I had an Oregon CHL many, many years ago and the…read morematerial for the legalities hasn't changed all that much, but I still learned a few things that I had either forgotten, or may have changed since I last held a valid CHL. Now I'm ready to send in all of my paperwork to get those balls rolling. If you have need of a CHL, or even desire one I would highly recommend taking your class with these folks. Some of the material may not be all that exciting to read/hear about, but they do make sure people understand the material and of course add just a little bit of levity to break up the monotony of some of the drier aspects of the information. Steve also made sure to stress the important facts, especially when it comes to firearm safety. You can never be too cautious when working with a firearm and I applaud their efforts to teach people important information. If you do decide to take one of their classes, make sure if you don't completely understand the immediate topic to ask your questions. Steve made sure to take the time to go over any questions that were asked so that the person asking the question felt they had a sufficient understanding before he moved on to the next piece of information.

I was in Tigard so I just googled ranges near me and, a few came up. After checking their website it was the perfect place to shoot my new baby. I only had an hour to shoot but, I'll definitely will back to shoot soon not later. I would highly suggest visiting their website so you are aware of the policies, regulations, and fees. Service~We were greeted immediately with a smile and, real professionalism. Being it was our first time the owner puts you on a tablets (to left by the vending machines). You start the registration, answer a few (legal) personal questions, and watch a safety video (takes about 10-15 minutes). Once that's completed you go get your target sheets, someone will explain the target pad and, how to reach a staff member (in case of emergency or questions). Also (I have my own) but, they will provided you with safety glasses, ear muffs, and safety clips for the barrel. Ambiance~The vibes are amazing (It was only 3 other people and, a private one on one instructor class). I am not sure how it is when all 9 lanes are occupied but, I like it better when it's quiet. Restroom are clean (main building and, before entering the range it's a set). It's plenty of parking but, I highly recommend coming here if you love to shoot like we do. I personally plan to take a few classes w/ Jermey (I want to be an expert shooter and, be able to draw from my holster). This beautiful shooting range has been in business for 12 years and, it so clean and very well maintained. My husband and I plan to sign up for the household membership package!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!…read more PI Services LLC is a HORRIBLE company. Megan and Mark are extremely unprofessional, have no sense of urgency, and will THREATEN you when THEY make mistakes. I paid and sent in my request to have them serve someone on 11/17/2023. Megan didn't even start to work on my file until 03/19/2024, and was finally wrapped up 04/03/2024, almost five months from my initial payment. Throughout this period, Megan missed MULTIPLE of my emails, and I had to always be the one to initiate the follow ups for new information. They then price gouged me without informing me what the payments were for, and requested yet another $40, but not until 06/07/2024. AFTER 7 MONTHS. Mark messaged me directly about this amount, and I attempted to work with them, and see if they would waive this fee, as there was another services I needed, and informed I would use them if they would work with me. Mark then ALSO missed my message, and then sent me a new message THREATENING me if I didn't pay even though he missed the email response I had already sent to him one month prior. While I do understand that the court system moves slowly, it should not have taken this amount of time for them to start the process I paid $340 for, and received such a disgusting amount of disrespect from. There are so many better companies that are out there, that will show you respect, and will actually do the work timely. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

The company has a total of 7 instructors. It was a 2hr class that he graciously went over about 30 minutes to fully brief us on what he knows are important to know as our goal was basic handling and safety. James was very thorough, pleasant and direct with his intentions of what beginners with no formal experience should know. We didn't expect the level of knowledge and hands on that we got today. We even got to do a "fitting" to ensure which type of handgun would work best for us as individuals. We recommend this company for any beginners to take as their main concern is safety and to give you the tools necessary to safely operate a handgun. Or a novice trying to scale up.
