They advertise 50% off Wednesdays after 7PM if you're wearing pajamas, but only at the register is there a sign that disqualifies many clothing pieces as pajamas. Nowhere in they're advertising or anywhere else in their store is this sign, so you don't realize that what you're wearing doesn't qualify as pajamas until you've already served yourself yogurt and are ready to pay. I had to pay full price or just give them back the yogurt. read more

We went to a Yogurtland first and weren't impressed with their selection, so we went to Zoyo and we loved it. It looks new and clean, the set up is great (love the topping table that you can walk around instead of waiting in line), and people were friendly. The yogurt machines were great and everything worked well--there are mini screens above the machines to show you the flavors. There's also a cute outdoor area to sit and eat. The only good flavor was lavender vanilla. We spent $19 on two normal sized frozen yogurts. That is absolutely insane. There were no Reese's peanut butter cups in the toppings either which are my favorite. Yogurtland is cheaper. My family and I will never go back to this location! My son and husband were getting ice cream, I wasn't. I didn't have my mask on but they did. The girl at the register told us we wouldn't be served without a mask. So I walked out as I was the only one without a mask. The girl still went in the back and refused us service. I put my mask on and asked her to please serve my son so we could leave. She stayed in the back room, called her manager, and was literally cowering in the a ball in the back. My husband and I waited to pay, until the manager got there. We are people who follow the rules. We stayed to pay. I walked out when she asked. I put a mask on before I asked her to serve us. Best frozen yogurt I've had! Their flavors are really vibrant and each has a distinct flavor profile unlike a lot of other fro yo places that are pretty dull in the flavor arena. It is pricy (I paid $10 for my cup) but that's to be expected for frozen yogurt anywhere I think. The flavors I got were salted caramel, pomegranate tart, and cake batter. Wonderful place to get yogurt. I like the layout of this shop. It has a big garage door that they open when it's nice weather. It adds a fun vibe to his location. They offer a loyalty program and they cater for birthdays. This location offers a large variety of flavors and toppings. I would sit outside. I was quite disappointed with Zoyo mostly because the price has climbed so steeply. I got the same amount and type of toppings as i did 18 months ago and I was shocked to face a price increase of around 60% which makes the product uncompetitive with Andy's custard but a mile away. read more

Last night a friend and I went into Zoyo and were charged $78 for 3 frozen yogurts. The boy that rung us up was obviously new and in training. Which we totally understand people make mistakes. The boy that was training him let us know his manager would fully refund us. The next morning my friend drove all the way from Scottsdale and they only gave her $40 cash. The manager let her know she couldn't give her a full refund? It was very unprofessional and inconvenient. Although the boys did make a mistake the manager should've corrected it by giving a full refund for the inconvenience. Or fix their card system so it could show back up on her card... instead of cash. Very strange way of handling this situation. Will not be back read more

Terrible. This place does not train staff, particularly management on basic customers service. After we paid for our yogurts and asked for spoons to eat with, we were told "sorry we are out of spoons". Seriously out of spoons! When we asked how are we suppose to eat without spoons... the cashier said we can take it home and eat with our own spoons. We told her we weren't going home so that wouldn't work for us and then we requested a refund. 3 phone calls and 2 "Managers" later we were told they do not give refunds ever!!! She then hand wrote a note that said: 2 free yogurts on next visit. Not quite free since we already paid. This is not a drive through food service; they have indoor and out door seating but you might need to plan to eat with your hands for dine in. I have been to every self-serve fro-yo place in the east valley except this one. Well...I finally went due to my usual place having broken machines when I was trying to get my 'fix'. Let me just say that Zoyo has the best flavors and the most original flavors. I got the Raspberry Pomegranate Tart and their Chocolate. I tried flavors such as Watermelon Sorbet, Aloha, and Salted Caramel. All were delicious and I can't wait to go back for more. The pricing is average I think .45/oz and they have all the toppings you might expect. Actually the only topping I wish they had but they didn't was fruity pebbles or fruit loops. Anyway, this is my new favorite fro-yo spot and even better that it is a little closer to my home. Break away from your usually fro-yo spot and give them a try. A good variety of flavors but not many that attracted me. I was looking for strawberry, mango or coconut but these were not offered. I opted for watermelon, original and lemon. Watermelon was too sweet, original was ok and lemon was good. Lots of toppings to choose. Different fruits, mainly berries but again no mangos. There were chocolate chips, brownies, mochis, nuts, granolas, chocolate bar pieces, coconut, are some other options to choose from. There were about 7 different sauces also. Every time we've come here, which is probably a good 6 times now, the price has seemed to steadily increase. The sizes haven't changed, and I don't get anything much different. Not sure how that has come to happen. This time, we got the usual smaller size and got our froyo and toppings, and my fiance asked for whipped cream. The cashier replied, "Oh, well we found out that whipped cream actually weighs nothing so we were losing money." To which my mister and I both think, 'Oh, are you now?" when two medium sized cups full costs $16. Sixteen dollars?!!! And you don't have whipped cream because you're losing money?! And you TOLD the customer that exact response! 8 bucks for froyo? Come on meow. Get outta here with all that. My girls love coming here. They have a good selection of yogurt flavors and pretty good selection of mix-ins. If you have a punch card from another yogurt place, they will match it in punches, up to 5, if you turn it in. Zoyo is always REALLY clean and the staff is friendly. Went in at 4 on sunday, very dead. Two people working in the back, waited a couple of minutes at register to pay for stuff. Yogurt is good, toppings bar was messy and a lot of stuff was damn near gone. For it being so dead and the two people being on staff, I would think that the place would have been clean. Bits of trash and topping stuff all over floor. The glass roll down window door thing was grubby and smudged over the whole thing. Like a hoard of kids came in and put their snot faces all over the glass. I will never come back here. OH and What the hell is there a tip jar for? This is a self serve and the only interaction I got was when I was paying. TIP? Keep your store clean and people will come back. I can not believe there was a tip jar. I will never ever come back to this place. They have signs posted everywhere requesting a mask to be served. I walked in with a mask and my son had a mask. My wife did not. However, she did not enter the establishment. The girls behind the counter refused to serve us. We obeyed the rules . She ran to the back and refused to serve us. I continued to make my ice cream for my son. She refused to come out. My wife put her mask on, knocked on the door, the girl was in the back, in the corner scared and talking to the manager. This teenager has no idea what she is doing. The manager fixed it and paid for the ice cream. The matter that makes me mad is this "child" refused to serve me and my family and we followed the stupid mask rule. She should be fired. I love this place. My daughter always goes here and I decided to get yogurt too.... We walked in and got our yogurt. The lady in front of us gave us the rest of her gift card because she said she wouldn't need it. I was very thankful, the cashier working that day saw what she did and signed me up with my number which gives you $1.00 off.. She then said our total was $1.00... And that she saw what that lady did and wanted to pay it forward and take care of that. I told her that was OK... I could definitely pay the $1.00... She refused. This was a surprising experience and I'm very thankful. The staff in this establishment are very nice and helpful. It's always clean and there is an array of flavors. I happen to like the more sour and tart flavors and my daughter likes to keep it sweet and we both always get something we like. read more

