    Gyro Pita
    Gayl B.

I had a take out gyro pita that was quite tasty. With a takeout, I received a very small container of tzatziki. So if you are like me and want plenty, order an extra side of it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Can't really comment on the ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was good as the gyro was well packaged and stayed warm until I got home.

Visited 1/12/25. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Walked into a pretty small building with a nice front patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was a few people sitting and eating and another in line. As I walked up to the counter, I was greeted by a smiling cashier Ana. She was very kind and helpful! Gyro was yummmmy! Great first experience !

Meh. Having had Nino's a couple times now, I can honestly say it's bland imo. The fries are the best part because they're really crispy. Hummus was not for me - tasted like just straight tahini. Tzatziki was okay, lacked acid and garlic and was watery. Gyro meat was super dry and also bland. Greek salad was okay but didn't have enough toppings for the price. Also thought the dressing was bland. Delivery was incredibly quick though! And they had a deal on door dash for 'happy hour' that made it more affordable (even tho DD prices are insane).

Amazing food and even better service! Prices are super reasonable and the servings are huge. Fries are always crispy, if you want some good gyro this is the spot

Tried Nino's Greek Cafe in Phoenix for a casual dinner and was impressed with the quality and value of the meal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This restaurant is more of a takeout spot but we enjoyed a seat on the patio to take in the good weather.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We both ordered a Gyro Pita Combo that came with choice of a salad or fries and a medium drink. The gyro was meat-forward and a little limited on sauce but overall a robust meal for a fair price. The fries were a nice addition. I'd definitely try this spot out again- but maybe as a takeout order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While the patio was nice, there was a stray cat that kept approaching us a little too close for comfort.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was quick and friendly.

Nino's Greek, so good and simple. chicken shawarma...flavorful, and great with their garlic sauce. The fries are crispy, hot, and super satisfying. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a casual spot with good vibes and food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Solid place for a quick, delicious bite. I ride my bike here.

Very yummy. Came in on mid-day on Saturday. Only two other people there. Got the Gyro and my SO got the Chichen. Both where very flavorful. Chicken was a tad overcooked. Fries were very crunchy and fresh. I had a side salad that was really good but just too much dressing for me. I recommend getting the dressing on the side. Yum.

Ordered delivery for lunch yesterday, I had the Gyro combo with fries. The gyro was huge! Plenty of meat and a good mix of veggies. The fries were crispy and hot even with delivery which was amazing. I will def order from here again.

The cutest little casual, authentic, and delicious neighborhood Greek cafe! Their menu is perfect offering a range of things depending on how hungry you are. They are reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. I loved their lamb skewer platter and the spanikopita! The lamb was charred to perfection and pair that with the pita, Tzaziki sauce and rice.. it'll leave you coming back for more. I like the platter because you got everything- salad, fries, rice, pita. Their Greek gyro cheesesteak was also tasty! Juliette, who took our order, was so friendly and I loved her recommendations! She also brought out our food and made sure we had everything we needed. The ambiance is very casual and had some indoor seating as well as a patio.

In fact, I ordered yesterday for the first time since the pandemic started, and the food and experience was exactly as I remembered it. It was healthy, tasty, reasonably priced, and served with great care from genuine staff members. In fact, at a college campus where many of the programs are health-related programs and the popular is rather health-conscious, having Bowl of Greens Fine Salads there is welcome by students, staff, and faculty alike. There is a nice little seating area along with quick service for to-go orders if you wish to take your order outside or back to your office or elsewhere on campus. That's what I did yesterday as I had a meeting coming up but using Zoom. I found myself about third or fourth in line, and I got to place my order rather quickly, and surprisingly my order was ready after only a few minutes. When I paid, the cashier was building rapport with me and asked if I was an ASU student, staff, or faculty (as there was an ASU discount if so). In addition to many of us ordering our orders in-person, you could also order through the ordering kiosk or through the website. Their menu includes create-a-salad, breakfast, entrees, smoothies/juices, sandwiches, signature salads, and taste of Italy. There really is something for everyone. I ordered a Chicken Caesar Pita Wrap with Pita Chips, and while the chips were crispy, the chicken and Caesar dressing were fresh. I enjoyed the wrap and snacked on the chips the rest of the afternoon. There are so many other items I could see myself ordering and being happy with. Speaking of the website, you can visit https://www.bowlofgreensfinesalads.com and read testimonials, learn more about the restaurant, see the menu, and order a meal online. The restaurant prides itself on offering catering, curbside, call ahead, or delivery. I recall once upon a time where coupons and a loyalty program were both offered, but other than the discount, I'm not sure that either are offered any more. I'll have to go back and visit again soon and inquire about that.

I especially loved the little side salad that came with it that I wasn't expecting. The French dip itself was savory, tender, flavorful and the horseradish added the perfect "kick" to the wrap. I'd definitely order it again but there were also so many other things that I'd try on the menu! That location is close to a place I go to frequently, so this is another option for me if I should need some food and don't want to do Salad & Go, but want something healthy. I got an Asian Grilled Burrito with Wild Salmon. Was driving so a bowl I could not do. I could barely eat the burrito driving because it's sort of flat and had rice. It was very yummy. Something I learned was Angie's does not have straws and if you order a Refresher, they give you a packet of something to put in the cup. You have to figure out how to make the Refresher, which I saw at the soda fountain dispenser there was sparkling water, so I did that and some Vanilla Torino's. I went about 11 am, and the Torino's were nearly gone and the little table that it was on was fairly unclean. The area to order, where you pickup the order, the soda area, and the metal table by the soda area were all really close and crowded. Since this was my first time there, I didn't even understand that you had to order at some kiosk. They had one by the pickup area and 2 more on the east wall. Felt overwhelming for me. I did not see what the dining area looked like. My burrito was $11-12 and the Refresher was $2. My daughter said their prices were much better than Salad and Go and other places, but I found my meal similar. Oh, I guess the getting wild salmon was the costly thing. Had I gotten chicken, it would've been much less. My daughter said she's never had their burritos, only their salads. A lady that had ordered many times there did help me with some things I didn't understand and she said she loves their food. Turns out the owner of Angie's named the places after his mom who passed away about 5 yrs ago. He also started Salad and Go and this is upscale from Salad and Go. I'm glad this is an option. But maybe they can keep prices good is to cut on the things that don't really matter as much and focus on the food. I'm good with that. The next time I go to an Angie's, I will be better prepared. There isn't one too close to me like there are lots of Salad and Go's, so I hope they open some in Gilbert, Mesa, and Scottsdale. Oh, parking is not that great at this location. You basically need to be heading east on Thomas before 1st Ave as there are a few parking spots on the diagonal. Don't park in the First Watch parking lot. If you're coming west on Thomas, make a u-turn after you pass 1st Ave.
