Customer service took 3 days to get back to me, and tried to sell me other part to fix it instead of honoring warranty. Got Duralast coil pack and its working fine, and its lifetime warranty. Bought numerous things from this website for my cadillac cts 2.0. One being a z57 turbo charger. Item came in the mail packaged really nicely. Opened product and everything is nicely laid out and separated in bags, turbocharger is nicely protected and has instructions inside box on how to install aswell. Iv gotten intercooler, throttle body and forged pistons threw them. At this time I'm currently waiting on a zzp email tune. I purchased a set of coil overs for my Saturn ion, have been experiencing endless problems with my car since the install of the parts. All the problems that I'm having are unresolvable, because they do not make any supporting modifications to fix the problems that arise from their coil overs once you install them. But if you have a Saturn ion REDLINE, they make all the supporting mods in the world to correct these issues. Meaning they know that these issues happen, right??? So this company knows that their parts create issues with the car once they go on, but they neglect to make the parts to fix the issues that arise when you install their coil overs. If you have a Saturn ion, buy absolutely nothing from this company. They never pick up the phone, I have called them 20+ times in a day and never once did they answer. But when I walked in to their office to pick up my parts, no one was doing Jack diddly squat. This company neglects to write proper part descriptions of their parts, thus they lie to their customers, and then are willing to do nothing to fix it. Avoid this company at all costs. I'm now 33 and have went too ZZP for all my parts and upgrades and there Slogan " Go Fast Not Broke" is as true as gets.The company is super solid when approached correctly. Lots of people slamming ZZP on reviews are bunch if Ken's and Karen's when it comes to customer service. I've been in the customer service industry for 5 years now and for those that don't know how to communicate without talking with ego and self entitlement are the worse and can blow there complaints out there A$$. I spent money and they are impossible to get ahold of and their CEO trolls all the "fail groups" on social media to bash you when you talk about their SUB PAR PRODUCTS. I am shocked at what some of these reviews are saying... I've been using them for parts and tunes on my 2011 Chevy Cruze Eco since November of 2020. I have purchased their V3 turbo, front mount intercooler, 42# green injectors, CAI, Cat-less downpipe and mid pipe, their coil pack, the HP-Tuner and the 12" big brake kit. Don't use them for tunes as a review said... that is absurd. Tim has done the tunes from day one. He is fantastic to work with and since December 2020 he's probably made about 35 tune adjustments and 20 of them in the last month as we are trying to fix a boost issue that came up after having the car modified for 20K miles and not once has he charged me for new tune. a little while ago I reached out to him about getting the new rotors and he just sends me a new tune to try! Who else does that? Someone mentioned BNR? I lived 45 miles from them in FL and tried to contact them 3 separate times and never heard back. I do agree with the review about not answering the phone and it always goes to voicemail, but they are responsive in emails. The retarded girl as one review said must be Ashley and she is fine to work with, not once have I had a problem with her. Hard to return parts? I also bought their stage 1 cam and valve springs but was too wary of my local GM dealership installing them and they wanted $1350 dollars in labor alone. ZZP was about that much for parts and labor! I was going to drive from south Florida to their shop in Michigan, but I got cold feet because of the milage on the car. Was just over 100K mile. I returned them without an issue, no restocking fee, and now I just might be getting them installed as I have to take the car to them since the remote troubleshooting has gone as far as it can. The only parts I've had an issue with was the slotted and drilled rotors which developed some big cracks after living in FL and PA and going back and forth a few times as well as salted roads in winter. I got standard rotors which weren't offered when i bought the kit originally. I replaced the pads and rotors about a month and a half ago, since the pads area wear item it happens. I personally never liked drilled rotors, and this was the first set I bought in over 30 years of building cars but making the horsepower the car has now needed the bigger brakes to be able to stop, which it does extremely well now. The problem I'm having now could possibly be coil pack related and I took apart the boots and didn't like what I saw... a lot of corrosion and rust on the inside which I had to clean off with sandpaper but couldn't get inside the inner part of each coil. I bought a cheap replacement to test with and no difference. I still think the coil needs to be replaced but we will see. And no, this is not a 5-star fake review... I'm waiting on a quote for troubleshooting the car if I bring it there... a 6-hour drive. If its nothing major like a complete engine rebuild the cam and valve springs will be going in as the final mod. When your modifying cars you're going to run into problem at some point so you shouldn't complain about it, it's part of the hobby. Try driving 3.5 hours from upstate NY to NJ to get a heavily modified STi tuned... had a $1250 Process West Intercooler on it and after the tuner did a smoke leak test it had a leak! Brand new... it wasn't the tuner's fault or the company who i got it from and that company drop shipped me a new one and didn't want the old one back. I bought 5 gallons of 112 octane race gas with me and had to go 3.5 hours back home, wait 2 weeks and drive back down there with more race gas. read more

