Everything about this place is terrific! I was very sick and had been to see my doctor twice without satisfaction. On a Saturday, I walked in, got an appointment within 1.5 of arriving and was seen immediately upon my return to the office. Erin had the best bedside manner of any provider I've had. She made me feel listened to, cared about, and not an imposition. After all was said and done, she explained everything to me, talked about pricing so that no surprises were experienced, and got me on my way quickly. I just moved to Seattle and unfortunately came down with a nasty sinus infection soon after. I was miserable, but the thought of searching for a new doctor and fitting an appointment into my schedule felt completely daunting and I was tempted to just suffer through it. Fortunately I found ZoomCare online. Favorable Yelp reviews prompted me to give it a try and I'm so glad I did! I made an appointment for that very afternoon, sign-in was a breeze, and I was out in 40 minutes with my meds waiting for me down the street. It's so nice to have a facility like this available for when you just need a quick in-and-out visit, it was exactly what I needed. Staff were all friendly, and the office clean. I've had mixed experiences here, hence the middle of the road rating. It's a really clean environment, accessible, and you can get an appointment easily, however I've found the providers to be hit and miss. I've had excellent ones who are really thorough, and mediocre ones who have sent me away saying nothing's wrong, only to be diagnosed with a kidney infection, for example, the next day. I think they also need to make sure they're up on how systems at other hospitals work with things like referrals. I had an instance where the Zoom+Care provider requested I see a specialist and informed me I wouldn't need a referral. I tried to make the appointment, but was informed I needed the referral from Zoom+Care faxed to them, yet upon asking again Zoom insisted I didn't need a referral and so I had to push for one. This was with a few different hospitals around Seattle. A little thing, maybe, but it's what makes a situation more stressful, especially when you're unwell or trying to resolve a health issue. read more

If you care more about people being polite than actually doing their jobs properly, this is the place for you! ZoomCare improperly following through on a urine culture led to me getting a kidney infection. A 2 day test that takes 5? Incompetent miscommunication fraught with happy routine protocol outreach with the wrong test information? My first Yelp review in a very long time, and ZoomCare is the reason. The customer service at this place was an absolute nightmare. My story: I had a possible case of pneumonia, so I needed a chest x-ray. They go through Seattle Radiology, so I went there first thing in the morning (8:00) and got it done. I didn't hear anything until 12:25, so I called ZoomCare. They said they hadn't received the chest x-ray yet. I called Seattle Radiology and they said they were sent at 9:25, but that they would resend them for me. Fine. At 2:30 when I still hadn't heard anything I called ZoomCare again, and they said that they received the chest x-ray but that it was still being processed. I expressed frustration, and they said they'd get back to me as soon as the results were processed. Definitely by the end of the day. At 4:30, I still hadn't heard anything, so I called ZoomCare only to be told that they had never received my chest x-rays after all. They told me they'd call Seattle Radiology and call me back right away. I never heard back from them. It was total amateur hour, infuriating, and really the opposite of "Zoom" Care. The doctor that saw me and spoke with me over the phone was just fine, which is the only reason this got two stars. The doctors are probably all swell. As other reviewers have noted, ZoomCare has a dubious and deceitful billing process. They are not upfront about the cost of a visit. I was made to pay a 140 dollar upfront fee (in addition to testing fees) although while making the appointment online I was led to believe that they accepted United Healthcare insurance and therefore I would only be responsible for the copay charge as is typical with walk-in clinics. If you want to chance having to pay over 100 dollars to see a physician try ZoomCare out, it's clean and convenient. However, I would highly recommend going to Swedish Urgent Care where insurance is actually honored. read more

Went in Sunday morning and was really impressed with the staff. Unfortunately, my symptoms were worsening on the medication I received so I called back three times on Tuesday, starting at 930am. Was told I would receive a call in between her patients. Finally got called back at 815pm, which i missed because by then I had given up and was no longer sitting next to my phone. Called twice on wednesday, again starting around 930am. It's now 630, place closes in half an hour and I have received no follow up or courtesy for my worsening symptoms. Very very unhappy about the care here. read more

Receptionist and doctor was friendly, although I'm not sure the doctor was very qualified (not an MD). The issue was that the condition we came in for was not fully treated, and ultimately returned because the doctor decided not to do a full test for the condition. Ended up having to go to the ER in another town because the condition got so bad it had to be treated immediately. read more

