To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to document an unresolved vehicle damage claim involving Zoom Car Wash in Stockton, California. Over one year ago, my vehicle was damaged while going through Zoom Car Wash. The incident was reported immediately, and I was told Zoom would take responsibility for the repairs. I was directed to use a specific body shop selected by Zoom. The body shop later advised that the damage could be resolved by removing and repairing the hood, a repair that could be completed within one day. Despite this, I was told the repair could not move forward due to parts being on backorder. More than one full year later, my vehicle remains unrepaired. During this time, I have made multiple attempts to escalate the issue beyond local management. I have repeatedly requested contact with Zoom Car Wash's corporate office, but I have not been given access to anyone at the corporate level. I did speak with Mr. Sanchez, who identified himself as a manager, and explained that after such an extended delay I no longer wished to use the body shop Zoom required. Despite these efforts, the issue remains unresolved and I have still been unable to reach corporate decision-makers. Accidents can happen, but leaving a customer with unresolved vehicle damage for over a year -- while refusing access to corporate escalation -- demonstrates a serious lack of accountability and transparency. I am posting this publicly in hopes that someone from Zoom Car Wash's corporate office will finally reach out and resolve this matter. read more

I came here earlier today to get my car washed. After my car went through the wash, the employee sped fast into the drying area and hit the black stool with the right front side of my car (with the bumper, not the tire). It was reckless! I did not spend my money for them to hit things with my car. It does not matter how nice your car is, this is unacceptable. Just had my Ford Escape done here at the Hammer Lane location. Asking for a manager doesn't seem to help. Apparently they don't have them on site. Paid 233.99 and have 4 different locations of damage to my vehicle including one very obviously a track mark down the back - automated car wash? Still have general dirt all round the inside near the doors from tracked in dirt _ not heavy, not muddy, just dirt. Under the mats - mats specified as being cleaned on receipt - still lots of dirt. At the back of the cushion of the seats there is still the general dirt you get from sitting in a seat over and over again. Not even wiped. Easy to access portions of the seat wiped down with an armor all type cleaner but only on the main portions. For an hour+ wait for a 'detail' this doesn't even match up to most interior general washes. Damage to 3 different sections of the exterior of my vehicle makes it much less than worth it. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR VEHICLE. read more

I paid for a Mini Detail. With a 3rd row it came out to $249. It was definitely not worth it. I was there for 2 hours. Extremely disappointed with how they left my car. For 250 I could have called a movile detailer and they would have done it at my home. And they broke a little cover that goes around my rearview mirror. Honestly, so disappointed I've been coming to Zoom for years and I have to say the service has really gone down. Service with customer service service on getting clarification with services, services with the overall presentation of the car after the car wash I literally go only when I have the oil change so that way I get $20 off but I'll tell you right now not even that is enough for me to come back anymore. My car was still dirty not vacuumed enough for me to say I could've done a better job and they charged me an additional $15 for dressing in the dashboard. Do you even know what dressing is for the dashboard a solution that you can pay five bucks for a whole bottle and they're charging people $15 for a one time . I got the $50 wash, which is the most expensive wash you can get there, and was greatly disappointed. I asked if the worker could clean out a specific spot for me, the cup holder/center console, because there was a small spill and they reassured me it would be taken care of and was not. Terrible customer service. Went in with the intent on not only getting my oil changed here as I have done in the past but also get my car washed on the interior and exterior. I do understand that Just exterior wash is included with oil change but the guy asked me if I wanted to pay for the interior cleaning and I replied yes. He then informed me that it's $15 and I said yes please It was a very long wait and it is a very hot day. When they finally waived the washcloth in the air in the detailing area and told me my car was done, I assumed it was all good to go. But as I'm approaching the inside of the car I can see it has not been touched. They really made no apology except to say that the oil change people don't communicate well with the car wash people which is not a me problem. It's a them problem. I don't know if they're under two different ownerships or two different management but that is not advertised. So my assumption would be they know how to communicate and get the job done and have good customer service. The guy did not offer an incentive. He didn't truly offer an apology. He just blamed it on the on the other half. Unacceptable. So I go into pay for the car wash interior to be completed and he comes in to say I didn't let him finish talking. I asked him if he was there to offer me a discount and he said no. Basically he just wanted to reiterate it was the other person's fault. I then paid for the interior to get done and as I was driving away saw that they had barely touched my car. The windshield dash area is filthy and the backseat was never even touched. Paid $60 for a wash and clean the inside, honestly the inside isn't great. The stuff they use to wipe on is protectorant you could see where they just wiped on parts of it and missed other parts. There's still wetness in the bottom of my cup holders. The interior still had smudges and stuff that obviously weren't even touched. The driver's floor mat although it has some wetness is still dirty. Definitely not worth $60. I will not return that's for sure. read more

