We had this delivered, and it was delicious! Ordered three different platters and hummus, but ate it family style. Gyro platter was very good, just a tad dry. Moussaka platter was excellent! Lamb Souvlaki was a favorite from our group. I especially enjoyed the hummus! The potatoes that come with the platters are so tasty, and the rice was good too. Yum yum yum! Our favorite dish here is the greek salad with chicken or lamb kabobs. The chicken pita is also amazing. The tzsiki sauce is made in house and they will gladly give you as much as you want. I just wish they put pepperchini's in their salad, that's all they're missing! We've only gotten our food to-go, and somewhat close to their closing time. Everyone is always friendly and accommodating even towards the end of the night. The inside is just tables and folding chairs, so not the most comfortable, but will do if you're here for a short period of time. Recommend this place to anyone looking for Greek food. Z's Greek has been around for years and never disappoints. Whether you're eating in or sliding through the drive thru, the service here is always quick. The ambiance is simple, but neat and clean. The food is consistently tasty and the portions are large. A platter meal can easily fill your belly and have leftovers for another meal. My only concern with the Chicken Souvlaki was that it was a bit dry. The rice, roasted potatoes, Greek side salad, pita drink were all great. The avgolemono is a simple version, but bursting with flavor. You get all of the acid of the lemon but with plenty of protein umami. The Greek salad is perfect. I get the basic dressing without mayo. They serve proper pita instead of the dry, stale kind. For being a casual counter-service place, the service is notable. They're friendly and well-trained. Knowing how many times this style meat is taken in and out of the fridge and reheated at less than busy places, I wasn't willing to take the chances on the amount of bacteria that might've been in this. If the meat was fresh, it would've been an amazing sandwich, but you can see from the pictures that 90% of the meat on my sandwich was old, dried, and tough to even chew. This was my favorite Greek restaurant in town, but I had a bad experience today. I went through the drive through and ordered the chicken pita combo as usual. For some reason, they always omit the peperoncini peppers from the Greek side salad unless you make a special request, but they don't usually charge for them. They seemed to add an extra fee, even though they are listed in the ingredients list. The Greek salad was good as usual, but the chicken pita was extremely bad, because the chicken was still raw. I have never experienced this before at this restaurant, but it was very disappointing to drive 30 minutes to this restaurant, get overcharged, and have my entire dinner messed up because of the meat being undercooked.
