If you enjoy a place to shop with a political banner staring you in the face, shop here. When I told one of the employees (female, around 20 years old), that all 9 of our party left without buying anything due to the political banner, her response was "I really don't care". Don't waste your time shopping at this store. Place is a complete dump with the worse customer service and the manager of the store needs to be fired for talking down to customers, trying to belittle other people. This place is a nightmare so if you wanted to spend money and be treated like the gum stuck to the bottom of the manager and staff that has no customer service skills then this is the perfect place for you. They have adorable clothes here for women. Most of the zummies I go to have huge men's sections and tiny sections for women. I was excited to see that they have equal sections for both genders. I was looking for hoodies even though it is spring. I'm glad that this is an outlet and had buy one get one 50 percent off. I found two cute hoodies and they will be perfect for chilly mornings at work. The clothes are divided by size so it is really helpful when you are looking for something. I hate when I have to search for a size after I find a cute item and I realize they don't have it. They have a nice skate section also that my two kids like. This place is a great store with great employees. Luis is super nice and helpful. We came into the store during spring break and the poor guy had literally all of his staff call out, leaving him alone in the entire store with absolutely nutty, entitled, rude boomers. As a retail and service worker I was totally impressed with his ability to be kind and juggle everyone with a smile. Especially when the clientele would literally walk to up the desk (having a conversation on their phones and wearing sunglasses) and essentially toss items at him to put in their pile by the counter. All the while running back to the stockroom to get more sizing, running the register, and attending the dressing rooms. MAN DESERVES A RAISE. This is a "skate shop" in the Pismo Beach Premium Outlets. As the mother of a teenage boy, I am forced in to the store often. I went in today to purchase a christmas gift. The prices are ok if they are having a sale. They seem to have a selection my kids likes a lot. They have watches, shoes, hats, beanies, socks, backpacks, sunglasses, all kinds of different skate brand clothing. They have stickers, accessories, skateboards, you name it. The staff have always been friendly and helpful to me when I go in to the store. People who shop there just need to be understanding when the store is full of people, they might have to wait a couple of minutes to be helped. Me and my friends were out in Pismo and decided to go shopping on the last day. This location is way bigger than the one we have in Newark; and have more things on sale so I bought two jackets. There was a sticker on the tag that said $59 but the jacket rung up at $68. The cashier, Connor, was nice enough to ring up as $59 for me. He was super chill about it and was very helpful. Just a few minutes prior to our visit, we went to the vans outlet store to find my brother shoes. Unfortunately he is size 15 and they don't carry them. So we decided to visit Zumiez and see. We were immediately helped by one of the gentleman that works there. He was extremely helpful the whole duration, climbing the latter trying to find shoes. I've been a big fan of Zumiez for a long time and have visited many of their stores all over California and this one is easily the worst one I've been to. Staff is disorganized and under trained, store has been very messy and dirty each time I went in (was a big fan of what looked like a bloody bathing suite liner stuck to the dressing room wall too). The gentleman with the plugs (who I failed to get the name of) is great though. He was the most helpful and knowledgeable out of anyone I spoke with, though maybe he should advise his fellow coworkers to not jump-scoot tall ladders they are standing on top of just for safety's sake. I'll just take a pass on this store when I'm at the Outlets and visit other Zumiez locations. read more

I especially love how they take the time to help my son pick out clothes or accessories and give him advice on what's trending. My son also bought his skateboard from here and the guy that helped him also took the time to pick everything out with him and build it. We went in Zumiez last night, Aug 16, after receiving really poor customer service elsewhere in the Outlets... As soon as we walked through the doors at Zumiez TWO employees greeted us. I was so thankful to be acknowledged by these cheerful employees that I thanked them very much for doing so and explained that we just came from another store where we received NO customer service. They continued to greet people who came in behind us too. And the store was busy! These employees made us feel like we were truly valued and they were glad that we came in. Not only that but as we began to look around a third employee came by and asked if he could help us find anything. He helped my boyfriend locate a great pair of shoes and then looked in a few more boxes to see if there were a less expensive pair. We got what we came for... And he walked with us to the counter and rang us up. THANKS TIM. I am huge on customer service and the staff here went above to make ALL their customers feel welcome. Its a skateboard shop that I never shop in. My husband needed a new wallet and we scoured the outlets but no luck and decided to pop in here. The girls working were young and eating jack in the box and the register but as soon as we asked for helo they where very accomidating. We picked out a wallet for a great price and amazing design. The girls made it a 4 instead of a 5 simply because they werent as proffesional as they could be and the registers where an eyesore full of drink cups and empty food wrappers with trashcans overflowing all in plain view. Went there late to check out longboards with a bud, since he got his cruiser there. Upon checking out all the sweet apparel and boards, we ended up chatting with a cool dude named Connor for a while who worked there, sharing experiences and helping him out with deciding on a board he was lookin' at. Everyone in the store was friendly, even the security outside was when we were cruising around the empty parking lot at midnight. Go later in the day for visits, staff are usually chillin' at that point. Going back to get some new bearings soon. read more

Zumiez is amazing, i have been shopping here for ages and they have not disappointed me yet. The wide variety of brands and also a lot of different types of shoes, T- shirts, and pants, this place is the way to shop. unlike any other shopping place this place is just really clean and organized from boys to girls, shoes, clothes and accessories. Also no other shop has such a variety of everything. When you walk in to the shop you can smell the strong cent of new clothes. Also just walking around and see just a whole bunch of fresh clothes, the sound of the sound of people talking just having a hard time choosing what they want. When you walk around touch the clothes just feeling the great, soft and high quality material. If you are looking for a good place to shop with a lot of different thing this is the place for you and the service is just fantastic. If you just want to try on some clothes that you would want in the near future you can choose their wide variety of things.