I purchased a complete exhaust system (headers to tailpipe) in April 2023. less than two month later the catalytic converter is failing and blowing ceramic/platinum particles all over the rear half of the car. Company wants me to pay to ship the defective part back to them and wait most likely two weeks without being able to drive my car while they repair it and ship it back. This is poor customer service. More REPUTABLE companies when they sell defective parts ship another replacement part with return shipping label for you to return defective part back with in the same packaging thereby not having to inconvenience the customer more than they already have been with the defective part in the first place. Beware go elsewhere for your parts needs! The people who work there are incompetent. Rational thought does not exist there. Buy your parts elsewhere! read more

These guys reviewed my order last year. I ordered 105lb comp cam springs. I asked them many questions regarding if I had the right parts. I went ahead with my order. I never got around to assembly until 1 year later. That is when I found out the 105lb I may get valve lift. This is a problem. My entire order is still in its boxes. I asked if they would exchange them they only agreed after I was complaining. A credit which is fine. When I asked when the 136lb springs would be in I was told no ETA. Ok I spent a couple grand last year, go Friggin find out for me bud. To me it's ridiculous. Word for the wise, make sure your order is perfect cause these guys don't care. read more

It sucks that I ordered a car part and the company is acting pissed off that I want to return a bad part saying they stand by their work. Since they are refusing to fix the part or send one in useful condition to me I don't think they care about their product. I paid for 1 day shipping too and sending it back to them I'm gonna be loosing money on the part cuz they will not provide shipping for me and on top of that they want to charge me a 10% restocking fee, I'll just have to eat my money and see if I can ever afford to get this POS fixed by somebody who cares about their work and product they sell. I'm baffled that they said another part will have the same amount of sealing surface pitting, the products surface also has rough machining marks around the edges, if I take a straight edge to it it will not be flat and show daylight underneath it, on the inside of the oil pan there are molding mark circles with rough burrs that I can pick off with my fingernail and if those got into my transmission it would ruin it. I don't care if they run it in their cars and say they never had a problem with it...I want my money back including the extra money I paid for 1 day shipping. They also advised me to not buy another part from me if I do not trust in their products. I think I have a better luck taking this oil pan to a machine shop and paying them to fix it since the company refuses to fix it as I'd think all parts would have a warranty. read more

This company has let me down more ways than one, to start I've spent over 5000$ with said company on upgrades over time and the most recent of transactions have been a horrible experience. Let's start out with saying that Ryan Derrick is their best employee hands down and if it wasn't for him I would have never gone back there again. I upgraded my turbo and few other things and had it tuned, while on the dyno we ran into an issue, I called zz performance to get some insight on a tuning calibration issue and I was told, " We can't tell your tuner how to do his job, we can tune the car for you" mind you it's sitting on a dyno in the process, obviously I'm not gonna just leave and say ok see ya later. I spent a lot of money with them and that's the response I get? Next is even better, I purchased a Southbend clutch kit from them, paid to have it installed, new Throw out bearing and fluids, 800$ job easily. The clutch immediately doesn't work and throw out bearing blows out, I call them and they say " oh yeah you need a spacer for it to work, the air gap is to big" oh wow so don't mention that in the clutch description or offer the 5$ part in every kit? We should just know these things right? So now I have to pay to have it installed again, 800$ plus a new throw out bearing and fluids, 1085$. Not once did they offer any help or support. Instead they disrespect you and name call, I was told it's common knowledge that I should of known it needed a spacer, no clutch have my mechanics or myself ever seen, needed such spacer to make work. The third strike came from when this Ashley employee started arguing with me via email over a strut bar that didn't fit my car and I wanted to return. Did not once offer to help pay for shipping and when they refused to refund me due to some wear marks on the product they said of you want it back you'll have to pay for shipping again. Holding the part hostage from me I told them to keep it as a wall decoration. Never will do business with them again! read more

