We wanted 2 dozen of custom cookies and a custom cake. The cookies were really pricy for what it was and it wasn't that tasteful. The decoration of cake turned out how we wanted it to be. My son's girlfriend was having a bad day at work so he and I decided to bring her home something sweet to try and make the rest of the evening better. We were across the river and I found this spot via Mapquest. It is a small, quaint, hole-in-the-wall type place. Limited selection but everything looked delicious. She even offers a bag of doggie treats! Though Eclair is in the title, they didn't have any available when we went. However, I was easily talked into trying the creme brûlée crepe cake as a substitute for the eclair. We left out of there with half dozen macaroons, a gold encrusted oreo cupcake, the crepe cake slice, and a bag of doggie treats. The macaroons are simply delicious, flavorful and colorful. The oreo cupcake was a hit, and devoured quickly. My son and I split the crepe cake and it was surprisingly light. I wasn't sure what to expect with the multiple layers but was delightfully thrilled with the taste. And true to form, it had the torched sugar crusted topping. Definitely worth returning for more. Aladdin also devoured his doggie treat with gusto. One thing to note, the crepe cakes have to be ordered ahead of time and purchased whole. We were fortunate to have been able to sample a slice. I will definitely be placing an order soon. Overall, a superb find and well worth the trip. I will be returning. read more

Yummmmmmm! I bought my birthday cake here. Crepe Crème Brûlée and omg delish. The owner and other employee that helped me were so sweet and just went extra I felt like to be nice. First time going here, we had the panda cake. It was phenomenal! But when I came back for it again a week later, the cake was completely different and the staff said it was the same thing. My brother also got the same cake and it was different and was disappointed when the cake was nowhere near what I had the first time. Bubble tea isn't good here. It's super cute inside though. Called to confirm hours of operation but it rings and goes to voice-mail. Beneficial to note hours of operation into the voicemail greeting. Hours on website and Yelp says close at 7pm and I arrived right before 6pm and it was closed. Google, on the other hand, says it close at 6pm. Do better. Such a cute little pastry shop! I didn't even know this place was here, until I was driving down Terry Parkway and noticed the sign. I made note of the name and did some research. I liked what I saw, so I decided to pop in and check it out for myself. Upon entering, I was greeted immediately by the owner. It was a little later in the day, so a lot of the goodies had been snatched up, but there was a chocolate strawberry cake that caught my eye. After I got it home, I was delighted at how tasty and fresh it was. Yes, the strawberries were super fresh and the cake was light and melted in my mouth. They have a nice selection of pastries here and, when I go back, I'm going to have to try some of their macaroons. I also saw some posts about a doberge cake that looks really good, so I'm eager to try that as well. They serve different coffees, if you want some coffee with your dessert and, for the summer, they are also serving flavored teas. It sounds like the perfect way to beat the heat! read more

So i stopped coming here after I had a few items that didn't seem to be freshly made. I was in the mood for sweets today, puff pastry to be exact. I ordered the last fruit tart and it did not disappoint. I did feel like the some of the top and bottom layers were a little too browned to my liking. I just ate around it with no problems. The flavor of the cream was perfect, not too sweet or too thick. I would love the bakery to showcase more puff pastry goods such as croissants or Napoleons. read more

