Zombie Hut is a fun old school tiki bar. The menu has simple classic tiki drinks. We last came here on a Saturday night when everything else in the area was packed and expensive. Zombie Hut came to our rescue with seating for our group in the back next to a warm and cozy fireplace. Service was good- bar tenders were friendly and humorous. It was the perfect place to catch up with friends over a drink.

Great bartender. Made to order Bloody Mary was delish. Thank you! Also has a great backyard hangout space.

So there we were, stuck in the most insane garbage traffic because ALL roads going the way we needed to go were blocked off for the NYC marathon. NINETY MINUTES to go 3 miles and all I had to play on the stereo was Ariana Grande. We needed a drink, so we parked in the first spot we could find and walked into Zombie Hut. First order of business was to take a ridiculous piss, which went well. Second task was to get a Spicy Cucarita Marg and a Skinny Colada. Both were delicious. I'd like to shout out to the bartender who listened as I whined about our hideous ordeal, she was very nice and got us our dranks ASAP. Great experience overall, will come again. Also they have hot pockets, hell MF yea

The Zombie Hut is a great find in this neighborhood of Brooklyn and the drinks are fantastic! Normally, I wouldn't order a frozen drink because they never seem to do the job, and I get throat/brain freeze! However, the Frozen Zombie is absolutely legit!! Lots of rum with orange and pineapple juice, perfectly blended, made me impressed! The ambiance is really cool here as well! There is ample seating outside and it's like you're in a tiki hut!! When in the neighborhood, I know where I'll be going for another frozen drink!!

Amazing spot- go to the outdoor patio! Drinks are no-fuss, legit... if you are looking for a delicious frozen cocktail or just a good solid wheat or sour ale this is the place. We had the backyard almost to ourselves Just the way we'd preferred before the wafting smells of grilled meat from the adjoining restaurants told us it was time to go. If we'd come on a full belly, we'd sure have 2-3 more rounds. Pricey, private & relaxing. Definitely returning.

Zombie Hut has a super chill backyard and reasonably priced drinks. Sadly they were out of the signature Frozen Zombie, so I didn't get to try that, but the Bahama mama and Skinny colada were both tasty.

Ask the Community - Zombie Hut

Are mocktails available here, and if so, which ones?

This is 21 & up right?

    Yes.

    What time is happy hour?

Their Cocktails are reasonably priced, so there's no need for a Happy Hour. House Cocktails range from $7-$9. I had Margarita's (top shelf) only $11, not bad.

We should have just left and went somewhere else, but we were tired of riding around looking for good frozen drinks. The guy bartender was kind of rude and I think the lady bartender noticed so she was extremely nice, overcompensating. He was also coughing a lot, and blowing his nose. Like dude , you might want to cover your mouth and not touch people's straws. My friend got one of their specialty drinks and said it was okay. But not the best. I ordered one of my favorite drinks a pain killer and it was definitely not a painkiller. I'm not sure who taught them how to make it. But it was missing the most key ingredients that make it what it is the cream of coconut and pineapple juice. It was extremely acidic (splashes of low quality orange and pineapple juices) and made with poorly substituted rum (I was sure to ask was it the British navy rum listed on the menu). On top of all of this, the cute little cup of sadness was sixteen dollars! I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon though I thought the aesthetic was very cute.