I bought an intake, charge tube, and then paid for a custom hp tuners tune where you record your data and send it to them and they tweak it and send it back. My car is a cts with an ltg 2.0 turbo. Needless to say after 2 weeks of driving on their tune my car is running like crap and spitting oil out of everywhere. I tell them the situation and they say that's a common problem with ltg engine's. And then try to sell me more parts that they say makes it better, lol! Ultimately, after doing research on this. The tune caused to much boost at low rpm. Causing fuel to be pushed between the piston rings and detonated between them Causing the piston to crack. I had to get a different motor or rebuild my current one. Their parts are pretty good, but STAY AWAY from their tune!!!! And their customer service is horrible! So don't buy anything and expect support later. I hope someone reads this and I prevent a major headache for them. read more

Read past the reviews rated 5 stars as I would bet they are fake. This is the most unprofessional company which I've dealt with in a long time. I ordered a turbo kit for a Pontiac Solstice. It included manifold, hoses, gaskets and turbo. The ONLY thing that fit the Solstice was the turbo itself, there were hoses missing, the wastegate control was missing. I wasted 4 hours trying to install this garbage and said enough. Now, for the good part. This company accused me of trying to commit fraud by doing a charge back on my card AFTER I shipped it back. They had the tracking number and everything. Then they kept harassing me about returning it. They send me the wrong part and then get mad at me for returning it. Read the other reviews, it's the way they do business. My advice is to stay completely away from these people, they are not worth the risk. read more

I ordered parts that were listed IN STOCK on their website on a Tuesday evening, paying 2nd day air shipping so I'd get the product for the weekend. When I noticed Thursday morning that the parts had not yet shipped, I contacted ZZP and asked them to ship the parts next day air, with them covering the difference. Ryan in CS refused. I asked for management, he responded, "We do not have management at ZZPerformance. Since you are threatening to file claims with paypal I will simply refund your order and you may get the product from a different company." I contacted them by email asking has this been shipped? They responded back the next day, that they needed additional information from me and quickest way was to reply to the verify link. Not including what this information is they need! Oh, by the way, the link is broken...email can't be sent! So I reply back to the orders email. About a month ago a friend an I went out to ZZP from Wisconsin to get a turbo upgrade installed at ZZP on his 2009 Cobalt SS. We headed out on a Sunday for the car to be worked on Monday morning. My friend was informed that it would take 1-2 days or less to complete the installation plus a dyno tune. Everything was going well until Tuesday on the dyno. There was an issue with the turbo and unfortunately it had to come back out of the car to get corrected. There was a slightly bent part on the turbo and they had the parts available to replace it. Unfortunately this would take close to another day to sort out as well as re-verify on the dyno and we had to stay one more day due to this. Being that we were in town waiting for this all to be done we were concerned about getting back home and when. Edin was the key guy taking care of us and our needs as well as updates on the progress of the car. He was very understanding of our needs. He actually let us use his personal vehicle to get around during the day so we didn't have to be at the shop all day waiting. He also procured a lead on a rental car should we have needed it. He gave us a shop tour and we were able to meet some of the staff and technicians as well as see some of their personal projects. Making a long story short we ended up completely functional Wednesday afternoon and headed home. Even though there was an unforeseen issue, the staff here at ZZP went above and beyond to solve the problem...and as quickly as possible! They had several techs rotate in and out during the day so that they could still have lunch but get the job done as well. We truly felt very well taken care of during our time with them. They never charged my friend anything over the original quote. These guys are very passionate about what they do here! This was my first time here and my friends second and I have to say that all of the communication between the staff at ZZP and us was impeccable! This was a review that zzp sent to me so I responded with the truth and the experience that I had. If you read this the beginning and end is me and middle is zzp. They mad a small attempt to help but as you read you will see that I,m selling the car due to the customer service I got and that they are the only place to buy performance parts from and when I spoke of getting a refund for the bad parts I received they never wrote back. So in conclusion there actions speak for the way that they do business, and if you read other yelp reviews you will see that these people are poor in communication. I am a mechanic for my father who has owned a shop for 50 years so I was born into it and grew up around it. I would take zzp advice and buy what they said I needed to run and still had bad results and the staff would always put the blame back on me. I recently bought the zzp cams and in less than 1000k I had a lifter go bad and when I removed the cam the lobe for that lifter was pitted and breaking down. The cams are cheap I compared the stock cams to the factory cams and where the position sensor goes into the factory cam its a pressed fit nice clean and tight, but on the zzp cams it looked like someone beat it in with a hammer and a punch. I didn't bother to call them knowing that I would probably be blamed for something like not using assembly lube or torque specs and procedures. so I am now selling my car that I don't want to sell because I guess 50 years of experience doesn't cut it for these guys, and seeing that they are the only place to buy parts for these cars I have no choice. Hello Ryan, :zzp I was alerted to your review. I'm sorry your experience has been such. While we stand behind our products, we do have to go through the diag process to see why something failed. if it was a cause of our part then we will do our best to warranty or take care of your for it. We do not deny or discredit anyone's prior experience, even when people try to use it incorrectly or as an excuse. We have people who have been working on small blocks for XX years and are ASE certified mechanics, etc etc. But that doesn't translate to modern engines in every occasion. Once again, not discrediting you, just explaining if you have gotten the feeling that we were. As far as the cam, did you reach out to us or assume that is what we would say? Did you happen to get the lifters from us or are these OEM ones? Alan McClure had an OEM lifter fail that took out a billet cam lobe about 2 months ago, and at no fault of his. Just a parts failure. If it was an OEM one that failed we can work with you on getting a replacement for said cam and even probably toss you another OEM lifter, but we can't even have the possibility of helping if we don't even know what you're having issues with. :ME I have already installed all new lifters from GM with all new timing stuff from GM and bought another ECM with a factory tune so I can sell the car the only thing you could do for me at this point is refund me for my cams. I'm sorry that its came to this but the car is being sold for sure I don't have the time to keep fighting back and forth about who is a better mechanic and who has a piece of paper to prove it. working on modern engines is no different than old engines especially when all internal combustion engines work the same way only difference is computers. computers is to control and mechanical is all the same cams lifters pistons rings crankshaft valves heads they all have it. I still have the cams I can send them back if you want but please understand that I'm done and don't care about arguing anymore that's what got me to the stage of selling the car. since I have posted the car for sale one other guy called me about his cobalt and had an identical story he told me how he spent a bunch of money with zzp and his car runs terrible and he called and asked me for advise to me that's a sign to call it quits I am exhausted from this and don't want to keep it going witch is why I have decided to sell the vehicle. so if you don't wish to help with a refund than just take my review as a learning experience to better your business and customer service and let it be. thank you read more

