We were not reimbursed and the Broker we've been loyal to, Crusberg & Decker, handled the matter with terrible customer service. That's not the way to treat a customer, especially a loyal customer. What I did receive a week after my policy was cancelled, was a notice stating my policy is no longer effective as of 1 week prior and a $100 fee for nothing. Seriously? You cancelled my insurance in 2 weeks with not so much as a peep from you? I offered to pay the missed payment as well as the $100 charge for absolutely nothing, I was told there was no recourse or solution and that this would not suffice. I called this insurance branch after hours and left a VM with my name and number so I can just pay out my A... for a new insurance policy... Surprise, surprise no one called me back in an entire 8 hour work day. Not a single responsible party at this location. 17 years of Mercury Insurance as my go to company down the drain. What a worthless insurance broker the Mercury website paired me with.
