    Brown sugar boba
    Jack H.

One of the worst boba teas I've had. The sugar-to-tea ratio was completely off -- tasted like pure syrup with no tea flavor at all. The boba itself was hard and clumped together. Not sure how this place gets recommended. Management: please revisit the recipe.

Zuru Ramen Bar is hands-down one of the BEST hidden gems in Boca Raton. Every time I visit, I'm blown away by how consistently delicious everything is. If you're looking for comfort food with insane flavor, this is the spot. First of all, their fried rice is unreal. Perfect texture, perfectly seasoned, and honestly some of the best I've ever had anywhere. It's one of those dishes you take one bite of and immediately start planning your next visit. I could eat it every single day. Their boba is also incredible -- super fresh, perfectly chewy pearls, and drinks that don't taste artificial or overly sweet. You can tell they actually care about quality. It's the kind of boba that instantly hits the spot and makes you want another one on the way out. Now let's talk about the donuts... oh my God. Light, fluffy, warm, and absolutely addictive. They're the perfect end to a meal -- the kind of dessert you keep thinking about later because it was that good. And of course, their ramen is phenomenal. Rich, flavorful broth, tender noodles, and toppings that taste like they were prepped with love. Every bowl feels like a cozy hug. Whether you're into spicy, creamy, or classic broths, Zuru never misses. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and the food is consistently outstanding. If you want a spot that hits every single time, Zuru Ramen Bar is it. I recommend it to everyone -- you won't be disappointed!

What better way to celebrate the start of Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month (APIHM) than with a review for a great local Asian-owned spot! I came to this Zuru Ramen Bar in Boca Raton with a coworker to grab a bite to eat. I've been to their other location in Miramar before and was excited to try out this location. This spot is in an unsuspecting spot, in a plaza behind a gas station. There was limited parking but the space itself was intimate but with a good amount of seating, both inside and outside. You can order either at the register or at the kiosk. We decided to go to the register so we can peruse the menu a bit. We came during lunch and we ended up getting one ramen and a gyudon bowl that was on the lunch special menu. This Zuru also has a mochi spot inside of it and we were tempted to order some after our lunch. We got the classic tonkotsu and the gyudon bowl. Both were actually really good! I'm a gyudon snob so this was actually pretty good according to my standards! The ramen was also good, and I feel like that says a lot because it's not often I'm craving ramen. The inside is so cute with its decor and it feels like you're transported to a spot in Japan with a modern day twist, having bright blues and pinks. Overall, a great spot to grab some quick Japanese bites in the area!

We came here for my niece birthday. This place was cute. Definitely giving Asian vibes. The young men were nice and helpful. We were a party of 15. I got the ice coffee which was good, the coconut shrimp, veggie rice delight fun. I will definitely order those again. The Brussels sprouts were saggy. The donuts were so delicious. The parking was awful other then that I establishment was great

This place is relatively new and in a span of 2 weeks, we visited 5 times to try out as many things as possible! I loved their curry, very unique flavor. Chicken is not dry. The ramens are all very different and tasty. Tonkotsu and shoyu were my favorite so far. You order from your phone to the table and they bring the food to your table. All staff has been very friendly. I tried their donut and fell in love with it. Definitely give it a try! Super fresh and yummy

After some yelp searching we decides to visit Zuru for dinner on a Saturday. Small place part mochi donut shop part ramen spot. For dine in you order using the QR codes on the table there isn't a traditional server. We decided to get the takoyaki and ramen korean corn dog to share and I ordered black garlic ramen and he ordered spicy tonkonsu. They have a water dispenser with cups near their cutlery area. Food came out really fast. Takoyaki was delicious. Super soft and yummy. Korean corn dog was average. I would skip this. Both Ramens were great. Broth had awesome flavor and pork was cooked perfectly. Easily the best spot in Boca. The portions were generous and we left with some ramen to go. I had to also try their donuts so I got a three pack to go as well. I had never tried Mochi donuts before and they were pretty tasty and chewy. The guava was my favorite of the three I tried. We will for sure come back to Zuru when a ramen craving strikes.

