Grant Rea batting cages in Montebello, CA

Decent batting cage, nothing fancy but gets the job done to hit some balls. Ibby was the gentleman working at the batting cage, he was nice and answered all my questions.

Great smaller batting cage located in the back of the public park near the horse stables. One of the only cages with 80-90 mph pitch as well as slow softball - pay in increments of 15 mins or discounted hours. Nice friendly staff. Plenty of park parking.

    Batting cages!

I've been to this park several times and had never seen batting cages. Turns out they are tucked in the back near the barn yard! My boyfriend comes here frequently and had recommended it. I figured there would be a long wait since the park was packed on a Friday night. There was no line and we got it to ourselves. They have 5 cages for different speeds and they also provide bats and helmets. I would recommend bringing along batting gloves. They sell slots of time in 15 minute increments I believe. I had fun! Can't wait to go back.

Not a very nice place. Very basic. They give you a bat and gloves but not the best quality.

My husband was standing in line waiting for the cashier when the individual who identified himself as the manager (and stated it was his business) approached from behind. Instead of saying "excuse me," he pushed his hand in front of my husband's face and physically bumped into him to move past. My husband had no idea anyone was behind him and was caught off guard by the contact. When my husband calmly said something along the lines of "relax," the situation escalated unnecessarily. The manager became loud and confrontational in front of other customers, stepped into my husband's personal space, and made statements such as, "What's up then, you ain't going to do shit," clearly attempting to provoke a physical reaction. The interaction was aggressive, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate especially from someone representing the business. Ultimately, my husband was asked to leave, despite the fact that the situation began because the MANAGER chose to handle a simple moment without basic courtesy. No customer should feel threatened or publicly antagonized for standing in line. Professionalism and basic respect go a long way, and unfortunately, we did not experience either here.

Horrible customer service. Very rude. Machines suck anyways, half of the pitches are balls. Do not…read morecome!

Now at 13U, he's hitting .480 and one of the best hitters on his team. I can't say enough good things about our experience. It's a no nonsense facility, extremely busy and you see everyone putting in the work. From Manny Jr. , Manny Sr., to Kristina, everyone working there is so nice. Manny Jr. is really good about finding an age appropriate approach that will work for your child. He is direct, he doesn't coddle, and yet he builds confidence in a way my son really believed he could be a hitter. Even now at 13, whenever he has a big day, he can't wait to share it with Manny Jr....and when he has a rough day at the plate, he will ask to see Manny. There's no substitute for when your child has a hitting coach they trust. They discuss mechanics, game situations, and the importance of school because wanting to play baseball in college can't happen without good grades. I can't recommend the facility enough. If you are serious about committing to your child getting better in baseball or softball, Triple Play is a great place to start.

The place has been around quite some time and kids do tend to make a mess, but they keep up after it. Parking is for a fee, but sometimes you get a game card that comes with the parking. It can get crowded in the summer and on weekends. We go on week days and have been several times. Now, the prices in here add up fast so be mindful of that, but it is the same as other similar places. Miniature golf is about 16$, a go kart is about 12$, the arcade can really add up so get a card that you can use for the wide variety of games they have. The bumper boats and Disk Thrill Ride are about 12$ per person. We love their little train and that is about 5$. You can get a two hour wrist band and we do that and save a lot that way. All in all the prices are fair. The service there is nice and the place has a lot to offer, you don't have to do it all. There is a lot to do. They also have Birthday Parties there and that is great. It is super fun.