I will be the first to admit my Sienna had quite a bit of sand from a recent trip to a Bay Area dog park with my non-shedding, Golden Doodle along with short, white hairs from an emergency trip to the vet with my senior, elderly pit bull mix so I wasn't expecting a miracle. I had told the employee creating the tickets that I had 8 rubber mats to wash as well. He asked if I had third row seating that needed done, I said, "No." When I was first told the car was ready, the rubber mats were still sopping wet and heaped onto of the fabric dog bed. I am disabled so resorting all this back out is difficult with a bad back and paralyzed leg. When the Assistant Manager, Xavier, saw me pulling the wet mats off the fabric dog bed, noticing 3 rubber mats had not been washed at all. He stated there were "only 4 mats mentioned on the ticket" so I needed to pay $6 more for the remaining, small mats. Not a problem. I went back inside and paid for the mats. When I came back outside, Javier/Xavier (?) was instructing his crew to vacuum more thoroughly and dry the mats off a bit before putting them back in. He was doing ALOT of the work HIMSELF and was a good role model for his employees. I bieve the best judge of a company is not when everything goes perfectly...but when something goes WRONG and the Agency has to RECOVER. I gave 5 Stars and a $30.00 TIP because Xavier did not complain, told me what needed to be done from my end and immediately engaged his crew in fixing the problem. I have been doing oil changes at Zoom Quail Lakes for a few years....sometimes they will tell me need filter or something else. But, I always say no thanks! June 2025, I went for oil change at 5,200 miles since they did last oil change. I asked tech to please make sure check fluids etc was good, since was going on a trip. I am in waiting room now, the tech comes in and says my oil is "sludge", do I want them to flush out pan before adding new oil. I said I'm going on a trip so need vehicle to be safe while driving. He said yes we need to be safe while driving, so he recommends the flush be done now b4 trip. Soon after tech comes back again and says my battery is dead. Excuse me!!!! He says they sell batteries and could install a new one, or they will have to jump start it. I said jump start it please, and no I don't need a new battery bc I have warranty on it still. I went to pick up vehicle after paying and the engine was on. Tech suggests go home just to be safe. I said thanks and left. I had texted my husband, so when I got home he was not happy. I parked and turned engine off, then my husband started the vehicle no issue. Still he removed the battery took it to the store where we bought the battery. There they checked the battery before exchanging it since we have the warranty. They told him the battery was good and at 100%!!! So no exchange needed. We were fuming mad! Obviously someone is being dishonest!!! My husband called Zoom to check when to do synthetic oil change...He was told at 6,000 miles, vehicle was 5,200. My husband went to Zoom and asked for manager. It was the same tech, young, short man that helped me. Only thing he kept saying was he gave me a choice. Yea choice was if going on a trip you want to be safe, so have it flushed now. This was $50 extra charge. The amount is not the issue! Were they being honest or dishonest?? Now, I have to find another business to support, a place where no one feels taken advantage of. I just paid for the highest car wash inside and out tires rims everything. I got home there was still grime on my rims my door inside were half wiped my car was not vacuumed all the way I'm so disappointed I paid good money and gave them a good tip for it to be trash job . Today is 6-10-25 I went this morning at 10:30 so disappointed and the door panels were half ass done the radio part and dash was done but half assed they wiped the spray off but left it smudged and dripping in places driver door not done . When I get my car serviced by Toyota they always give me a free car wash at Zoom. Zoom is more detailed drying than most drive thru car washes. Staff is always nice and friendly and the workers who dry the cars just don't do the outside only. They dry inside all doors and hatchbacks! Zoom does a great job in cleaning and drying your car and if not satisfied that same day, they'll wash it again at no cost. read more

With my go-to spot for car washes in Stockton closing down, I now drive to Zoom in Quail Lakes. Though on the pricier side, they did a phenomenal job at cleaning both the interior and exterior. This place has just gotten worse and worse each time I give them a chance to make up for past mistakes. - The place is too expensive. $29 dollars for a plain interior and exterior service. That's too much. - It takes forever! I had to wait for more that 45 minutes for my vehicle that just required easy wash and clean. They don't have enough staffing and the ones working seems already tired even early in the day. Instead of being wiped down while wet, the exterior dries out in the sun and harder to wipe and polish. - They're not detail-oriented. It seems to hurry it up, they do the once over and done. Vacuuming of the interior was mediocre, interior dash, door, center console, and outside panels were poorly wiped down w the armorall (spots missed, excess left on surfaces), windshield both inside and outside were still dirty and had to have someone rewipe, employee used the same brush for the tire shine on exterior panels of vehicle. Very Quick service. I saw tons of cars thinking I'm going to have a long wait but right after I paid the truck had its run through the wash. The inside of the building is really clean and open. Bathrooms are available for use. Some stools were provided for seating inside as well as outside and mask are fully enforced. The vacuuming and cleaning of the vehicle took a little bit longer but that's ok just means the car is getting a thorough wipe down. I paid $40.99 for the special, which includes the wash with wax, tire shine, shine on the inside and fragrance. After waiting about 40 mins. The job was done. They cleaned very well but I couldn't find my antenna. So I needed grabbing a manager and he found it on the ground near the vacuum station. Phew...Thank God!