Zoom care as a clinic was clean and helpful. I got the medication I needed and was feeling better a few days later, which is what we all want from urgent care. As for the after headache, zoom care has done nothing but waste many countless hours on the phone being transferred from insurance to zoom care to the lab. First of all the paying upfront is ridiculous, why you can't run insurance like every other urgent care upfront is absurd. I had an appointment in early May, and am still waiting to receive my reimbursement, I have called countless times, and been given excuses like "I'm sorry we billed it to the wrong Primera Address" "Your insurance hasn't responded to us yet"; so when i called Primera, they informed me the check had already been cut. When I then called Zoom Care back, they said they would get it processed that day. It has been a few days, so I'm hoping it is the bank taking the time to put the money back. I have also received an extra bill from the actual lab where my tests were done, because zoom care submitted the lab work to an out of network provider. Where I now owe an additional $233.00 dollars. I will NEVER suggest or attend a zoom care again. The temporary/ quick fix to being sick is not worth this LONG and never ending hassle. I pay close to $60.00 a month for my insurance and would like to actually be able to use it when I'm sick! read more

I'll start off by saying the three stars is for the amount I was charged. I am in Seattle as a travel RN, and needed a physical for my company. The PA stated that a physical at Zoom Care is actually $200, but they charged me for an office visit since at this time I do not have insurance. I went ahead and made an appt with them bc it was incredibly easy (online, even same day), however they do require a cc to hold the appt. I also had a PPD done, and was charged $20, which is pretty average. I felt that the PA worked with me on my bill, but I still wasn't anticipating a $160 bill. I think if they disclose their prices ahead of time, that's fine, they are getting you in at your convenience, and it is easy in and out. The employees are all very pleasant and accommodating. I will definitely go back when I have insurance (if they accept it). There is a monitor in the waiting area that repeatedly plays, "would you like to live to 120?" "ask us how!". Maybe I was the only one disturbed by this as a health care professional, well aware of where the majority of health care expenses are incurred. read more

I have visited ZoomCare many times in the past and had great experiences. The last two times have not been so great. About a month ago I tried to get an appointment due to sickness. I set up the appointment and it was confirmed. About an hour later I start getting inundated with emails (5) saying I was confirmed. I show up for the appointment and am told they no longer take my insurance (Cigna) and that they tried to email me to let me know. I leave without being seen and go home to check my messages. The only message that was not a confirmation said the doctor was double booked (not sure how that happens with there level of tech) and they needed to move my appt. Given I missed the email but the stories did not match. Ended up going to an urgent care. I did reached out to confirm they take Cigna through the main website questions email. Find out they do take it but are considered out of network which is fine but again different stories. Fast forward to today. Show up today for a physical and flu shot (10 minutes early) and find the same person behind the counter. Answer all the questions and go sit down. Keep in mind this is at 8 am (appointment time) and I am the only person there. About 8:05 one of the practitioners shows up for work. About a minute after that I ask if if I will be going back soon because I have another appointment I have to get to after this one. The person behind the counter manages to not look up or move and responds they are about ready. Basic customer service would at a minimum prompt eye contact and going to check. About 10 after they come get me. Go through the plethora of questions and final ask if they have my past records as most of this info should already be in the system. They say sure let us pull up your past records. Again they all seemed much more disorganized then I have experienced in the past. Once done they sit me in a room to get blood drawn. After about 5 minutes I go ask if someone is going to come pull blood. Then I hear the person behind the counter say oh yeah I'm coming. To say the least I was not filled with confidence. All in all my 8-8:30 appointment was actually about 8:10-8:40 for no apparent reason. I also have concerns about the person behind the counter who didn't really seem to be very knowledgeable or care about peoples time. Unfortunately this will be my last time visiting this business. read more

