Ordered take out from Ramen Hachi and we enjoyed our experience. Service was a bit slower but we ordered at peak busy time on a Friday night. We ordered Black Garlic Tonkotsu with pork and chasu buns. Both were pretty good, but I expected a bit more flavor. Overall, a pleasant takeout dinner at a reasonable price. Would order again!

I didn't expect a little ramen shop in tiny Oxford to be anything special so I was extra delighted to discover how excellent the food is at Ramen Hachi. They've really set the bar for me actually. As I try other ramen places all over, I haven't found one yet that compares. I had the black garlic tonkotsu and will likely keep getting that because it's memorably delicious. Our server was also really personable and attentive. The shop feels new, clean & inviting. Wish there was a Ramen Hachi in my city!

Amazing food and great service. Some of the best ramen I've ever had. Ambiance was amazing, it has a family-run restaurant feel

Wonderful and authentic ramen! I lived in Japan for several years and have been searching for an authentic ramen place since coming back to the states. I finally found it! The staff is friendly and attentive as well. I ate the black garlic tonkotsu and my husband (a ramen newbie) had the yuzu shio... there were no leftovers dispute the generous portions. :) Try the chashu buns, my 10 year old picky eater devoured them! We'll be back!

Dropped by the place for lunch and had no wait (also came during the January term when there are not as many students in the area). My friends ordered the gyoza and edamame to start and seemed to enjoy them especially their kids. Overall, it's pretty solid ramen spot. I ordered the Miso hungry ramen, $14, nice and flavorful, and had enough to take home for lunch again the next day. I was not used to have a huge slab of pork belly like they serve here, it was good, would've rather it cut up a bit, and maybe a few other ingredients in the soup. My friend got the black garlic ramen, and this was yummy as well. One of us was also able to order half spicy/half not spicy and really enjoyed the levels of spice in her ramen with that. The kids ordered the beef rice bowls and said that they were good. Service was fine, no issues. This is a place we will add to our lunch spots in Oxford!

Finished with a swim meet and decided to explore. Looking for something light and inexpensive. This place hit the spot. Had no issue with service and the food came out quickly. Everything tasted great and we love the cool soup spoon. If we ever come back to Oxford this will be our first stop right after swimming.

Good ramen, especially for a small town. I had the black garlic ramen and it was very good. The waiter was very friendly. No alcohol.

Nice place. Small but very clean. Seats were a mix of wooden chairs and benches. The server, I believe was also cooking our meal and cleaning. He was great and checked in on us enough. The food was pretty awesome. Not the best ramen I've ever had but the garlic broth was incredible! I. So glad I got the tonkatsu ramen. They have spicy ramen as well. The meat was good and was a large portion. The ramen egg was more sweet than I've had at other places and I really enjoyed that. The broth was just great, I ate it all. The gyoza was suuuuuper crispy and really good too.

My friend and I went on a journey to find a great Ramen Restaurant. Where we are from the best Ramen is from a family in Japan and nothing will compare, but OMG y'all this place is the best Ramen I've tried in Ohio so far. No matter how far you are from This place it is worth the drive. The Broth is the entire experience! Though I have more places to try, I would definitely come back! Be sure to try the Gyoza!

Called ahead for a party of 14 - gave them 2 day notice. When we showed up - a table was setup and ready. Service was great and the food even better! What a great time to be with family and friends - will be back.

There was just one girl at the counter taking orders and she brought the food out to us. She was very polite and helpful. They were out of several items tonight including Ramen. Not sure if that's a frequent occurrence, so maybe call ahead. Happily for me they had what I came for: Boiled dumplings, light and tender and nicely stuffed. Came with a gingery soy dipping sauce. They had dark vinegar on the tables which I love to have soak into the dumplings after piercing them. My brother's wife is from China and she clued me in to that method of enjoying dumplings. Cumin Lamb and Cumin Beef. Make sure you tell them you want it spicy. She had ours kicked up and both were great. We found the beef to be more tender than the lamb. Both had good flavor. Portion was fair for the reasonable price. Szechuan cold noodles- I ordered these to go, for tomorrow, but I took a little taste. Now the noodles are super thick, which is not my preference, but they're coated with flaming hot chili oil and garnished with plenty of thin and crispy cucumber slivers and it's gonna be just fine. The decor is eclectic, lighting is a bit steampunk, modern Chinese music is playing. Beverage choices limited, we just shared a bottle of water. I'd love to try the Ramen sometime but will definitely call ahead.

It's just more like Taco Bell where they only actually have 10 things - they just put them together differently. And they've got a lot more than 10 things, so I shouldn't compare them to Taco Bell but you know what I mean. They've got poke bowls and bento and cooked stuff too, so everybody can find something they like. I do the sushi. The quality is good. Not PREMIUM, but good enough that it's not worth complaining about. They're not slicing up a fresh tuna in front of you, but the taste and texture is good. And the servers are usually pretty cool and don't rush you and are happy to answer questions or give guidance. The atmosphere is... interesting? It's not classy, but it's not dumpy. It's in-between. Probably classy enough for college kids, and there's not much point going beyond that, because that's going to be most of their clientele. I will say that their music isn't great. Sushi places should have cool music not some country crap. Get that off of there. Do some asian elevator music if you can't find something sweet and trendy.
