Very good. We had a chimi-churi beef and thr chicken shiwarma on naan. Both were very tasty. The place was very nice, plenty of seating and very friendly.

Excellent Reuben sandwich, packed full of flavor and made fresh to order. The staff were so nice, giving an overview of how the location was more about the spices and sauces than the food itself and pointing us towards the samples in case we wanted to spice things up ourselves. Really good location for a walk around town, comfy interior and well decorated too. I really liked the penguin mascot on the wall.

Good sandwich. Friendly staff. Perfect location- in the heart of downtown. Love the plants by the entrance. Good amount of sandwich to choose from. I got sunrise turkey. Yummmmmm. Hubby got Thai teriyaki chicken. He said it's very good. It's got a little spicy kick. the kids got turkey with cheese sandwich and they said "sooooo good!" The smoked potato salad was a little bit too salty. We would be returning!

After reading some rave reviews, I decided to check out this local sandwich shop. Located off a busy street, there's plenty of parking. As I walked in, I was welcomed by a very friendly staff member who mentioned they're known for their hot sauces and have been at the brick-and-mortar location since November 2022. The menu is not extensive but there's a sandwich for everyone. I tried their Sunrise Turkey sandwich and loved that everything tasted fresh. The mini baguette my sandwich was on was superb: soft and fresh. My friend got the steak and chimichurri sandwich and after tasting a bite, it was also an excellent choice. Overall, loved this local sandwich joint. Prices are reasonable and you can upgrade to a combo (add chips and a drink) for $4.

Our bartender/server was Lashone and she was funny, fast and friendly! She was pouring drinks for the ENTIRE restaurant and didn't miss a beat!! The breakfast menu is small but everything sounded fantastic. I chose the Steak Tacos; my husband chose the brie and bacon frittata (added by the chef since the quiche was sold out. Steak tacos were delicious (see pic). Menu said they had steak, cheesy scrambled eggs, tomato salsa, breakfast potatoes and cilantro. I didn't see or taste any potatoes, but the tacos were still delicious! I'd only recommend draining the salsa through a sieve because of the excess juice affecting the integrity of the tortilla. My husband's frittata was awful. The eggs were dry; he compared them to "eggs at the bottom of the warming tray at a cheap breakfast buffet." The chef also served a side salad alongside. My husband asked about subbing potatoes and Ms. Lashone made it happen. She was the star of our brunch: drinks were delicious, the conversational quips were quick and funny. She was attentive without being intrusive and made sure we felt welcomed and taken care of. 5 stars for her and my food; 1 for the frittata. I don't want to average it and tank the rating. We'll be back soon to see Lashone!

The king-sized bed was very comfortable, and the shower was wonderful. Cons: There are bars/nightclubs nearby; our room faced the main street and it was pretty loud out there until around midnight. The temperature in the room seemed off - at 74° we were freezing, but at 77° we were sweating. The walls are very thin; we could hear our neighbors on both sides having conversation. If you arrive later in the day and you can find a parking spot on the street, grab it because metered parking is free Monday through Saturday between 5 pm and 8 am and free all day Sunday.

It gets the job done for being a hotel and that's about all I can give it. Beware the parking experience is a little strange as it doesn't have a visitor lot and has to be valet so if you have a car be warned. The rooms are nothing fantastic, they feel very early 2000s which isn't bad but isn't great either. I feel the bathroom could use a remodel because the sink drains were clogged, and the bathroom felt very outdated. The room was spacious though with two queen beds, a chair and very cold A/C. It also had a nice tv in the room too. Beds also felt very comfortable which is nice for a hotel. I definitely would consider this hotel again now that my expectations are a little lower on what to expect. The hotel bar was always dead without anyone around, but the lobby in it of itself was very spacious and accommodating. I also really enjoyed how many things that were walkable around downtown Fredericksburg from the hotel. A ton of breweries, the river front, and restaurants were all within a mile to walk which made it a breeze. It's a very small town with not a lot going on during the week but it did the job.

Theres plenty of parking and they have a small area for outside seating. As you walked in, there's plenty of seating, they have an open kitchen concept, a side room for special events or meetings (25 people capacity) but it's their mission that caught my interest as cashier/ hostess Lexi explains to me. This company spreads and provides charity catering throughout the community with multiple outlets. Lexi was very patient as she explains how the menu works. I ordered 3 items: 1) Loaded baked potato 2) Fried fish 3) Chicken and waffles. I just wanted to taste the baked potato without any protein on top. I don't know what it was that had an off taste, maybe the butter. The potato itself was soft topped with cheese, green onions and a little bland. The chicken and waffle were tasty. The fried chicken wasn't as crispy as I would like it but it was well seasoned and the waffle was soft. There are so many options for your sides. So for the fried fish, the appearance looks delicious but it was very thin and dry. Even with the tartar sauce it was still dry. I was really looking forward to it. The sides I selected were fries and hope cakes (which are sweet corn bread). Their beverages are on point, I got their lemonade and sweet tea. Lexi was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant is only opened on Fridays-Sundays for regular business but since they do multiple catering events, they are open 7 days a week. They also offer Sunday brunch between the hours of 9a-3p which the entire dining room is open with mocktail and coffee station. There isn't a buffet during the brunch but a la carte off the menu. I would make a return visit to try their brunch menu in the near future.
