Hooray for an easy, fast, SUNDAY doctor visit. Booking online was super simple. No long waits in the tiny lobby...saw the PA within minutes of my arrival. She was friendly and professional. Did an exam. They sent me home with my medication (as they have a pharmacy on-site). She emailed a few days later to follow up, and was great about answering some new questions I had. So much better than "US Healthworks" and "The Everett Clinic" for weekend visits. Hopefully I won't have any more medical issues on a weekend, but if I do, I know where I'll go. Called ahead to insure the facility in Capitol Hill had imaging services available. I was assured they did, so I booked an appointment. I get there and I find out that wasn't accurate. A cancelation fee was 100 dollars. Not impressed at all. read more

I can't say enough amazing things about zoomcare. They fit me in at 10:30 at night, the work up was quick and effective, and the practitioner suggested I go to the ER after leaving her office. She seemed genuinely concerned about me and my health, which is such a nice change of pace from a lot of other health care providers. She even called me 24 hours later to check on me and make sure I was feeling better! High-quality care. Nice people. Good online sign-up process. Background: My symptom was severe facial pain on the left side. An MD 2 days ago had incorrectly diagnosed the problem as a migraine, and provided no treatment plan as I am pregnant. Then, earlier yesterday, a different Urgent Care center also incorrectly diagnosed the problem as a migraine, and also provided no treatment plan due to pregnancy. At this point, I hadn't slept in 2 days due to the pain level - which can be harmful during pregnancy. After the second erroneous diagnosis (I knew it wasn't a migraine as I'd had a few before - and this was completely different), I drove directly to Zoomcare in the hopes of finding someone competent enough to figure out what was wrong. I met with Mark, and he accurately diagnosed the true source of the pain (sinus blockage), knew exactly how to treat it in a pregnancy-safe way, and my severe pain symptoms had mostly subsided within just a few hours after starting the appropriate medication. It's been a day and a half now, and my pain is completely gone. I can't imagine where I'd be today if I hadn't found someone who could diagnose properly. Thank-you SO MUCH, Mark! read more

I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. My daughter went in Mon morning w/ burns from a campfire. Dr Mallory cleaned her burns & applied some Lydicaine then had her come back later to clean more & apply dressing. She had called the Burn Clinic for consult & referred her. Burn Clinic called Wed & said they couldn't see her for a week. Called Zoomcare & they got her right in. Dr Mike said no way on the week out appt. He examined the severe 2nd degree wounds, cleaned them & called the Burn Clinic to advocate for her. They agreed to transfer her right over. Dr Mike & Mallory were awesome! I can't praise them enough for the care they provided my daughter. She was seen immediately at Harborview & also rec'd excellent care. read more

Pretty damn happy with the service I just received! Had a cold that turned into a really painful earache, and after two days I couldn't deal with it anymore. My primary care guy is always booked up and I didn't want to wait over the weekend for a diagnosis so looked this place up. Easily found online that I could get an appointment in just 40mins so I filled out my info and walked right in! I was disappointed to find out that they didn't take my insurance (Cigna) - or rather, my insurance doesn't take them, so I did end up paying out of pocket - which sucks, but they were up front about it, and that's all I can really ask for. I knew I was paying for convenience (and my impatience/intolerance of my stupid ear feeling like it wants to burst). Saw Lise Martin and was super impressed with how thorough, polite, and knowledgeable she was. Way, way more than I expected from a 'doc-in-a-box' - I'd totally see her regularly if they took my insurance (and I didn't already have a primary care guy that I really like). Totally valuable to have this place in the neighborhood. Love that they're open late. Just wish the insurance industry wasn't such a stupid mess! Go here! read more

I visited Zoom because my primary care doctor was unable to see me for a sprained ankle. I had a great experience and won't hesitate to return if I need quick access to care. The offices are spotlessly clean and the receptionist was friendly and efficient. Heather, the PA who treated me, was great - competent, thoughtful and thorough. WTH. This place is awesome and convenient! We were so surprised. I booked an appt online because I was worried I had a kidney infection (and my baby is due any second.) im using a private midwife so I didn't want to deal with labor and delivery at a hospital just because I might need antibiotics. But wanted to check because I felt pain on my side and didn't know if it was labor or kidneys. Anyways, got in quick, service was awesome, it was clean and modern inside. Saw the physician assistant and told him I was worried I had a kidney infection/uti. I peed in a cup and literally, 3 minutes later he came in and told me I didn't have one. They do common labs there, they have a pharmacy there, and the people listen and are really nice. In and out in about 20 minutes. 5 stars. Now I can go labor in peace :) read more

