Andrew is absolutely the most friendly shop manager I have ever met I have gone there for many different things and they have taken care of me at great links even in extremely stressful times I have never been turned away they have amazing pricing and a wonderfully clean shop so professional so friendly you definitely get amazing quality work every single time you go here and some great prices. I cannot say enough good things about this business. Definitely don't bother with this place, unless you like being scammed and overcharged. The main technician there is unprofessional. He chit chat with costumers for over 20 minutes about personal things while I was waiting. He doesn't run it like a proper business establishment. He promised to call me back regarding if the insurance parts were authorized parts to pass smog or not. Constantly, lying that he will check with the dealership on the car parts, but the dealership doesn't have anything to do with smogging the vehicle. His job is to smog your car and not to check for replacement car part receipts, which went through an insurance claim already. Took business elsewhere and smogged it without any problems. Very rude and unprofessional! Never greeted or made eye contact with me just got into my car without saying anything. My daughter was still inside terrified. Made me wait an hour for the oil to be delivered. They never said they were out of oil just made me wait till it was delivered. They didn't even give me a choice cause I would if went somewhere else. Okay... I've been to a lot of smog shops over the years and this has hands down been the best experience. To be honest, I hardly ever leave reviews but I felt the need to share the great experience I had here! A super friendly smog technician greeted me and answered a bunch of questions that I had about my Honda (it was also needing some minor repairs). He went over everything and really relieved my mind because I thought the repairs were more daunting than they were. He helped explain what needed to be done and I thought it was all gonna be a lot more costly than it turned out. Was really pleased with their fair pricing and excellent customer service! So these dudes are the coolest. They got me in and out and we're extremely professional. Another female customer was having a real bad day, and the employee was so patient and was honestly trying to work with her but she just wasn't having it. But I was impressed on how the employee kept their cool and once the situation was over went about his day continuing to help other people. Another customer was forking over a large amount of money happily stating that if they went anywhere else it would have been at least double what they were paying and praised the entire shop saying they always take care of them and for a reasonable price. Then there's me, just an quick and easy smog check. Done so fast, and the employee even came to me in the waiting room to let me know the cost and sign paperwork!! I mean I was super impressed. Plus the shop and waiting area was extremely tidy and clean which is hard to do when you work on cars. Things get dirty! Awesome guys just tryin to make a living and I would def recommend them to anyone and I will def be back. Thank you so much for such awesome service. Also, being a gay man I often feel like not only am I being taken advantage of, but I'm looked down upon from other mechanics but not these guys. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. They helped me with my 1995 Honda with Alignment and tire installation. I know it's an old car but they made it run brand new . I found these guys in the PennySaver. My car had failed two smog tests before coming here, and my regular mechanic did not have the diagnostic equipment needed to figure out what was going on. Mike, Lorenzo, and Luis were awesome. It took a while, and a couple more attempts, but they kept me informed through the whole thing... Taking the time to explain what was going on, and what I would be charged BEFORE the repairs were done. If I could give No Stars if it were possible. Went in for a simple smog check, and was told..."your truck passed, but there isn't a sticker on your after market intake, so I couldn't pass you." They took my money and offered no assistance. After speaking to K&N, the manufacturer of the intake, I was even more upset to find out that most places pass with the intake, with no trouble. I went home, found the sticker, and the very next day, went back to see if they would pint out the smog check. Instead, I was treated rudely and was told, "No, we will run the check again and charge you full price." I have come here every time I needed my vehicles smogged and it had never been an issue. I left, went to another establishment, where they showed me THE DAMN CERTIFICATE NUMBERS PRINTED ON THE INTAKE!!!! Worst customer service and scam artists in this town. I went here to get my car smog checked since you can get the DMV stickers here, but the guy running the place yelled at me first thing about driving into their garage by myself. I felt bad because I didn't know any better and there was no one there but me, so why didn't one of the three people there instruct me a bit better? Or why didn't they have signs telling you what to do? I was so shocked that he was yelling at me that I didn't answer and he continued to berate me, asking me "Why did you do that?" So I decided that I do not have to give my money to any business that is going to yell at me. I can get yelled at for free by my family. I expect that people I give money to should be nice to me. So I left. The girl working there was very nice, but the guy with the light blue contacts who yelled at me was not. Maybe they will do a good job for you though. I am very grateful to the Smog Tech on Airport for working with me and not giving up on my car. After 3 failed smog checks apparently what the issue was was that my intermittent sensor that sits in my intake hose is faulty. If the engine is too cold it won't work right causing the high reading of nox. The guy took time to show me the part and explain in detail what it was doing. In order to pass my smog he had me drive to Manteca to warm up the engine and bring it right back to the shop. Once I did that it passed right away. I took my Ford Escape to Smog Tech on Airport and was very satisfied with their work. The only reason I am giving 4 stars and not 5 is because I was in a time crunch to get to work. They were able to fix the issue that had my check engine light on, and then pass me SUV for the smog test. They assured me I would be able to get to work on time. While waiting they were very descriptive to me as to what they were doing. Unfortunately I did not end up leaving there until I was already supposed to be at work, then had to return for them to complete the testing. But the second test was free so that was a bonus. I was generally happy with their work, just didn't like having to make a second trip or be late to work. read more

Found this place by accident. Needed my car smogged at a STAR certified facility and saw Smog Tech was STAR certified. Called and asked about the pricing and they told me about an online coupon and I didn't even have to ask them if they had any deals. They told me upfront about the coupon. Awesome! Went there this morning and they honored the coupon and explained all the charges up front. When I went to pay, they told me there was a $2 fee to pay by credit card. It may be a little higher than the norm but this is a small business and they most likely can't afford to "eat" the credit card fees like larger businesses often do. I called before going in to see how long the wait would be for an oil change I was told there isn't a wait so I Went in for a oil change with a coupon for $29.99 I gave the coupon to the staff and he charged my card $55 without my permission. I only went in there because of the $29.99 coupon I wouldn't have never went in there if I would've know I would be getting charged $55 for a BASIC OIL CHANGE !!
