Great find - thank you Yelp! Fantastic spot, big menu, accessible, and family friendly. We got here late on the July 4th holiday weekend - so happy they were open. There was live music in the back room, so we opted for a booth in the front room so we could have quiet dinner conversation. Alisha was great. She explained the menu, the Mac & cheese, and the dairy bar in the adjacent bldg. We ordered dinner and it was out quickly. Hubby had the entree of brisket & pulled pork with a side of veggies and the Mac & cheese. The Mac & Cheese is so, so good. We ordered some to take home for my son! My balsamic chicken entree was delicious - I loved the side of carrots & zucchini- very fresh & unique! Great dinner, no hesitation to come back here. And, we did have to wander over to the dairy bar and check out the ice cream too! On the way, we noticed lots of outdoor seating and maybe a little stage too. There is live music regularly! Some good food, huge beer selection, overcooked burgers. We stopped by Potters Farm to Fork at Port Byron, NY in July 2024. Reviews were somewhat mixed but mostly OK and there weren't many choices around anyway. Taking a look at the menu we were immediately impressed by an enormous beer selection. We tried Sour Summer Haze IPA and it was excellent. For appetizers we ordered Jalapeno Poppers and a cup of chili. Jalapeno Poppers came quickly, were delicious, and went well with the beer. Chili never came. We ordered burgers for entrees and based on reviews explicitly asked to make sure they were cooked medium-rare and medium. We haven't finished Jalapeno Poppers yet and the entrees came. Both beef burgers ordered were fully well-done :( I couldn't believe it. We explicitly asked to make them right and they did not. It's not a rocket science to make a right temperature burger...Oh, well. After we almost finished our meals the waiter brought the chili that was ordered as an appetizer... I tried it, it tasted more like thick tomato sauce with some chunks of meet rather than chili. The waiter apologized for the mistakes, chili was taken off the bill, and we got a 15% discount on the bill for overcooked burgers. It's nice that at least they take responsibility for the problems but I would prefer a rightly cooked burger than a discount. It's hard to recommend this restaurant based on our experience but as mentioned, there were good points too :) Hopefully, the restaurant will improve based on this other reviews. Food ordered Jalapeno Poppers - fresh and delicious. Chili - came at the end and wasn't good. Cowboy Burger - would be great if done medium as ordered. #88 Knox Burger - would be great if done medium-rare as ordered. Had an excellent experience here the other day with a co-worker for a quick lunch. We both opted to get a "garbage plate" and were very pleased with the results. The meat sauce had just enough of a kick and everything was prepared perfectly. Service was good and the restaurant was very much a farmer style joint. This place has only been open a few months, but we were finally able to stop in a check it out. We got there after all the lunch rush on a weekday afternoon and were seated immediately. It was really hard to decide what to order. I wanted to try just about everything! I was in the mood for fish though and that was on the specials board. I ordered it with the Mac 'n Cheese and my boyfriend got it with fries. We were both very pleased. The fish came in several chunks that were coated in panko and deep fried. I tried a few if his fries and they were really good. I think they may have been coated in something before frying as well. The real hit, however, was the Mac! It was delicious! Not sure how they made it, but I ate every bit and if I were at home instead of in a restaurant I would have licked the plate!! Potters also has a cool gimmick if you are from the area. The restaurant is located in Port Byron right between PB and Weedsport and these schools have had a longstanding rivalry. If you order one of the huge, stuffed baked potatoes they will donate a $1 to the school alumni association of your choice and they have a "scoreboard" to let everyone know who is ahead in the baked potato rivalry. Fun and for a good cause. I'm excited about stopping in again sometime and trying other things on their menu. As a small town local restaurant I wish them all the luck!! read more

Stopped in at the end of long day, and it was my birthday. I hadn't gotten to celebrate with family that day since we were all working on my husband's film nearby, so it was an incredible surprise when I walked in to pick up my balsamic chicken and Greek salad order to find a gluten free chocolate cake in the bakery cabinet! Been a semi-regular customer. Minor issues in the past but this visit was a nightmare. Breakfast take out. (Our wedding anniversary 7/16/2025) The omelet I ordered was greasy. Someone obviously didn't think to drain off the grease. Ordered the same prior to this and other than a little fatty it's been good. Also the toast was barely toasted and limp. Toast should be packaged separately so it doesn't get soggy. Later that day we ordered dinner for take out. Cheese curds were greasy. We've ordered these before and they weren't that way. Our main course were boneless chicken wings. Also greasy. Way to much batter coating on them in addition to them being over saturated with two types of sauce. Later that night I started to feel ill. Up in the middle of the night and all the next day getting sick from the overload of grease. Spent most of my day in the bathroom getting sick and not being able to eat or sleep. How hard is it to drain off fat and grease before serving a meal ?? We eat pretty heart healthy the majority of time. Wanted to do something different. Had no clue I'd be sick and have to pay for it the whole next day. Hope you'll correct this before someone else gets sick. read more

I'm very happy this restaurant is fairly close to my house and I like to go to local family run business. It is very cute inside and was greeted right away and my sister and I sat at a booth. Inside is decorated farm style and very cute. I had a Mac and cheese with brisket and my sister a club sandwich on sourdough bread. They both were huge portions and very good! I took more than half of mine home. I was told the pies were homemade from other reviews but today some were not. I choose the raspberry with ice cream and my sister the coconut cream. I think I'm a pie snob so I'm picky but mine was very runny and the crust was just ok. My sisters had too much whip cream and not enough filling. I would have given 5 stars but I just don't think the pies were that great. I will go back for the food and skip the pie. Totally unassuming little building on the side of the road, it may be easy to miss! Beautifully newly renovated inside, with lots of cool farm memorabilia on the walls. Huge menu with tons of deliciousness to choose from! I went with the garbage plate, it was awesome. The sauce was a smidge heavy on a fragrant spice, maybe cinnamon or allspice. The Mac and Cheese on my garbage plate was excellent (also, Mac and Cheese on a garbage plate, what?! Heck yes!) They have these gigantic one pound potatoes that you can get stuffed with a variety of options, and $1 is donated to a local school (Weedsport or Port Byron) I'll probably try that next! The appetizers are also great, we got the poutine, my friends got the jalapeño poppers, both delicious. Biggest tip I can give you: SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT! Ugh the FOMO is still stinging, I filled up on my garbage plate and totally didn't consider all of the amazing dessert offerings. Delicious breakfast! Big group of us for a birthday celebration. We were seated at a large table that accommodated all of us. Our waitress Candy was very pleasant, experienced and very efficient. The breakfasts all came out together, hot and all the special orders perfect. There were several Egg Benedict specials this morning. My husband had the Irish Benny made with sliced corned beef - looked delicious! The restaurant is updated and pleasantly decorated with photos of area farms, a large mural of the Potter Family farm. My brother and I had lunch here (his turn to buy) and we were served by a friendly waitress. The food was good, nice portions, but nothing stellar. He made some small request (can't remember what) that normally would have been free gratis about anywhere and was charged quite a bit for it. Knowing restaurants are not a 'Get rich quickly' business, I understood, but he'll never go back. It doesn't take much to ruin a reputation these days, so the better a profit margin is hidden, the better it is for all. As for the atmosphere, there were some improvements (over the previous ownership, Brenda's) but still needs more work to warrant charging extra for little incidentals. read more
