Fifteen miles from Reading, there is finally a substantial Chinese vegetarian menu, a whole page of vegan entrees. My sweet friend scoped this place out and sampled a variety of dishes for me before taking me, so cool. There is all the traditional stuff, and then veg duck, chicken, and ham, crafted from tofu or seitan. The seitan duck is particularly tender and good. We loved the scallion pancakes too. My friend special-requested curry sauce for her tofu dish, and it was really tasty; hope this gets onto the regular menu. A nice touch is the bottle of spicy sriracha rooster sauce on the table, yes please, since Zou's can be a bit shy on the spice. The great thing is that there is always something to come back and try. But I ask you, is there a demand for vegan food in Morgantown, and who is buying this food enough to keep it on the menu? I hope it stays. I don't *have* to have mock meats, but they are a nice treat. The building is on the end of an aging strip mall called the Clocktower, but the location atop a hill is nice, and you have a view of the area when you sit in the windows. Pretty chandelier. too. Prices are very affordable, and it is BYOB. Our bill was $52 for 3 appetizers and 4 entrees. Our recommendations would be to turn down the lights a bit at night and add a few candles and some music, and please, something other than news or sports on the tv if it must be on. They don't seem to focus on their dining room as much as their takeout. There wasn't a wine bucket for our white wine; we will bring one next time. In the middle of our meal, the owner's little boy came out festooned in a cute zebra hat and waved his large inflatable sword at us. I wish I had a picture. We considered it our entertainment.

Good, not great. Got the crab rangoon, general tso's and the vegetable lo mein. The crab rangoon was awesome, got 6 big pieces for 3 bucks. General tso's was 10 bucks but had a big portion. Chicken was decent but not amazing. Semi chewy. Lo mein was decent too. Noodles didnt have a lot of seasoning but were ok. 7 bucks for a big portion. Overall id give it a 6.5/10. Might go here again, but there was definitely hits and misses.

I'll be honest, I didn't know much about this place going in, but I'm really glad I went and I'll definitely be back. Walking in, the first thing you'll notice is a beautiful, large fish tank built right into the wall on your right. The restaurant is dim and upscale-feeling, but still very family-friendly and not loud or overstimulating, so you can actually have a conversation. They have both booths and tables, and the space is very open and spread out. As a parent, you can even strategically seat your family in view of the fish tank or the windows to give the kids something to look at. It's great for a casual family dinner, a date night, or even a birthday celebration. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with no ramps, you can roll right in to your table. It's located in a plaza but set apart, so parking was never an issue. Plenty of spots, including handicap parking up front with just a short walk to the entrance. They have a solid variety on the menu including alligator bites, burgers, pasta, salads, and more. It is on the higher end price wise. Most entrees start around $14 and up, and even the kids meals begin at $8.90. The cocktail menu is extensive and the dessert menu is worth a look too. They also have a lunch menu where prices vary a bit more favorably. I ordered the Coastal Cheddar cheeseburger burger with no tomatoes and it was excellent. Very fresh, well seasoned, and served with shoestring fries that were equally on point. They also bring out a ciabatta loaf with butter to start, which was a really nice touch. Food came out quickly (always a plus). The staff is genuinely incredible. There's a tag team mentality where anyone on the floor can help you, refill your drink, or check on your table. My server was very attentive, and even when they got busy someone always stepped in. No reservations needed, at least when I went which was on a Sunday around 1pm. Highly recommend!

Service- Amazing- our waitress was so nice but not that attentive which was ok but our food also came out after 45 minutes of waiting after we ordered. Normally that would take a review done but this place was so good it didn't!!! Ambience- the tables are a little small but other wise great! It's hard to explain but they have got a good vibe! Overall 4 stars- wish I could give a 4.5 but that's ok!

One of the first restaurants you come to when coming in from I-95 is Water Street seafood, a restaurant that provides a great relaxed vibe, consistent with the area. They have an outdoor patio which was far too hot on the 4th of July weekend, so we sat right inside the dining room. There was a great energy in the place coming from both staff and other patrons. There's a decent view from the restaurant itself, but certainly head to the lighthouse area just about a mile away for the best views and pictures - it's definitely a cute town to explore. We had the tuna nachos, steamed shrimp, and a couple of soft drinks. Many of the other tables were ordering the crabs. Pricing averaged about $30 per person, including drinks, tip and tax. All of the servers carried similar high energy and efficiency, Samantha served our table and she was great. If you're even close to Havre de Grace, you owe it to yourself to stop by Water Street Seafood.

When the waitress finally arrived, she mentioned she was the only one working and implied that the slow service would continue throughout the evening. Thankfully, my husband quickly looked up another local spot, and that's when we found Captain Krab Cajun Seafood & Boil--what a blessing! Not only did we enjoy incredible food and exceptional service, but both the server and the owner went above and beyond to make our daughter's birthday truly special. We were treated to fresh, delicious seafood, a sparkler candle dessert, a plush gift for the birthday girl, and even a light-up birthday sign! We felt like part of their family. We ordered oysters, clam chowder, boiled eggs, baby clams, and snow crab legs--everything was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. You can even customize your meal by choosing from four different seasonings and five levels of spiciness, which makes it ideal for families or groups with mixed tastes. One of the most fun parts? You can write on the walls, tables, and even the ceiling! They also have a claw machine for the kids (and kids at heart). We'll absolutely be back next time we're in town! P.S. It's BYOB!

Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, clean, and thoughtfully designed. It feels upscale without being stuffy, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting from the moment you walk in. We started with the crab rangoons and then ordered five sushi rolls: the Creamy & Crispy Roll, Crunchy Crab Roll, Black Dragon Roll, Hawaii Roll, and the Volcano Roll with spicy tuna. Every single roll was fantastic. Not "some were better than others" fantastic. Not "we found a favorite and tolerated the rest" fantastic. We genuinely loved every roll that came to the table. The Volcano Roll with spicy tuna was my personal favorite and an easy 10/10, but honestly there wasn't a single thing we ordered that we wouldn't get again. The presentation deserves its own mention. The rolls were beautifully plated, complete with gorgeous edible flowers and thoughtful garnishes that made everything look almost too pretty to eat. Service was excellent. The food came out surprisingly quickly, but not all at once. Instead, the rolls arrived in small groups, which actually made the experience even better because we could enjoy each one before the next arrived. For two people, five specialty rolls and crab rangoons came to about $80, which is completely reasonable and honestly pretty standard for quality sushi. We will absolutely be back, and we've already started recommending Hills to Sea to friends and family. If you're a sushi lover in Lancaster County, put this place on your list immediately.
