I'm glad I can come to goals and play soccer with 10 other guys not wearing mask or social distancing. But yet the park in general, baseball fields or batting cages aren't open due to covid They've got park rangers driving around the park and will kick you out, if you are trying to relax at the park. What a joke. Come and have practice with your soccer team for only $115 for an hour. If it doesn't bring revenue to the city it won't be open. But since this place is overcharging and bring some type of revenue for the city it's ok to be open. read more

Barely a warning so you're already playing with a man up. They used to check for shinguards and now they let you play with literally anything on. Pros: great facility. CONS: over priced. Before I paid $66 for a rental field, and out of nowhere it escalated to $100. League games are $132 for 40mins of playing time. Pick up games used to be $5 and now it's $10. Yet we pay for league games and at the end of league, winners get only medals? When we pay $132 every game and that's all the Champions from the leagues get? Rude staff. Out of all the refs there's only maybe one who actually refs. I used to play soccer from back in the years when I used to live in Florida. So when my kid's class had a field trip here, I said, "sure, we'll be there! " And Yes, I do drive a minivan! Unite! Soccer Dads! Upon coming here, you noticed the big parking lot. Not a lot of shade from the trees so make sure you cover with a sun visor or your car can be so hot it can fry an egg! Upon the entrance, you can see a lady checking you in on the left. There is a small dining and waiting area with two TVs. Down the hall are the bathrooms just past the little retail shop. The food shop has $5 lunch specials as well. The kids that came with us paid $6 for chicken quesadilla and some one on one time (literally one person) for play. I had no problems with the one person that are training the kids (It was a 40 minute session with 15 kids) but the lady who brought out the quesadilla was so in a rush, she had prepared the food early and just left it out. Sorry, I wasn't too impressed with this. As you walk out , there are some nicely fenced in soccer fields. But the fields have a lot of trimmed, cut, wet grass. So basically you'll leave with the gift of cut grass on your legs, your socks, and your shoes. Besides these little things, this place is pretty nice for kids to learn. It's not a huge place so don't expect top of the line facility. However, it has everything you'll need to go from Joe Soccer player to a wanna be Beckham, Rinaldo, or Messi. read more

Was invited to play soccer here last night. I was really impressed with the facilities. The bathrooms and changing rooms were large, and most importantly, they were clean. I'm not sure how many fields there were, but they're all cleverly named after famous soccer stadiums around the world. There's also a snack shop that sells food and drinks. The fields are all turf, but they're much smaller than regulation size. I think the purpose is for 5v5 games and the smaller goals reflect that as well. The fields are all caged in which gives it a pretty cool feel and netting to prevent balls from going out of bounds. My only gripe is the price to rent a field. At approximately $90-100 an hour, it's almost better to just play pick-up soccer in a park somewhere or to join an actual recreational soccer league. read more

I had always thought I can certainly do without a gym membership by doing alternative things that are fun. Soccer happens to be one of the things I've found to do and with a group of guys, this has been the most challenging thing yet fun at the same time. Before last year, I've kicked a soccer ball but I've never really played soccer like everyone as a kid in AYSO or wherever people play. I've seen a few girls play but so far we only have guys. We have gotten so wrapped up with soccer, we decided to join the Thursday league 7-man team. I'm not saying we are any good but I do get to run around like a mad man chasing a black and white round ball. Paying league fees, I've probably have purchased 4 or 5 gym memberships for the next 3 years. I may be grossly exaggerating but at least 1 membership for sure. Switching last year from Dodgeball to soccer was certainly a game changer and my cardio has certainly changed because of this sport I have grown to love. It's gotten more frequent as to play pick-up games similar to basketball when you go to the park to see if you can jump into games. Are you wanting to kick a ball around and get a little exercise in? Want to join us here on Tuesdays and run around with us? More the merrier especially with friends. Let me start off by saying, thank you to the City of South Gate, finally they allow something to come into the city that is not a discount store. Goals was built on the site of my old elementary school, Tweedy Elementary, i swung by to see what all the commotion was about when it was completed. I ended up joining the Sunday league never having played at a competitive level in my life. The atmosphere is that welcoming, whether you are a amateur or pro, the facility offers so much it truly makes you feel awesome. From locker rooms with showers to the on site store for equipment, balls, jerseys. Its a one stop shop for everything futbol. 11 fields all lit, one is slightly bigger where you can get an 7v7 ;match going, we have done 8v8 on it. Bleachers for spectators, family friends, that do not play. Best part is when you are done playing Goleador restaurant offers much more than drinks and smoothies. Their tri tip sandwich is tasty, as well as the tortas, pizza, burgers and salads. You eat a meal, not a snack. I lost count of all the TVs they have but always a soccer, football, or basketball game showing. They have nice party packages, (i plan to have mine there..........im 25 hahahaha) If you haven't checked it out please as with any other place, you be the judge. read more

BouT Time!!! This is theee most fascinating new sports center in LA and it is looooong overdue. I have been here about 5 times since the June 1st opening. the place is really hoppin between 430 and 930pm. There are 11 soccer fields. Take 4-5 of your friends and play against other teams. If you don't feel like playing it's fun to watch from the mini bleachers they have set up and cheer on teams that look the coolest!! The Executive Chef-Jason Du Mah makes the best food. (yes there is a mini restaurant in side) I love eating Al-Fresco, on the deck and watching people play. There are also several Projection Tv's and Big Screens and Private Lounges to watch world soccer games!! This place is an absolute MUST -especially if your an athlete. You have to go at least ONCE and say you've been!!!! Very KEWL! I'm a FAN!! read more

