The food was good! Very flavorful and tasty. The service was quick. They have a wide range of options to choose from whether for the food or drinks. Our orders just kept coming one after another! The aesthetics, vibe and place on the whole was nice too.

Dining at Zundo was a very pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is authentic and cozy, greeted by very, very friendly staff, who helped me and my gf through the menu. I started with a flight of sake, going crazy. The milkier it got, the stronger it tasted lol. The dumplings were amazing. I had to start the review with them. I ended up ordering another order of them to go again after my meal. They are a must try. Succulent, juicy and soft. The perfect texture and flavor. I ended up going with the fried chicken ramen (sorry don't know the name) it was good. I prefer the flavor of the ramen broth over the mean I've realized. I would probably go with the pork next time. Looks very pretty though. The other ingredients in the ramen were delicious and packed a lot of flavor. The chicken was a little bland and fatty. Same with the fried chicken, and the color freaked my gf out. I assured her it was fine, but some pieces had a pink hue, and that threw her off. The rice was rice, good. I make it a challenge to eat my whole meal with chopsticks so I can practice, did it once again and it really adds to the experience. Will be back soon

Definitely try the secret menu Taiyaki and ice cream, great desert. You get three options for ice cream and they are all very tasty.

This place is warm and cozy . The ramen looked good but I didn't get it so my review is not for that .. Drinks are expensive at 3.75 for soda however refills are free. I tried the gyoza - a tad expensive for 5 tiny pieces but it tasted pretty good. Had a kick of ginger I wasn't a huge fan of however. I also got the teriyaki don - it was good but I've had better. My chicken was a tad too fatty and chewy for my liking. I'd come back maybe one more time but it wasn't my favorite . The staff was very nice but left you alone they asked twice how the food was and then brought refills but otherwise left you by yourself to eat.

Excellent ramen. Also had katsu pork with wheat noodles. Pork dumplings for a starter. Definitely worth a try! So delicious. Excellent service.

The food was very good and fresh. Service was better than average. And the decor was very modern. Will definitely be back.

We came on a Saturday night. Our hostess was extremely friendly and we got our food quickly. Food was delicious and the servings are massive. The restaurant has a very cool vibe too -- dim lights and modern music. We will certainly be back.

Cutest restaurant and very cozy. Server was very pleasant. Ramen was flavorful and broth was right with my soul. The chicken bun was good but the pork belly bun was just ok. I added salt to both buns. If you love Ramen, I would recommend. It was average Ramen, possibly a bit overhyped.

Great, authentic food. Im not a huge fan of ramen but this place has changed my mind. Fresh ingredients and quality preparations. Beat ramen Ive had for sure.

    Chasu Don

I had Katsu Curry Udon with a side of white rice. My daughter had the Chasu Don and both were delicious. I've had tried other ramen restaurants and this is now my favorite. Their house made curry is a perfect blend of spices and was really good. Our server was very nice and super attentive. This place will be in my rotation now for sure!

We've been to both locations and tried three different kinds of ramen. The Tantanmen Ramen was by far our favorite. It was full of flavor and spicy bits of pork (OTR location). At the Mason location we had the Tonkatsu ramen and, I can't believe I am saying this about ramen, it lacked salt. We had to add white pepper and Nanami Togarashi spice blend to coax some flavor out of the broth. The pork gyoza are wonderful. The Mason location is a pretty hip looking place and the service was great when we went on a Wednesday for lunch.

Better than ramen I've had in San Francisco, Atlanta, Chicago or Dallas. The chili oil or sashuan oil is not as hot as I thought. Easy to eat, even if you can't tolerate much spice. Staff was super amazing. Shout out to the guy behind the bar. Rockin' beard and rockin' attitude. Easy 30-minute drive from Beaver Creek, Wright-Pat area, but so worth it.

I wasn't as surprised this time by the location in a neighborhood, something that gives it a very welcome feel and suggests with the addition of a covered outdoor porch with picnic tables that this is a good neighborhood hang. I was late for lunch, almost two but there were some folks still finishing up. Good vibe, good music and casual atmosphere. I opted for the Takoyaki app which was tasty and not so burning hot that it scorched the roof of your mouth. Also the right amount of mayonnaise as opposed to often an excess. The Ramen Flight was fun in principle but I wouldn't do it again. I unwisely and perhaps naively assumed there would be mini versions of the full serving of Tonkotsu broth with Mayo, Thai curry and Szechuan with scallions. But it really is just the broth and ramen. Expected the Szechuan to have some heat and peppery lip buzz but did not. The Thai curry was super salty. Just missed some option of veggies and protein. Finally I would suggest not sitting near the front near the stairs to the kitchen. The spot has competing music soundtracks with two different play lists battling between your two ears.

All seats at the bar were open, but we hoped to sit at a regular (not high-top) table. As it turned out there were a few options in the back. That said, it wasn't long before the place was packed. Our server Tyra was fantastic. Down to earth and helpful with recommendations. She made us feel welcome and comfortable. We started with Jumbo Ebi Shumai. Tyra asked if we wanted a fourth (the dish comes with three) so we wouldn't have to rock-paper-scissors for the third dumpling. I thought they were delicious. I loved the spicy mustard that came with them. I admit they had a slight fishy flavor. I mean it was shrimp and I enjoyed it. Mark is less of a fish fan in general. The dumplings didn't really hit the mark for him. If you like seafood and you like shrimp you should enjoy the Shumai. I opted for Tonkatsu Ramen - Ramen and thick creamy pork broth with roast pork, soft boiled egg, bamboo, wood ear mushroom, ginger and green onion. I added black garlic oil and did not go spicy at all. I thought it was very good and I ate literally every drop. Mark had Spicy Miso Ramen - Ramen and spicy creamy soybean paste pork broth with roast pork, soft boiled egg, bamboo, wood ear mushroom, and green onion. He said it was spicy, which was perfect for him. He also enjoyed his meal and finished every drop. We still had time to kill before the show so we opted for dessert. There were two options - Green Tea or Red Bean Ice Creams. Tyra recommended Red Bean and I'm glad she did. It was sweet with just the slightest crunch from the beans. It was a good size serving, hand dipped by Tyra. The proximity of Zundo to Memorial Hall or Music Hall makes it the perfect pre-show stop for dinner. We will definitely be back.