haven't actually been to the establishment yet so I'll follow up with a more accurate review but the owner is so nice and accommodating. We were unable to get in touch a few times and she had a complimentary cake for us this week. It was SO GOOD. Like I had to send it off to other family members so I wouldn't eat the entire thing. It was the creme brûlée crepe cake which is like layers of crepes with creme in it and then creme brûlée ontop and crispy sugar/strawberries over that. Keep up the good work. We will eventually stop in. Update: used this establishment for my daughters 3rd bday treats and cake and everything was so amazing. Everyone was raving about how delicious the cake was and the cake pops and our little mini macaroons. The owner really worked with me and was so accommodating with my party (I have to move the date due to rain) and she even came to the shop on a day they weren't open to get my stuff ready. Super cute and the definition of a hidden gem! My relatives and I must've driven past this place for so long without knowing what it was! But thanks to Yelp and a craving for sweets I found myself at eclair delicieux. The young woman at the counter was so friendly and pointed me to some of the customer favorites. I ended up getting a variety of deserts and boba tea to go. I love the atmosphere of the place. It's small but decorated well so the colors of the deserts and boba pop against the white decor. So far, I have been here one time and I would say I enjoyed my pandan crepe cake. The owner was very nice and sweet. There were many items available, but I was only in the mood for a quick bite for my sweet tooth since I was in a bit of a rush. They bakery was nicely decorated and clean which made you feel like you were in a different place. There isn't much seating in the bakery, but it's not bad if you're just picking up something quick on the go. Found this place on yelp and wanted to try. I went here around noon with the hubs. There was a really small selection that they had. Macaroons were mostly broken in the tray. I did not try because I do not want to spend money on broken macaroons. I had the eclair. It was just okay. The cream filling weren't fresh. The chocolate on top were incorrect. I also ordered three slices of cake: triple chocolate, lemon cake, and the cake with fresh fruits inside (I forgot the name). Triple chocolate cake were too sweet with little butter cream. Lemon cake was just okay. I did not get to taste the cake with fresh fruits because our server forgot to include the cake. Lastly, the jasmine milk tea with coffee jelly. The milk tea was all sugar and no tea flavors. The coffee jelly was sour. I did not finish this cup which was unusual because I'm queen milk tea. What a hidden gem just a drive away from New Orleans, right next to all the amazing pho spots. The owner was so so nice and so talented. She has a rotating selection of desserts, some Asian inspired too! I came here when I saw a friend post a picture of her king cake creme brulee meringue drink (wow that was mouthful!!). I ordered a latte, which was made so well! I haven't had a good latte at a dessert spot like ever. She explained that if I wanted it the top more brown, it's called a French burn. And yes I wanted that!! It was such a fun drink to watch her make, but also SO good to drink. I didn't need anything added to my latte. I did need a napkin to wipe off my fluff 'stache though! My girls and I were having a last minute picnic and needed macarons and this place was open at 10 AM which was perffffect! The owner I believe was working and she was super sweet! She was very helpful in explaining the flavors and the treats that she has. The macarons were amazing. Super soft and chewy. The flavors are sooo bomb. I found this bakery on the westbank and decided to make the drive. They fill the cream puff pastry to order as you can order vanilla or chocolate filling. I chose chocolate! Super quaint place and definitely a hole in the wall! It was really clean inside and the lady was very sweet as well! I usually go the macaroons and the flavors always tends to change weekly! It's also cheaper than most dessert places so I highly recommend this place for quick sweet bite to indulge in. The packaging was super cute too as she tied in bow in a Tiffany blue box- perfect for a small treat or gift for a friend. I also had the chocolate cake which was kind of on the dry side. The creme brûlée layered crepe cake dessert was a bit dry too but still very yummy. I came to the shop the other week for the first time to try the crepes i was longing for. It is a cute little shop with a chill vibe. I wanted the coffee crepe but it was not available that day. But! The girl at the shop was soooo SWEET! Omg, she offer me the pandan crepe and the coffee flan. The crepe carries a slight hint of pandan, it is not very sweet and perfect for my palate. The coffee flan??? What? This is the Bomb, people. It is a coffee flavoured flan on top of a chocolate muffin. The flan is sweet just right and extremely smooth on the tounge, very coffee-ly. I live right behind the honey baked ham and I had no idea this place existed until now. It's one of the most charming French inspired pastry shop I've ever seen and it's right here in the heart of Terrytown. Also I was happy to know the owner sells Vietnamese coffee. I'm an avid traveler and I felt like I was oversees for a minute there. Anyways, I had The owners famous Creme brûlée, a caramel Macaroon and they were both delicious.