Went here for lunch and had the tonkatsu ramen, which was excellent. Great flavor and noodles were excellent. Had the gyoza appetizer which was pretty good. Some of the sauce was spilled out of the sauce dish so the gyoza were slightly soggy. We would definitely go back.

Came by for the first time while and wow the ramen did not disappoint! I loved their broth and their ramen egg was delicious. I absolutely love tonkotsu ramen and this was super flavorful!! I also love that you can order via kiosk makes it so easy and convenient. Defintely will be coming back here for good vibes and delicious food.

A casual and adorable little eating spot. Found Zuru on Yelp and thought it would be a perfect place to go after work. The Ramen Bar is housed inside a donut shop. While the donuts and corn-cheese/dogs looked delicious, we came for the ramen. There are not that many tables, so you might have to wait. The inside decor is cheerful and colorful. There's parking in the lot. You can order via QR code or at the counter. We did via the link, and it did not take long for our meal so to come. We went with a fried tofu starter that came with two different dipping sauces. The tofu was not seasoned on its own, but was delicious with the sauces. My husband got the black garlic ramen. He liked the broth but said he'd go with a different one next time. As a pesco-vegetarian, I went with the yasai vegetable broth. I added a hard boiled egg and some fish cakes for an additional fee. The broth was well seasoned and the veggies and mushrooms were excellent. Never thought brussel sprouts would work well in a ramen, and I was happy to be wrong! I also got the Thai Iced Tea with boba. It was the best boba I've ever had. Not too sweet and very refreshing. We will be back, especially on a cool day, to get more ramen! Thanks.

Okay I am so happy we decided to come here. You order at either the counter or on your phone at your table via QR code. The inside is super cute with nice lighting and lots of Japanese touches. Everything came out very fast and piping hot. The garlic edamame was delicious. Super garlicky which I loved. The tofu was fried perfectly very light and tasty. I ordered the kid portion of the chicken pai tan ramen. It was huge and some of the best ramen I've had in south Florida. Very creamy and authentic. I really enjoyed the Korean corn dog. It wasn't greasy or too sweet which I usually find when getting a corn dog. The batter was crispy and perfect. One of the staff came to our table and gave us a free churro mochi donut with the purchase of our meal. Again it was perfect and not oily tasting. Absolutely loved everything from this restaurant can't wait to come back!

Came here during their soft opening. I think the food overall is pretty good. It is small but cozy. I love that it has mochinut inside the restaurant, which makes jt worth it to stop by for food! You order food in the counter or through the QR code at the table and they would bring out your food. Not exactly service but they were friendly enough.

    Korean corn dog with ramen
    Jayme M.

Someone I work with sent me an instagram reel about this place so off we went for a fun Friday night adventure. This is inside of Mochinut so for a minute we were all a bit confused and wondered if we were at the right place. You sit down at a table and scan a QR code and order from an app but the service happens very quickly. If you have questions about the menu you will need to go to the counter which some may find annoying. All of our food was very good. If you have never had a Korean corn dog you need to experience this wonder...get the half and half to enjoy an amazing cheese pull. You will be full when you leave but I suggest you stop and get a mochinut on your way out...you may not ever want a crispy creme again.

The $13 lunch Tonkatsu bowl. Epic.
    Anthony C.

When you come here, you're not eating. You're participating. Each slurp of the Tonkatsu is a flavorful sonnet. And you will slurp. It's a noisy love letter to the broth, the craftsmanship, and possibly the reckless sodium content. The noodles whisper "...arigatō" as they disappear. The experience is like wine tasting: * Aromatics? Present. * Mouthfeel? Creamy velvet with an umami kick. * Finish? Lingering pork magic and a quiet sense of spiritual fulfillment. Let the people stare. They're not ready for the level of noodle enlightenment you're in for. You didn't just eat a bowl of ramen--you hold a broth ceremony. A noodle ritual. Enjoy. Just be ready for Boca pricing. You have to specify if you want that $13 Tonkatsu lunch bowl. Otherwise it's $18. But it may have more goodies inside.

