I booked a prenatal massage through Class Pass. Give yourself time to find it because it is in a big business park of buildings and in a building with other office spaces and it took me several minutes to figure out exactly which building it was and where the space was inside the building but there is lots of parking. They did not have me do an intake form or fill anything out beforehand, so make sure you communicate any specific needs if you have them. The masseuse was very friendly and the room was relaxing. The lights were dim, there was a sound machine on and music playing. The bed was also heated which was a really nice touch. Since I'm pregnant, she had me lay on my side hugging a body pillow, then I switched sides. She spent time massaging my back, butt, neck, arms, legs, hands, feet and toes. She was gentle, I'm assuming since I'm pregnant and it was very relaxing. She also gave me a bottle of water on the way out. It lasted exactly an hour. read more

Went to Martina years ago pre-COVID for a massage just as a way to relax and she did awesome. I neglected to revisit her, but after starting a full-time position at a desk job I found myself with a lot of shoulder and back pain. One 60 minute massage with Martina fixed my pain. I now get a massage once a month and it has alleviated all of my pain, as well as provides me with some much needed relaxation time. My entire day ruined. Appointment was with Ms. Simone H, Tower Point, for a deep tissue. I am new to the area from NY, therefore I did not realize I would have a 35 minute drive to my appointment. Two hours before my 1:30pm appointment I receive a text that unfortunately the therapist was running late and my appointment was moved to 2:30pm. No problem. I arrive at the destination, and waited outside the door as there was a sign stating a massage was in session. Shortly thereafter a young lady said something to me very softly to which I could barely hear, I realized she was asking me my name, I correctly gave her the pronunciation of my name and she said she was (I really didn't hear what she said), but I assumed she was the masseur, although I thought she was behind the closed door. Nevertheless, she proceeded to search through her purse, as I continued to fill in the health form. She eventually begins to say something about she did not have the keys to the office, she left her keys with her auto mechanic, she called the owner, it would take her at least another 30 minutes to get there to open the door. When she finished her tale of woe. My question to her "You want me to wait another half hour? It took 35 minutes to get here, I am on time, and you are not ." She went off on me to tell me she was there for my appointment on time. I had to explain realistically you are not on time, you are not in your office, you are not prepared, or ready to start an appointment. Bantering, back and forth, she refused to some arguing and finally she left, once I asked her for the owner's phone number. I texted the owner, Martina, and explained to her what happened as she was also hearing from her employee about the situation. The massage therapist, Simone was very unprofessional, argumentative and lacked etiquette. I was cancelling the appointment and wanted a refund. Martina was very apologetic, offered me a free massage, and agreed with my assessment of the situation. I declined the offer, my day was spoiled with unpleasantness, not at all as I had planned and I was really taken back at the attitude of this massage person. I will never go back. Oh who gives all their keys, house, office, etc. to the auto mechanic? Don't you take the car keys off the ring and give to the mechanic? This was so strange, when I left she was no place to be seen, although she claimed her car was with the mechanic. read more