Please let me warn you; If you have an issue with regards to the part you purchased from ZZP...good luck. You can't call them and get someone right away to help you. You have to leave a message and they will either call you or email you back. Their method of communication is pathetic! It took about 12 hours to get a response via email...and when I read it, it was just a question to me, which then needed to be relayed to my Mechanic. At that point I responded by telling them to just call my Mechanic directly....well, two days went by...no call. So, I emailed them back stressing how urgent it was to get my car back and that I would appreciate a call A.S.A.P. With that, I got a call back fairly quickly. I talked to Steve. He said that he would call my mechanic and see what he could do to help with the issue. 24 hours later...my mechanic claims he never heard from Steve. I then emailed Steve to find out what happened and he said he called my mechanic within 10 seconds of getting off the phone with me. He claimed he let the phone ring about 20 times and gave up. So, did Steve try to make another attempt at a later time?...NO, did he email me or call me to let me know that he couldn't reach my mechanic? NO. The guy just left us all hanging. If I hadn't contacted him 12 hours later, I'm pretty sure we would had never heard from him again. Turns out my mechanic had to step out for about 5 minutes (which is rare) and missed the call. Long story short, I figured out what the issue was on my own. It literally took 5 days to get "NO WHERE" with ZZP. I could have probably had my car back four days earlier if I could have had my simple question answered with in the first 24 hours. If you buy from these guys, GOOD LUCK! read more

Purchased a ported head with stage 2 cams and ZZP valves, turbo, down pipe, intake and lots more. Communication was very good, I have over 20 emails with them, most of which were answered same day. They gave me a sweet deal. They also spoke with a tuner to give him info on the cams and motor. I am extremely happy with my overall experience with them. I will be purchasing my inter cooler upgrade kit soon from them as well. 2011 regal turbo. read more
