Being that my 5 year old is rapidly outgrowing his clothing, I figured that I could score some great deals at Carter's. When I walked into the store, I was immediately greeted by an employee by the name of Aly. I informed Aly that I was looking for clothing for a 5 year old, and she pointed me to the appropriate section. I'm used to walking into outlet stores that look like they've been hit by a typhoon. However, this particular store was well organized. As I mentioned before, my son is growing really fast and pretty tall for his age. Therefore, I was a bit indecisive when it came to selecting clothes that would fit, but still give him some extra space to grow into. Aly not only pointed me to a collection of fashionable (keyword)pants that had an adjustable waistband, but she also suggested an appropriate size based on his height. Less than ten minutes later, I had selected a couple of items and was at the register ready to be rung up. To my delight, the items I selected were 40% off the tagged price (apparently I was so excited when I walked in that I failed to notice the huge 30%-50% off sale sign). To make matters even better, I realized that I had a coupon for an additional 20% off (Carter's occasionally emails these coupons when you make a purchase)! I receive their text updates which are great ways to learn about promotions and shopping events. The amazing staff will always offer assistance and to transfer items from another location if they have it in the company inventory. They purposefully ask for your name, offer to help shop, and even provide styling support. Last weekend I went to their warehouse sale and had a blast! Karen was incredibly helpful with enhancing my work wardrobe while giving honest feedback on fit. Amber (owner) was so sweet and approachable while clearly getting her hands dirty doing inventory - which I deeply admire. Huge fan of wildflower and can recommend ANY location to any women. I suggest you seriously look at the displayed prices and make sure they are for your sizes. For example: my daughter wears a size 8. I saw a sign that said "$12 sweaters" so I took it up and rang out. It rang out for $14. I asked why and she said if I walked around I would see that 6 and up sizes are $14... it was stated on the sign but very small! Very very small compared to the "$12 sweaters". It's whatever really! And this is one of the only locations that is open for the Rocky Mountain chocolate factory, which I always have to get a caramel apple. There's tons of parking. Walking around to the different shops has a shaded covering. There are bathrooms that are air-conditioned. And maintained. Every single one of these stores is dog friendly. And some of the people in the stores give away dog treats. We will always be back whenever we visit the beach.
