendly. Got a full set of new tires for my Rabbit. Offered us three different types; they were able to install them in a short amount of time. My tires also came with a rebate, and she was helpful in explaining how to fill it out and send it in. I also needed windshield wipers, but they didn't have them. She was nice enough to call down to another place and make sure they had them for my car. Greatly appreciated. read more

I came in because my tire was running low on air and I didn't want to go back to Seattle before a quick refill or replacement tire. I waited in my car for about 30 minutes per Covid measures. No one came out to see if I needed help. I'm like, ok, I'll go in. Inside no one was wearing masks, there was about 4 or 5 employees standing around laughing on their phones. My boyfriend got a flat tire last night (there was a screw in it) and we took the car to them this afternoon and they fixed it free of charge (and with an offer of free tire rotation every 1,000 miles.) Apparently they never charge for fixing flats, whether you bought tires there or not. We've been here less than 30 minutes and it's already done. Their tire prices are reasonable but the service was terrible. I was told they would work on my car in 15 minutes and I sat in the lobby for 45 minutes. When I asked if they forgot me I was told they couldn't see my car and assumed I left. Walked in there and got helped immediately. They had me pull my Malibu up and they got to lookin at my Passanager Rear tire Because it would lose lots of air very quickly. They found a nail in it and fixed it within 15 minutes and filled it with air. Than he check my other Driver Rear tire and found a nail in that one too which I didn't know had one! They asked me if I wanted them to fix it and I said yes. Than it took them another 15 minutes but I wasn't in a hurry. Total they charged me 10 dollars for both tires to get fixed. Came in for a front wheel alignment. I was able to get in and out with no hassle and for a decent price. There's a small waiting area equipped with coffee, TV, newspapers and magazines. My only issue was that my car was returned to me with the steering wheel way off track, with no explanation why. I expressed my concern to the technician and he gave me a labor cost to get my steering wheel back on track. My husbands work takes all of their work trucks through here and they are based out of Sumner! It is worth the travel for such excellent service! After getting angry and leaving another tire store, we pulled into S&S and they not only would perform the service (swapping tires and wheels to another vehicle) they got us in immediately The job was also $40 cheaper than the other "big name tire store" we originally got a quote from.. My review is solely based off of free tire repair. 5:25ish pm on a Thursday night (which happens to be my sunday) I called and ask if they have time to check a tire for me (they close at 6) guy tells me if I'm there within ten minutes they can check it. I pull up and one of the men there tell me I have a flat, I didn't even notice it because I was concerned about a different tire! By now its probably 5:35. Luckily they were able to fix it for me. I had a great experience last week with my auto repair service from S & S Tire. From the second I pulled in the parking lot until I drove off after my car repairs were completed. I must mention that their service was done quickly, efficiently and priced below 2 other service shops quotes!! So yes, as mentioned in a previous yelp, the lobby is not large, but the customer service I received was huge. That's what's important to me.