YES! YES! YES! YES AGAIN!…read more My boyfriend and I had date night last Saturday, and it was our first time dining here. The staff was really nice, the restaurant was super clean, and the ingredients were fresh. I had the spicy Taiwanese soup base. My boyfriend had the Coconut Tom Yum. We enjoyed a nice selection of different meats such as pork, lamb, and beef. Seafood options include shrimp, squid, and octopus. Quail eggs, frog legs (if you're into that :), and tofu. The conveyor belt was super fun because you could watch it as it went by and pick up whatever garnishes you wanted. Green onions, mushrooms, parsley, cilantro, cauliflower ... I could go on and on. We also had dessert. My favorite is the red bean and macha ice cream! Can't wait to go back! ***ALSO order the tea***

This place offers a set price for Hot pot and is buffets style as well as conveyor belt delivery for veggies; you just swipe what you want. You start by picking a soup of choice and then you gather the food you need, cook it yourself in the pot and there are instructions and available on the wall for cooking times. It's relatively straightforward. Be careful with how much you grab as they will charge you for any excessive leftovers. I got the tom kha and my fiance got the tom yum. He found his soup to be a little on the lemony side for his taste but I think that's just a preference not a reflection of the quality of the soup. I loved my coconutty tom kha. Our waiter showed us how to operate the dial and gave us information about cooking time recommendation. We ordered some hot tea and had a wonderful time. The buffet appeared to be clean and the food fresh and well kept. I tried a variety of meat as well as seafood. The shrimp had a little bit of a previously frozen kind of taste but the scallops were excellent. I think in the end I'm not a big fan of the red meat even though it cooks quickly and tastes fine I just think preference wise I more so enjoyed loading up on the vegetables and noodles. The best thing I had there was the gyoza, so freaking good, highly recommend. It is worth noting that my fiance love the meat, so the great thing about this place is the variety and how multiple people can sit down and enjoy what they like, together. Drop by!

It was a Saturday night around 8 and it wasn't crowded at all, which was nice. I ordered a scallop sushi, Mexican roll and salmon basil roll. The scallop sushi was so fresh, and melted in your mouth. The party I was with ended up ordering one each for themselves as well! The mexican roll was simple and enhanced with a little wasabi and ginger. Perfectly bite sized pieces. The salmon basil roll was unlike anything I've ever had before. Pretty much tasted like a caprese in sushi form! Salmon was incredibly fresh, again super tender and melted in your mouth, no fishy taste. The party I was with also ordered three pieces of uni. Was $14.50 a piece, so pretty steep! However the uni was incredibly tender, very similar to butter, however the tail end did have a slightly fishy taste, but it is sea urchin so that's not uncommon. Someone ordered the tempura udon, they said the broth was a little bland, the udon were cooked perfectly, but of course the tempura gets soggy as it's sitting on top of the udon. They also ordered the fried JB roll, the hot mama roll, and an eel and salmon hand roll. While I can't comment on those things, everybody was incredibly satisfied with their meal and everything was reasonably priced. I didn't pay for this meal, so unfortunately I can't comment on the bill, but I can say this is not a cheap sushi restaurant. The prices are a little higher than average, but you're also getting what you pay for. The quality is spot-on and is exactly what you hope for when you have a sushi craving. The service was fast and they made great recommendations. Their sushi roll selection is not huge by any means, but their menu has a lot of diverse options on it. The only thing that I can't stand, but is of course very common with Sushi and Asian restaurants, is having canned soft drinks. This is a personal preference and didn't impact my rating at all. Overall, I would definitely come back to try other things!
