The service by itself warranted a great score from me. Very pleasant staff. Had a side Caesar salad and added anchovies (do it!) and the Calabrian. Salad was near perfect. Pie was tasty yet soggy on the bottom for a freshly served pie. Extra points for service. Go early at opening as the room fills up fast.

We came here on Sunday afternoon. There was a parking lot behind the restaurant. There was a little line and wait. They had a waiting area outside. We waited about 10 minutes. Fun fact: the outside garden is fresh produce they use in their dishes. We were seated and got our food. We shared a large margarita pizza. We also shared a burrata tomato appetizer. The food was so good. I loved the pizza and thin crust.

Was not expecting the margarita pizza to look like this but it was still yummy. The parlor burger was juicy and filling. Our server was so nice and friendly. I love the dark vibe this place has. Lots of seating inside and at the patio.

This place is awesome!! Highly recommend, everything here was great!! I came on a Tuesday with friends and it was pretty busy. I'm not sure if they take reservations. Since I met my friends there, they already had seats so I'm not sure how long they waited. There is a parking lot! The ambiance is moody and dark, a fire place and bar area too. I decided to try the Cab blend wine and also ordered the Autunalle pizza. It was AMAZING, I LOVED the sweet potatoe ricotta and fig. The entire pizza was just superb. The wine was great too! Definitely recommend this spot!

My husband and I have a knack for wandering into random pizza places without a reservation, grabbing 2 seats at the bar, and proceeding to have the best pizza of our lives (ok, I lied. This has only happened one other time...in Lancaster, PA). The Parlor exceeded expectations on many fronts. We came here after a fine day in Sedona last weekend and started with the Sloe & Steady and ...at this point I forget what hubs had, but both were unique and very good. The bar had 4-5 very rambunctious humans which was fine, but altered the vibe a little. Our bartender was awesome, friendly, prompt and helpful. I got the autunalle pizza and it was hands down one of the top 5 pizzas I've ever eaten. The flavors (the sweet potato ricotta was mind-blowing), the cook-to-perfection...I didn't want it to end! Hubs had the margherita and added pepperoni which was also fantastic. He got the slice of chocolate cake and honestly that was a pretty big disappointment. But, the homemade cream/icing was pretty ok. Should have opted for the tiramisu. Highly recommend a visit to the Parlor (but grab a reservation!)

I think this was my 5th or 6th time coming here in the past year, and each time is such a wonderful dining experience. I love the food, love the service, love the atmosphere. Apart from the food already being very good (specifically the Diavolina pizza....oh my god, perfection!), the restaurant layout, aesthetic, and ambiance is what really sets this place apart. Its casual, yet elevated vibe is perfect for a date night setting, or even just a nice family night out. Highly recommend trying it out if you haven't already, and as far as food recommendations go: obviously the Diavolina, but also try the Pappardelle pasta and Funghi pizza. Both winners in my book!

It's been awhile since I was last here and previously I wasn't exactly impressed. This time was a much different and better experience. Autumn our server was friendly, and attentive and informed on the menu. All the staff were attentive and pleasant to interact with. A very vibrant but also intimate setting with a bar area adjacent to the dining room. Finally and arguably most important part the food was fantastic. I had The Parlor burger, medium well, and it did not disappoint at all. My friends had the Fritos misto and the Salsiccia pizza. For dessert we shared the banana trifle and it was very flavorful and fresh, but also light, and a nice hint of salt. At the end I spoke with Arianna one of the managers on duty to let them know what a great experience we had. I would definitely go back and recommend it.

Would give 6 stars if I could! Start to finish, great service, great food, great vibes. Zero complaints, everything was standout. Pizza and pasta were delicious, the garden crudite board was next level with most things thoughtfully roasted and two delicious dips, could have been a full on meal in and of itself. Only regret is not ordering more pizza to go and have for later. See photos! Love the concrete block motif carried throughout, from the original facade through to block pattern stamps on the walls and receipt clipboards.

Our dinner at the Parlor was fantastic. The weather allowed us to sit in the patio and enjoy our meal. Our server was wonderful and attentive, all staff seemed very friendly. We tried the golden beet salad and loved it. It was light and full of flavor. The roasted cauliflower was yummy, enjoyed with the crispy buttery bread it came it. I would add the Calabrian chili next time. We tried the funghi and the spicy Florentine pizzas. Both were cooked to perfection with crispy crust. I am obsessed with the spicy Florentine!! It has such a great amount of flavor and I really liked the bread crumbs on it. Overall a wonderful spot for a dinner date! They do have happy hour which offers $2 off apps and pizzas (and other things I can't remember). Definitely will be back soon!!

I love this place. Had lunch here on Sunday with my oldest. We shared the Caesar salad, autunelle pizza (sad to report it's now retired for the season - spring/summer variation up next), and both banana trifle and chocolate cake to wrap things up because why not. The salad was good, the pizza was delicious, the desserts sublime. Love the green tea from local provider Passport Coffee &Tea. Our server was excellent, professional and had great timing. The restaurant slowly filled in and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I wouldn't mind some additional pasta options that perhaps included cacio e pepe or a carbonara, but that's specific to me and not a gripe with the restaurant We'll be back!