I have had nothing but good experiences at zoom care. I've been a total of three times now, two for specific issues, and most recently for a physical. All three times have been different doctors, but they have all been very kind and knowledgable. I went to Franciscan first because it's so close by, and because I wasn't sure how good zoom care would be for a physical type of appointment - sure, specific issues I was already confident with them, but I felt I should have a regular doctor for my physical. Well, franciscan was literally the worst experience I have had with a doctor in my life, and I knew zoom care couldn't be nearly as bad. I was pleasantly surprised when the doctor actually cared, made sure I was comfortable, made sure all my questions were answered, and was ready for any follow ups that may have been needed. Everything was quick and painless, and I definitely came out with more knowledge than I went in with. I highly recommend this place (especially if your insurance covers it), for any medical issues you may have. If you have any questions, the customer service is very quick very email (within a few hours during business hours usually) and helpful as well - probably one of the best I have dealt with to be honest. They are absolutely awesome! I came here a few weeks back for a major toothache and saw Erin who patched me up and gave me a dentist referral so I can get things squared away. She was patient, down to earth, informative and chatted with me like we were having a cup of joe. Didn't have to wait, she got right to the issue with no dilly dallying, and the cost and payment upfront (insurance or not) was explained, easy to understand, and handled within minutes with no follow up hassles. I have had uneventful experiences with healthcare provides for 20 years so I know when I meet a team as rare and fantastic as Erin and staff, and a facility as transparent, friendly and welcoming as Zoomcare: Jackpot! I swore to her that I would be back for an annual physical visit because I have never felt so comfortable with any healthcare professional since I was a teen (and that appointment was even better because I wasn't in pain!). I look forward to having Erin and Zoomcare in my corner for my healthcare needs. Every healthcare facility should take note on how to run a facility as streamlined, friendly and straight to the matter as Zoomcare. Especially in Los Angeles (where I'm originally from). I popped into Zoom Care on a Sunday to get a quick flu shot. I was in and out quickly with no appointment needed. The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Zoom Care took my insurance and my out of pocket was a whopping $0!! What a great alternative to the hassles of making an appointment with my doctor, waiting in my docto's waiting room, and having to pay a co-pay. Great concept with great execution! She gave space for me to address my questions, provided additional thoughts, and I felt completely understood as a patient. I was visiting Seattle from Washington, DC. Flying exacerbated an illness and I needed urgent (although not emergency) care. I found ZoomCare and it was covered as "in-plan" on my health insurance. I didn't wait for more than 5 minutes, the staff (from the front desk, to the Physician's Assistant, to the Physician) were exceedingly pleasant and friendly. I could not have been taken care of any faster or any better. The office was clean, bright, and technologically advanced. (When the PA emailed me yesterday to follow up with some test results, she even remembered why I was in Seattle and mentioned that she hoped the birthday party was fun!) I just got back from bringing my 6-year-old in for a potentially dangerous eye infection. I second every positive review. There was a glitch in our appointment time--my computer's fault, not theirs'--but they got us in 15 minutes later. They were so kind and prompt and good with my daughter. The clinic is very high-tech. We saw Erin, and she wanted to confirm my daughter's dx with an offsite MD. She took a picture and sent it over, and within 5 minutes they had a treatment plan. I didn't want to have to wait until the next week for my regular clinic to open nor go to the ER. They were very efficient, had very short wait time, and the space was bright and modern. I was absolutely impressed by this clinic. I just moved to Seattle. I needed a doctor on Saturday so I googled area docs. I found zoomcare and was able to get an appt within 2 hours! When I arrived I was very surprised that the provider came out to get me (that's weird to me because that's my job! I'm a medical assistant!! Lol). She took me back, gathered all my vitals herself - again really cool since most providers are too good to do that. She was so nice, very informative & very thorough. I was being seen for a possible broken foot and she went threw my whole history and even gave me a referral for a seperate issue! Most doctors would say I would need to make another appt for that. I'm just very impressed by this clinic! They go above and beyond! I even got a phone call a few hrs after getting home and an email today with all my results. AMAZING!! I began experiencing pain in the middle of the night and was worried about getting into a doctor the next day because I had to work and then it ws the weekend and I doubted I would be able to get into see my regular doctor. I was able to schedule an appointment online that night for 8 am the next day. I arrived, was seen by the PA and was out the door with a prescription in 15 minutes. I went in for a TB test, which is required for my work. I told the very friendly gentleman that I would rather not use my insurance and pay up front for a few reasons, one being that my insurance would not accept the charge. After a few minutes of arguing, he convinced me to pull out my insurance card and guaranteed me that my insurance would pay for the visit. You guessed it. A few months later I receive a bill from ZOOM-folks saying that I owe $145 for the office visit, and $20 for the actual test. PISSED OFF! I gave two stars because they were nice... but, come on, if you try to convince your patient that something is true, then it better be true. Not coming back and not recommending this place to anyone. read more