A few weeks ago, I went to bed on a Friday feeling normal. I woke up Saturday and my foot felt strangely, mysteriously sore. By Saturday night, putting any weight at it all hurt, so I looked online to try to find an urgent care. I was able to make an appointment for 9 am the next morning so I took a handful of advil and went to bed. When I woke up Sunday morning and tried to get out of bed, trying to stand on my foot basically made me cry. I pulled myself together and hobbled to my car for my appointment. Luckily, I quickly found street parking right in front since it was a Sunday morning. The woman at the counter was friendly and polite. She got copies of my ID and insurance card and said it would be a few minutes. The PA was friendly and seemed caring. We chatted and she poked at my foot. She suspected it was an infection but wanted to send me for X-rays just in case, so she prescribed antibiotics and I went on my way with a sheet to take with me to Swedish for x-rays. I got an email later that day saying she had reviewed my x-rays and didn't see anything so to continue with the antibiotics and to follow up if it didn't seem to be improving. Luckily within a few days it was feeling MUCH better, totally better within a week. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars and not 5 is that I have insurance with a super high deductible and what happens at most doctors is that they run it through the insurance, then I get a bill to pay only the insurance negotiated fee. I was told I had to pay for the appointment right then, which I did, but I just got my EOB from my insurance showing that the negotiated rate I should have paid was $20 less than what I paid at the time of the appointment. Will I get my $20 back? Probably not. It's not a huge deal, especially considering the fact that I was able to get in in a hurry on a Sunday and be feeling better quickly, but I still found it strange. read more

I called on Friday because I had horrible sinuses infection all week, not only did they get me a same day appointment, but the have me in and out in less than 30 minutes. The doctor was great check me out and asked a few questions, and was able to prescribe an antibiotic nasal spray which helped my infection right away. And he said if I need to come back fro strong antibiotics in a few days I could come get a prescription no problem. I was so impressed with the whole process. I highly recommended, and I plan to use them next if I ever need a quick check up again. read more

Thanks to fellow Yelp reviewers - I tried out Zoom clinic in Wallingford and it was one of the easiest and BEST experiences in my life! Seriously! I had my doubts - how could it be this easy? Which begs the question - why isn't health care this easy? I had the beginnings of pink eye and was DREADING having to find a doctor, call several offices and get a same day appointment so I stumbled upon Zoom Care - got a same day appt. 45 minutes later. Saw the doctor who was WONDERFUL - so friendly! Gave me a prescription and I was home a half hour later. Does it get better than that? My out of pocket was over $100 - but this is the same I would have paid having gone to a general practice or family doctor. NO way I would have gotten a same day appt. with any of those doctors so this was so convenient and solved my issue. I will be going back here for my annual check up's - I am that happy. Got an appointment quickly, when I was in desperate need/serious pain. The facility was spotless. Erin was the woman who treated me, she had a great demeanor and helped me (who is a medical treatment-phobic) calm down and treated me accurately and informatively. My pain was addressed promptly. She was so great, they were in my aetna network and the visit and medication was only $45 dollars. I had been here once before for my wife's cold and we had a pleasant and speedy experience them as well. I mad an appointment same day and expected the appointment to last an hour or two because of wait times, but nope! I was so impressed with ZoomCare. After getting sick and developing a pretty painful skin condition, a friend recommended I go here rather than spend hours (and money) in Emergency Care. I was definitely skeptical, but it turns out that skepticism was totally unwarranted. I called early in the day and got an appointment for that evening (they're open really late, too, which is awesome). The inside waiting area is small, but quiet and nice (better than most doctors offices I've been to). The lady at the front desk was helpful and friendly as well. Once I was seen by the doctor, I was given a diagnosis and prescription in a really timely manner. The doctor took her time to listen to me and check out my symptoms, and once she told me my diagnosis, she was careful to explain everything to me thoroughly and answer my questions. I also really liked how an online profile was set up for me, and I could access further information about my visit that way. With insurance, I only paid $20 (including the cost of the prescription). What impressed me the most about the experience was that the doctor actually called to check up on me about a week later! It was great to know I hadn't been forgotten, and she actually cared if my condition was improving. I'd go back here in a heartbeat, and would definitely recommend it to others. read more

