I'm 50/50 about this place. I love their hamburgers. Old school style, greasy messy and delicious. Pineapple shake used to taste great but the flavor isn't there anymore. Not sure what they changed. No line, and got my food relatively quickly. I got the cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger, and side of chili cheese fries. Total came out to less than $30 for a meal for two. Not bad, and pretty standard. The cheeseburger tasted OK, tons of chopped lettuce in there. Fortunately I love veggies so I enjoyed it, but could see how this could turn off some people. This is a classic giant burger spot. My husband and I have been coming here for years as it's an easy spot to go to for classic burgers, fries, and milkshakes. Love this burger spot! We come very often! My go to is the cheeseburger and my kiddo likes to get the hot dog. I would say the hot dog is okay but at least she is eating! I love how fresh the burger is. I took my sisters here when they came to visit and they wanted to go back again before leaving town. You really get that homie-backyard burger when biting into one of these I've also had the chili cheese fries and cheese fries a little disappointed with both. On the road, I was craving a Smashburger and searched Yelp for a one near me. This place came up with good reviews so I decided to try it. At first, I was slightly disappointed that it was indeed just a hamburger joint, NOT offering "smash-style" burgers. However the service was good, food was fresh and served hot off the grill. The cheeseburger I ordered was juicy and delicious. Bun was soft and fresh also. Fries were hot and tender inside. Could have used a few seconds longer to crisp more outside, but that's my preference . This place is a walk up and order, basically take out, but there are a couple seats outside. I asked her a few questions on the menu and wouldn't speak up and then would get frustrated when I asked her to repeat it. Despite the average reviews of this place, I thought it was pretty decent. There's nothing fancy - just a patty, bun, tomato, lettuce, onion, and cheese (and mustard and mayo if you want, which I left out). As for ambiance, there's a walk up ordering window and not much of a seating area at the restaurant, so we ate in our car - but they have a big parking lot so that wasn't a big deal. There's nothing special about their burgers. It was simple and tasty. The burgers are cooked on a flat top grill (I prefer char grilled). I ordered cheese and bacon for extras. Fresh l/t/o with mayonnaise and mustard come standard. No ketchup, which I was fine with. The fries were crispy but not seasoned. This was an unexpected pleasure....better than Burger King. It was a hungry afternoon, but I wasn't in the mood for a worldwide fast food burger today. Which by the by is tasting less like real beef! This place is a quick walk away from the Hayward Plunge. Perfect place to celebrate after finishing a swim class. This place is a simple burger and freaking good! It reminds me of a whopper with cheese from Burger King. They use a very watery mayonnaise or add water to their mayonnaise. This joint is right on a busy freeway, so we did a pit stop for dinner and grabbed the burgers to go. It's a take-out joint mainly! There's a few benches on the side where you can sit and eat. The size of the burger was very convincing. We ordered a veggie burger and the patty was made of beans, corns, peas and lentils. I really enjoyed the flavor of the burger.