I came down with a nasty virus going around my office (gotta love recycled air) and it caused me to lose my voice. Having gotten hit with pneumonia previously this year and feeling the cough settle in my chest I knew I needed to get in and get this taken care of before it got worse. Thankfully Zoomcare had opened as was accepted by my insurance. They have an online reservation system so I didn't have to beg a friend to call for me while I write them notes to get an appointment. I arrived and was offered tea and shortly after was led back. I saw Erin Grindle and she was incredibly nice and listened to me croak out my recent medical history and actually asked me questions that made sense! I got my prescriptions faxed to my pharmacy and was on my way to feeling better. I was planning on doing a review anyway but I'm glad I waited until today because I got a follow up phone call and email from Erin checking on my progress today. That kind of follow up is rare and it definitely put a smile on my face. read more

It was 4am and I was fed up with my cough and sore throat... I wasn't getting any sleep so I googled "walk-in clinic, Seattle" and this was the first place that came up. Reviews were OUTSTANDING so I booked an appointment (via their online website!!!) for an appointment as soon as they opened. This place is clean, laid out well and EFFICIENT. I was greeted by the front desk gentleman and he scanned my insurance card and photo ID and I was seen by the doctor within 5 minutes. Doctor was very nice, caring and she had a great bedside manner. Diagnosis was a virus so the doctor indicated that I could be made comfortable with cough syrup and she also provided a prescription for a non-drowsy cough suppressant for when I returned to work. Before leaving I checked out at the front desk where my prescription paperwork was ready for me, I paid my co-pay and was out and on my way to fill the script (ZoomCare does have an in-house pharmacy, but they were out of my meds that I required). This place is truly amazing and incredibly efficient. I heard they even offer Skype for folks needing to chat with a doctor, but unable to come into the clinic. It's truly impressive that medical care has advanced to this level of customer service. I surely hope more ZoomCare offices are established in the neighborhoods of Seattle (especially West Seattle). read more

The person I saw at Zoom Care was very nice, listened and was thorough. However, I was pretty frustrated since their website shows First Choice Health as an excepted insurance and First Choice's directory says all providers at Zoom Care are covered... yet I had to pay all charges with a credit card, get a receipt, find a reimbursement form online and then mail it to First Choice to get a reimbursement because Zoom Care couldn't talk to my insurance company personally by phone on a Saturday to verify coverage. That's a pretty stone-aged billing system. They also told me, they couldn't call Monday and get my insurance verified for future appointments, he said they'd need to do it every visit and if it's a Saturday and no one at my insurance is working, I'd have to go through the reimbursement process. You guys are an after hours clinic, so by definition won't I only use you when my insurance/doctor's closed? I understand wanting to make sure you get paid, but you have my credit card number on file. Couldn't you just have me sign an authorization in the event my insurance for some reason rejected it? I mean, you sure did get that $175, but... you lost all my future medical costs because this is too much of a hassle to deal with. read more

I am not from Seattle, and was there visiting a friend. I got a really bad cold, which I was hoping would clear up before my plane ride home. Unfortunately it seemed to get worse, and it moved into my ears the night before my flight. Terrified of permanent hearing damage, I was able to make an appointment the morning of my flight, and see Dr. Mazurik. The appointment was very timely, with no waiting. With a plane to catch, that was of utmost importance to me. Dr. Mazurik was very careful and thorough, and told me I had an ear infection. The antibiotics were right there at the facility, which was amazing. She advised me that there was some risk of damage, as there always is with flying, but that I should be OK with the right drugs and care. She gave me advice for what else to take (which the clinic made no attempt to upsell me on, which was also amazing). I paid for the visit and my prescription (22 bucks for a 10-day prescription) on the way out the door, caught my plane, and everything worked out wonderfully. Highly recommend this clinic to locals and to visitors, since insurance is not a requirement, and since the practice is set up to be quick! read more

this company is HORRIBLE. their website is inaccurate. you sign up for a Skype visit, it doesnt work the first time, you wait 1.5 hours for another visit. it then works and they proceed to tell you that washington is out of their area for Skype visits. why doesnt it say that on their website. They just wasted two hours of my time. i could have been in & out of the facility by now. Furious. read more
