Our soup setups ready to go!

Tried this place for take out and it did not disappoint! Soup/broth is amazing and worth the trip out. My in-laws and hubby were a big fan of the spicy and sour versions. Authentic flavors that are surprising to find in the Midwest!

The restaurant is located in a small West Chester strip mall - it is cozy and casual! The server is quick to greet and friendly. The time from ordering my dinner to the table was less than ten minutes! This is a great place if you're in a rush, for sure! Kid friendly and good for large parties - you might call ahead if you have more than eight people in your party. The food is very good - reminiscent of the small family shops in Asia. Quite a selection of appetizers and entrees - you can't go wrong with this place.

Right when I walked in, I felt so cozy! The interior is very soothing and I didn't mind waiting for my friends inside. I was craving some soup and this hit the spot. The broth was delicious and I love how you have the option to prepare your bowl yourself! We also got a couple appetizers. I would definitely recommend getting the smacked cucumbers and the golden buns were so soft and warm!

We've been on the hunt for a new spot to eat, and I'm so glad we found this one. The cucumber salad and calamari quickly became our favorites. Service was great, prices were very reasonable, and the space was clean and well-lit. It even reminded me of some of the restaurants I visited in Japan. A hidden gem -- definitely adding this to our go-to list!

Came here late one afternoon on my way back to Dayton from Cincinnati. Didn't realize there was this whole area and they had some really good food. The people that come and eat here know what is authentic for sure. The menu is in both English and Chinese so you know it's catering to the right population. I ordered a spicy soup and it was actually spicy but delicious. I also ordered the fried oysters as an appetizer and they were very crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside exactly what I wanted. The server was the owner of the restaurant and she was super nice and super helpful. I would definitely come back here because it's so calm at the food is delicious.

Restaurant was nice and clean inside. Gyoza was yummy and fried perfectly. The noodle soups were okay wish they had a bit more flavor. The overall experience of dumping each individual add in was fun though.

First time trying a "hot pot." Food was really good! The teriyaki wings were fantastic. Love the crunchiness and sauce. And the service was absolutely amazing. I will be back! Thanks so much for having patience and helping choose something to eat.

Delicious and reminds me of home. While I'm not a fan of restaurants with gimmicks, I had to come in and try a Chinese soup based establishment. Didn't really care for the 10 seconds cooked dish albeit the presentation was nice. Ingredients were fresh and soup base was like how mama would cook it. I got the original cross the bridge broth with sliced beef then added two teaspoons of the chili oil on the table. Not really anything out of this world but it really hit the spot with nostalgia. 10/10 would recommend trying at least once.

What a great new hidden gem in West Chester. This new trendy take on Asian hot pot is fantastic. I love the single single serving hot pot vs large family style hot pot. Everyone can order to their own preference of favors and ingredients. The ambiance was really authentic and quant. Really liked the Asian decor. The noise level was moderate level and great for friends or family gatherings. The service was amazing. I was seated really quickly and was handed a visual menu of the items on the variety of hot pots. The menu had a great selections of hot pot to choose from based presence from spicy to non spicy. For the meat eaters to vegetarians. You can choose which broth and either cook yourself or have it All in One cooked for you. I ordered the All in One Hot pot Sliced Beef Rice Noodle readily prepared and cooked for me. It came in less ten minutes in a piping hot stone bowl. The hot pot kept my soup hot for well over 30 minutes. All my ingredients were already mixed into the hot pot. It was absolutely delicious. The spices were of sichuan style flavors which left a spicy and tangy but extremely flavorful robust taste. It had rice noodles, beef slices, seaweed, tofu, a small egg, cilantro, bean sprouts, mushrooms and bamboo shoots. I also ordered the smashed cucumbers as an appetizer and the flavors were amazing while the cucumbers remained crispy and fresh. This is a new location and although they did not have any alcohol they did have a minimal alternative drink selection. Plenty of noodles and ingredients for an individual. I highly recommend this location if you like an authentic hot pot bringing in traditional China ingredients located in West Chester. Definitely worth the time and value.

Sooooo good!!! Will definitely be a regular here. So excited to see new Asian restaurants open up in the area. The simmered chicken with chili sauce was fantastic, it's a cold dish that is well seasoned, just the right amount of spice. I got the A1 signature rice noodle in chicken bone soup - you mix in the meat, veggies, then the noodles - stir for ten seconds! Haha, and eat :). Every ingredient was super fresh and the broth was great. Excellent for this non-ending Winter weather we keep having! Swing by Tiger Sugar afterwards for dessert!

Nice rice noodle. The flavor is more like hotpot. Different varieties to choose from. Clean, neat place with warm services.

Soups were excellent and served traditionally with very fresh ingredients. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for a hot rice noodle soup with traditional Chinese ingredients.

I used to go to Dagu all the time back home, and I'm so happy I found this place here! The dishes are familiar and so tasty, I'm always in the mood for them. The smacked cucumbers are also really good here. Service is always very kind and quick, and the restaurant has nice vibes!

They offer to-go bowl, plates, and a bag to put all your stuff in. The service was quick and the workers were so diligent. When you walk into the restaurant there's music playing in the background, which isn't loud enough to disturb anyone. It's cool inside with plenty of room, from the booths to the walkways. The waitress sat us quickly, since there seemed to only be one or two other parties in the store. Overall we were pleased with the experience. I loved that they had a skewer menu, something I have not seen in the ramen shops I visited. The waitress was not terribly familar with some of the items, but was more than happy to find the answers. I was disappointed that my bamboo shoots were absent in my ramen bowl, I had the spicy tonkatsu. My daughter loved the fried agashi tofu and my husband enjoyed his spicy miso. We both agreed the noodles were quite nice, little snap to them and not too soft. Double check your bill - we had to ask for a removal of an item that never made it.

The egg rolls are homemade, and I think the lady that made them delivered it to our table. Better than PF Chang's! My husband tried the Cumin Beef, and they were kind enough enough to omit the cilantro. The smell was divine - it was spicy though! A bit surprised they didn't ask what spice level he wanted the dish? I think I ordered the Fish Fillet Delight (the online menu is slightly different than the in person menu), it was a mild sauce, almost tasted like nothing. Towards the end once or twice I tasted the ginger, other than that, very bland. I would not order this again. Lots of food on the plate though! Ordered the pumpkin pastry at the end of the meal. It did not taste like pumpkin at all. It was melting molten mochi and vaguely yellow. Would not get this again. Thankfully I ordered the Chrysanthemum tea, which was delightful. I think Great Tang has the potential to be a great hidden gem, I just need to find my go to dish. If you like spicy, try the Cumin Beef!

We fined in on a Friday afternoon and had dim sum. We shared the shrimp dumpling (ha gow), shrimp and pork dumpling (siu mai), fried shrimp balls, seafood dumpling, crepe roll with fried fritter, and custard bun. The seafood dumpling was our favorite whereas everything else was average. The siu mai had a bit of cartilage and the fried fritter was overly dense.
