Food was great! Service at register was very "Matter of fact" maybe because it was busy, server very friendly. Major issue is the issue with the sound system, very consistent and annoying bursts of static before and after announcements (for trivia). The static/bursts of sound took away from the atmosphere which otherwise could have been stellar. read more

Disappointed. Order for yourself at the bar for both drinks and food. Food was not stellar. Had Tai pizza and chicken taco- wouldn't order either one again. Interior was cute, but it was loud, and did I mention we had to get up and order everything ourselves? Another great Yelp find. This one is off the main road through Alexandria, but worth it. We were surprised by the order process (seat yourself and order at the bar), but the food came out quick and accurately. We had a personal pizza, tacos, and burritos between the 4 of us. We had the 2 taco (1 beef / 1 chicken) and rice and the burrito with Bloody Marys. Very filling and great taste. All was very large portions and couldn't finish it all. They also gave chips and a cup of salsa. Great our door and indoor seating right next to a large resort area with cabins and fun. Didn't get to do the lake but great night out to eat. read more

Sorry to say but the Detroit Lakes one is much better. Was so excited to have in here, but was totally let down. Super expensive for what we got, Large taco pizza and large cheese pizza, $35, wait , what?!?!? And it may have been worth it, if only it had tasted like the ones we had in Detroit Lakes. Bummer. Very expensive for what little options you have on the menu. Seating can be an issue as well. But the food and drinks are pretty good.

We ate a late lunch here while visiting the area. I'm not a fan of counter service, but as such the staff were nice and drinks were delivered quickly. The patio area with lake views as amazing and I could see myself putting in serious time out there. The food was very average. I had a green chile burrito which was ok. Others had pizza which got not so great reviews because it had too much sauce and it was too sweet of a sauce for our liking. I would come back again if I were in the area and would plan for a couple drinks outside. read more

Large and in charge, big mouth bartender.... Ordered two beers when we arrived, while I was carrying them back to the table I noticed there was a black medium sized curly hair (I have blonde hair) in one of the beers, whatever it happens. My wife (long blonde hair) took the beer back while I watched our child and politely asked for a replacement. The bartender (dark curly hair) scoffed at her and gave her attitude, my wife just smiled and asked for a menu as there were none on the table, bartender made a face and told her she needed to find the menu online.... This would have been fine without the attitude but all tables around us had menus. About 20 minutes later I went up to get another beer and the bartender's back was to me and she was loudly talking noise about my wife for all other patrons around to hear... completely uncalled for and unprofessional. Ownership should be aware of this type of behavior as it is unacceptable in any industry, but even more so in hospitality jobs. Wont be going back, rather give my money to another business. read more

Zorbaz has amazing food! It is tradition for my friends and family to always eat there when we are up north. I had not been to the Alexandria location yet and tried it last night. The atmosphere is fun and food was sooooo good. The only reason why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because there was no waitress on duty. It makes it really hard for a family with little ones to go the bar often for our orders. read more

Fairly expensive, just ok pizza in a really fun atmosphere. The theme in this restaurant is cute. You will not find any letter "s" in anything there; they have all been replaced with z's. Fun, upbeat music is playing. There are no servers so you need to order everything at the bar which is a little annoying. Still saw quite a lot if staff for a place that had no servers so I'm wondering why. The pizza is way to expensive for what it is. I thought it was fairly generic and nothing special. The food is average, pizza was ok the sauce tastes like spaghetti sauce to me. My son ordered the burrito which was huge serving size. It tasted like Northern Minnesota Mexican food, blah with a lot of cheese on top. This place is fairly expensive considering is kinda of a self service place. For what it is, (a bar with fantastic bar food) this place rocks. Solid veggie pizza option for my (vegetarian) wife. Simple, tasty quesadilla for my son. Went Sunday morning for the Bloody Mary bar. Their house made mix was delicious, and they have great garnishes. My favorite things to have is pickles, cheese and beef sticks! They have several other garnishes as well. They only had 2 pieces of pepper jack cheese left and when I asked if they had more the bartender said no? Kinda strange but overall good bloody for the price, the patio was still open and it was a great Sunday morning. read more

We arrived and we're super excited to sit on the patio..only to find there was no service and you had to order at the bar..then we ordered the wings as it stated they were worth the wait..Disappointing to say the least..they were like eating rubber. Zorbaz is very casual by design. Probably the best outdoor dining spot in Alex. You order at the bar and they deliver the food to your table. You need to fetch your own plates and utensils which takes a bit to get used to. But it is a fun atmosphere and the food is great. read more

A definite negative experience. The bartender acted very rude towards me, showing and verbally expressing obvious impatience both when I didn't realize initially I was supposed to pay upfront and when I walked away, having forgotten to sign my debit card receipt (Bartender's words: "Get BACK here!") The food was also pretty tasteless (tried the Club pizza and the nachos). I have had great dine-ins at other Zorbaz locations but I absolutely cannot say the same for this one in Alexandria. The lack of table service with table service prices is a definite minus. I had a pizza with Canadian bacon & green peppers which was mediocre at best. As another member of our group (8 of us) said, the pizza is as though it were half cooked and left later for the remaining toppings to be added and finished. The positive--a good draft beer selection. I may or may not return, likely not as I was not impressed. I can get better food with table service elsewhere in Alexandria. I will also say this place is better for the 20 somethings who are more into partying than eating. read more

Decent place to go. It was packed when we went there. The night crew could clean better after the drunken masses go home and prepare for the families the next day. The pizza was good as always as was the nachos. If you are looking fir a quick bite while traveling the area I would recommend it. Not my cup of tea....There was four of us that ate inside and wow was it noisy. High ceilings where the sound bounces. We've also eaten outside where the bees joined us. Having spent the week in Alexandria, we ate at Zorbaz twice. The pizza was freshly prepared and tasted similar to what you would expect from such a restaurant. It certainly wasn't the best pizza you could order, but easily satisfied the family after a long day. I would rate the food at 3 stars, the loss of a star comes from the door policy of 21+ only after ten. What makes the situation so pathetic, is the poor attempt they make at providing a "night club" atmosphere. My advice, this pizza is not worth the trouble. I suppose that this shanty restaurant doesn't care how influential their customers are. I suppose you cannot expect much in a town of this size. read more