I want to share my store here about an experience that happen a few years ago in May 2013 here: I would like to complain about the Mesa location on Brown Road and Gilbert Road. I have been going to the location for well over a year for the Wacky Wednesday Pajama Night with my family and friends (total of seven). For the past year I have been wearing the same base attire; an old t-shirt and shorts. What else do men realistically sleep in? About a month ago I was there for our family tradition of PJs and ice cream (yogurt) after dance classes. Everyone was loaded up and ready to eat. We go to pay and the manager (Billy D.) looks at me all pissed off and said "How many time have I told you that basketball shorts do not count as PJs?" I said "None." He then says with a very annoyed look, "I will let you slide this time, but this is the last time." I said, "This is what I sleep in!" I then asked what do men sleep in? He had no answer, but a vague PJs. I can understand if I was some punk teenager that just showed up with some friends looking for a discount. However, I had been going there to the same location for over a year. It has now been over a month since the manager was rude to my family. I REFUSE to support a local business that has such "Soup-Nazi" style of management. Yogurt store are a dime a dozen and there are a ton who are not so anal about a promotion to get people in the store to push sells. It is a shame too because it was my neighborhood yogurt store. I would rather dive out of my way too enjoy some yogurt than deal with that manager. A manager should not be so narrow minded that he misses the overall big picture. I was a repeat weekly customer who will now not return. DO NOT SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL ZOYO! --------------- Now it is June 2017 and I have not been back since. That manager cost that location a lot of lost revenue as I was going there each week. I am sharing this to show how a bad employee can cost your business. And on the flip side a good employee can bring you good business. read more

Zoyo may soon become my new favorite frozen yogurt stop! Just made my first visit to Zoyo on Saturday (7/28/2013). I was pleasantly surprised to find such a variety of frozen yogurt flavors and, not forgetting to mention, nutritional information for each! I chose the standard vanilla flavor and added just a few toppings, including fresh fruit. There's a wide selection of toppings and syrups available, even sugar-free. Zoyo is self serve. You select the frozen yogurt flavor and dispense the serving desired. You can also mix two flavors together at the same time or dispense a serving of one flavor, then another. Next stop is the topping and syrup station. Once you're ready to start eating, stop by the cashier to have your treat weighed and pay (cash or credit/debit cards accepted). I've given Zoyo a 4-star rating for now as I was disappointed that a smaller serving container for an individual serving size was not available (and not sure if one usually is). The smallest container available holds approximately 1 1/2 cups of frozen yogurt - 3 times the recommended serving found on the nutritional placard for my chosen flavor. Note: Should I find on my next visit that smaller containers ARE actually available, I will revise my review asap. read more

I went to this yogurt spot a few nights ago. It was 45 minutes until their closing time, and they had already put several of the yogurt machines away including my favorites. I decided to just go with vanilla and went to the toppings. I was extremely disappointed to see that the fruit selection was so bare. There were a few berries and a bunch of empty containers. I asked the employee if they could bring out more strawberries or any other fruit. The employee very rudely told me that maybe if I had come 2 hours earlier he would bring some more fruit out, but not that close to his shift end. There were many other disappointed yogurt buying fruit lovers behind me who also complained with the same rude response from the employee. I checked out and paid with cash.