I had a great experience here. Even without the advanced equipment necessary for the diagnosis, the PA was able to tell me exactly what was wrong. Since they didn't have an ultrasound there on-site, he wasn't able to give me an official diagnosis, therefore they didn't even charge me; they sent me to the ER, where it was confirmed - I needed my gall bladder removed. I would absolutely go back again next time I have a panic pain. So much more comfortable and reasonable than going to the ER as a first resort. read more

They got me in for an appointment the same day I called, and there wasn't any kind of waiting period for new customers. Both my husband and I have seen Erin Grindle here on two seperate occasions and she is wonderful. She is caring, compassionate and just, well, sweet. She is knowledgeable and referred my husband for his issue and helped me deal with my issue quickly and kindly without wanting to cause me any extra pain. I love this place. They have online scheduling so you can always book a same day appointment if something comes up. Parking is validated which is a huge plus. They have the friendliest staff and don't make you wait very long. They even offer products if you are too lazy to go down the street to pick up the cough syrup you need. I had a good experience when I walked in on a Saturday with some bad pain in my ear. I just had to pay a co-pay, and pay for some ear drops which were inexpensive. The visit did not feel rushed at all, and they were very pleasant. I would give Zoomcare more stars, but they don't do polio vaccines here. Why not?! It's a routine childhood vaccination, and they do offer well child visits. How can they offer these and not even carry all the vaccines kids need? I wound up going on a wild goose chase trying to get my daughter vaccinated the day before school started, and wasn't able to actually get her one for a week. read more

I am a completely impartial and usually quite pessimistic person, but I have to say I think Zoomcare is totally awesome. Who doesn't inevitably start get ting really sick on a weekend? Now it's not a problem, because these guys are open. Just pop online and mark your appointment on any open slot . If that is too hard, you can call it in too, there is a nice person standing by to help you. I first came here with a severe case of strep throat which ended up as a minor emergency when my swollen uvula began choking off my air supply. The lady physician was absolutely professional and exceedingly kind, making me feel completely at ease even when I was spitting up my own saliva as my uvula was spat out on my tongue. My insurance covered all but $30 of the bill (including prescription) and frankly even if I did not have insurance I would have been happy to pay the full $150 or so charge; beats the ER on a Sunday afternoon with no other choices but to sit it out and suffer until I could try to call my Doctor for an appointment on Monday. And instead of a lifetime of ER lawyers chasing after you, you simply check out and pay your bill right as you leave without ever looking back. One note, once you sign up for the appointment you give your CC. If you fail to show you must pay the $100 cancel fee. I have absolutely no problem with that and it seems only fair. Just make sure you've got gas in your car and you make time for traffic when scheduling. This is a first class option for quick and professional medical care; I have seen the future and it is Zoomcare! read more

I have no complaints about the service here at all. The receptionist was nice and friendly, signing up for a next-day appointment online was quick and easy, and the doctor was very kind and sympathetic. I have no insurance, but the billing was quick and reasonably cheap when compared to going in to an Urgent Care center. For how much of a nightmare it can be to get appointments elsewhere, I think that alone is worth the 3 stars. However, the doctor was completely unable to properly refer me to a specialist, or even recommend somewhere else, which was my main reason for going in the first place (and I stated as such). Understandably, she did say she was new to the area, but I still think that having a knowledge of specialists to refer severe cases to is important, especially for a clinic that can't handle most severe cases. Additionally, the medication I was given not only did not help my problem, but made it considerably worse, to the point where I'm honestly wondering if she gave me the wrong thing (the instructions even said it wasn't to be used for the purpose she prescribed it, but pain makes people do desperate things -- I strongly regret trusting her on it now). I'm in much more pain now than I was before, and without a referral, I can't go see a specialist about my condition. I will not be returning here again. read more

She was seen on a Sunday, which was very convenient given her immediate need, and she received prompt care and attention as I had in 2013.