Stopped in for dinner/happy hour before a movie on a Friday night. The place was packed but thankfully we were able to get a table inside for 2 no problem! Our server was incredibly friendly and prompt. We each got a few beers/glasses of wine off the happy hour menu. I enjoyed the Tempranillo they have on the menu. The appetizers we got were great. You have to get the noble bread to get with the burrata! The calamari was not too fried which I appreciated. I loved the pizza and the pasta we got as well. I think this is a great option in the area and wish we had tried it sooner! We will definitely be coming back.

I love the parlor! I've been several times for dinner and it's always great. Most recently I got the chicken parmesan but had over the radiatori pasta per the waitresses suggestion. The pasta was perfect! I liked the chicken also but it really needed more sauce. The pizza here is always solid and I love the ambience and cute patio.

What a fantastic restaurant! A group of friends from Italy picked this spot for pizza, and I was honestly a bit hesitant--authentic pizza can be tough to come by around here. But I was completely blown away. The pizza was delightfully thin, packed with flavor, and perfectly balanced. The spicy Calabrian chilies paired beautifully with the rich salami, creating a bold yet refined taste. I was eager to try the appetizers, but the group was laser-focused on pizza--no complaints there! We did make room for dessert, though, and the tiramisu was outstanding: soft, creamy, and decadently satisfying. The gelato was absolutely wonderful and creamy!! The service was attentive, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. Already looking forward to my next visit!

My two favorite dishes that never miss are the Lasagna and the Chicken Parm. Like clockwork, it has always been impeccable. Sadly my most recent experience will likely be my last experience. I ordered the Chicken Parm and when it came out there was something missing from my plate. Instead of the usual Rigatoni Pasta with Vodka Sauce there were a couple of stale chunks of potatoes and some sorry looking asparagus spears. I asked the bartender where is the pasta. She responded that it no longer comes with pasta and that I could order some at an additional charge. It was at that moment that I knew I would never return again. Never in my entire life have I ever ordered Chicken Parm at an Italian Restaurant and not have it come with pasta. That is like ordering a hamburger and it doesn't come with a bun. Then they tell you that you are more than welcome to order a bun at an additional cost. It was like the ultimate slap in the face. I understand that businesses are under financial pressure in these tough times. I can assure you though that this restaurant does not suffer from this fate. There is simply zero excuse for this type of behavior from ownership. Their meals are already priced near the top of the market here in Scottsdale, and rightfully so as their food is top tier. But to raise prices and then remove a staple item off of the menu is asinine. Again, I really do not like writing negative reviews for businesses because I am a fellow business owner as well. However the consumer in me cannot stand for this type of treachery. I am sick and tired of paying more and getting less. This is not meant to deter others from experiencing this place. It is meant to let management that loyal customers are dissatisfied with their business practices. Finally, I am not a cheapskate either. I always tip at least 30% which is way above the average. I am not tone-deaf, I sympathize with restaurant staff and wage gaps so every little bit helps in the service industry.

We each had a wine spritzer... may I say that the very few such concoctions I've had bearing that name didn't do justice to what we were served. I've never had anything like this, a "Sgroppino" (I'm partial to strawberry!) and it was perhaps the best adult beverage I've had in a very long time. Many different nuances in a glass. Our bartender was an artist of the mixed adult beverage, a delightful individual with a warm, genuine smile and an encyclopedic knowledge of how to do his job expertly. An extra treat was that they have bottles of spicy oil on the tables, so I was able to enjoy the crusts by slathering them with the tasty oil as though they were breadsticks. On the way out, after mentioning to the bartender how good the oil was, I was gifted a couple of condiment cuplets to-go, which was a thoughtful and nice touch and sort of made up for the server who wasn't particularly warm or informative as I had to ask about the specials and whether or not all the pasta is freshly made, etc. Heck, if you have a great selling point like homemade pasta, talk it up and get us to drooling! There is a variety of seating available, including outside and at the bar--bar has an inside section as well as outside which is a nice design for the lovely weather days. However, it's unfortunate that the outdoor seating is on such a busy traffic corner, so it's not the little retreat it would otherwise be. The lunchtime music was more like happy hour music, not conducive to conversation--maybe for the cellphones-at-the -table crowd it's okay, but being near the Phoenix Art Museum and Arizona Opera, why not add to the cultural experience of the area by celebrating its Italian origins with some Italian music? Even if just added as interludes during every few pieces, it would enhance the ambiance. We had to raise our voices to carry on our conversation, but it was manageable. However, when I came back the next week with a friend with a hearing impairment, it became more problematic. She tried adjusting her hearing aids, but the thumping rhythm kept taking precedence as we tried to find a quieter corner, but it wasn't possible as it is a small space and speakers were close to each table. I felt so bad that she couldn't enjoy a meal there--we both were so looking forward to having a fresh pasta dish, but just couldn't stay. Upon leaving, I felt I should let management know why so I waited to speak to him, offering constructive criticism about the sound level but he was not the least apologetic nor said he would take it under advisement, but was completely dismissive and harrumphy as though we were annoying problems and not potential regulars with suggestions worthy of consideration. How hard would it be to have a quieter area or make a speaker accessible with volume control?