My hiding spot on Wednesday's. The location has ample parking. The entrance needs a bit more lightning. The front is clean and the store is nice but they need to add female items to sell. Nice location for soccer parties. The music in the tunnel can get annoying but the 1st walk in gets you ready and pumped to start playing. I play in the Wednesday league here, and it is an awesome facility. The staff is extremely helpful and professional, and the fields are very well maintained. If you don't want to joing a league, you can play on the fields (which by the way there is 11 of them), for a reasonable price. There is a store where you can buy soccer jersey's, cleats and apparel. You can also grab a bite at the cafe while you watch a game on one of their 5 tv's inside the eating area. I definitely recommend coming out here with a group to sign up for a league, or to just kill an afternoon playing a few games. read more

This place is amazing!!! If you are looking to celebrate your little ones birthday, this is the place to go. Attentive staff that accommodates you with everything you need to have a succesful event. I just celebrated my little one 9 year birthday and he had a blast with his friends at the field and the private room that got set up for the kids and guests. The staff was very prompt to answer any of my questions and provided me with different options. Great follow up process from the management as well. Juan the assistant manager made sure we were good throughout the whole process from booking the event all the way through the end of the event. They really made the process very smooth for us. I will definitely recommended it and will be back to celebrate any event we may have in the future with my kids and for his soccer team read more

I recently booked a soccer party for my son's birthday and I was very pleased with the outcome. I was fortunate to have dealt with Laura at Goals Soccer Center who was very helpful, informative, and attentive to our party during the event. My party packaged included pizzas and pitchers of soda which was provided by Nano's Cafe inside the center. I was bummed that the cafe closed early that day so my pizzas were brought out early and eventually cooled down by the time the boys ate but it was not a big deal. Who hasn't eaten cold pizza? Prices were reasonable and guests had a blast! Overall, I give Laura and Goals Soccer Center five stars for helping me grant my son's birthday wish on a short notice and for the excellent customer service! read more

This guy in the front desk tells us that the price is $10 when we have always paid $5 for 2 years which makes no sense when he tells us that it's always been that way?! To top it off not only is be charging us a ridiculous price to play soccer but he is extremely rude with a big ego because he apparently just got promoted to management. I will only state that the center itself, is great! Joe, personally always gave my friends and I, much help! Despite all that, I can say that I do not suggest particular staff members. The last time I visited I was told I would have to pay 10 dollars when all of us have been paying 5! Paying the ten was not an issue because it is their business, and the charge is valid. Rather than that, the guys altered ego was very unpleasant as if he didn't care about our business. Personally, I don't think he should have an attitude of such sort, because he, in a sense, represents goals! The place needs an entire crew like the ones that are always interested in our business! This place was awesome before they decided to get greedy and up the prices. The prices already weren't cheap (65 for an hour on a Saturday) and they bumped them up to 90 bucks. Word of advice, less people will come with you increasing your prices. Aside from that, the fields are very good and it's rather easy to get a field. Staff is friendly and flexible and the little food bar helps after a good soccer game. I would have gave this place 5 stars but the whole price increase has me and several friends looking at different places to play instead of here now. read more

After scheduling a session, management harassed us incessantly saying that we scheduled another session, and asked us for payment for a session that we did not reserve or attend. We attend once a year for my birthday, and they insisted that we scheduled another session and did not show up. After emails, letters and calls, they sent us to collections. GOALS management was rude and extremely dismissive via emails. Even when we explained to them that we attended the Route 91 concert on the weekend that they claimed that we scheduled the session, they were nonchalant about our explanation. We emailed copies of our Ticketmaster order confirmation and our hotel folio to show them that we were Route 91 survivors, but no documentation helped our cause, and they kept demanding the session fee. The collections office was very understanding and not pushy at all, and we knew that they were simply hired by GOALS. After numerous communications and months of disputes, we paid the soccer center to stop the harassment. Your establishment is such a disappointment to society. read more

Nice outdoor facilities for soccer, several tv's inside to watch games, small gift shop for jerseys and other sports merchandise. Sadly however i had an incident where i purchased a jacket there and had the item charged multiple times to my debit card, had to clear it all up with my bank afterwards. After a spending some more time at Goals and getting to know the staff there a little better I wanted to write an update to my first review. For starters, I definitely appreciate them taking the time to reach out to me to get some more info on why were disappointed the first time around. They listened to what we had to say and were receptive to the feedback. Looking back, the biggest issue we had with the tournaments had been the inconsistency with the officiating from field to field. Totally understanding that officials will miss calls, and also that no matter what call is/isn't made at least one team will get upset, but the main issue we had was different officials going by a different rule set in the same tournament. Now that I understand a bit more of their normal day-to-day rules and why there can be some confusion for the refs for some specific tournaments that may have slightly different rules, I can see where things can get mixed up. Like any league, we've had some really good refs and some pretty poor ones, but I appreciate the efforts I've seen the Goals team make to address issues as they arose. So that being said, in terms of the staff and the fields on the other hand we've had increasingly positive experiences with them which is why I wanted to come back here and update my initial review. read more
