We both also like supporting local businesses verse larger corporate companies. All of my experiences here have been great. The staff is always friendly. They help me locate exactly what I'm looking for. My fiancé recently did a exchange here and they were very accomodating. He actually ended up buying some shoes and a extra shirt. They have really awesome merchandise and skating gear. For a more detailed personal experience I would highly suggest coming here for your skate needs or just a dope pair of sneakers. Often times you'll catch a line outside of people lining up to get a limited edition pair.

Holy throwback vibes!! This place literally feels like you're walking back in time. If you used to…read morego skating when you were a child and are looking for some nostalgia this is definitely the spot to hit. We took our daughter here recently to get some wiggles out and just enjoy learning a new skill. She's only been skating a few times around our neighborhood and we thought that this would be an immersive way to get her into the hobby. Definitely check out their calendar of events and when they have good offers and deals. You're likely to score a cheaper price than regular pricing if you pay attention. They also have themed nights and exclusive school nights. You can bring your own skates but you'll need to make sure that they pass the skate check. They do have some limitations on skates you bring in to ensure that their floors don't get torn up. As a side note you'll also want to make sure you bring in identification for all adults, and leave any food or drinks that come from outside in your car. Learned both of these the hard way. They have a smaller child skating area that helps them learn before they get out onto the bigger floor. Our daughter enjoyed this so that she had a little bit of time to learn before being thrown into a large space. We did have her try out the large space after about an hour of practice. They also have a limited number of arcade games, a small cafe, and a birthday party room. Overall: A Well it is a bit dated and could use some upgrades, it brings with it all the nostalgia of my childhood so it was still a win. I would definitely come back for a visit but try again on a non weekend day when the pricing is a little bit lower.

Westside is a great local skateshop and has been in business since around 1997 which is a long time…read morein skateboarding as well as in dog years. This is their original location though they have a few others now, too, I think. They carry just about everything you'd want or need for skateboarding including a wide array of decks, trucks, wheels, and shoes including Nike SB and adidas Skateboarding. Because of their long local history, they've done colabs with a number of national brands and have some unique shirts and other products. One important note on their location: Google Maps does not show the accurate location! The actual shop is about half a mile south of where Google indicates it is but yes it is in a shopping center off US 19. Keep driving south on US 19 and look on what will be on your right if heading south for a strip mall called I think "Bradley Plaza". It has a bright blue roof and that's where Westside is.
