The service is absolutely fantastic, and while the food is good, it has a comfortingly familiar vibe that makes it enjoyable!

Overpriced 2 burgers, fries and 2 small beverages $41. No combos, utterly done with five guys, insult on insult recommending a 20% tip. Fruit flies buzzing and dry burgers.

I mean it's five guys. They're consistent with the food and the quality. There are times where the service is a little bit slower or not quick, but that's the nature of the business. If you don't like then, work for Five guys? LOL. I'm not here to defend corporations or anything, but there are bigger things to complain about. Anyway, the food was good. It's usually clean and there's always seating. The only thing I hate about this location is the cell service. It's bad, but not the fault of the store, just the location.

Grilled Cheese Sandwich w/ grilled onions and mushrooms

Had the grilled cheese with mushrooms and grilled onions. For me this was a great combo. But I got a banana peanut butter shake and the combo was 5/5 wish I had gotten two For grilled cheese and shake was about $13.50 per person Customer service was amazing was only two ladies working and I received my food within 5-6 mins. Thank you Erika

I had a pretty interesting time at the Five Guys location in Hayward, on Hesperian Blvd near Industrial. This is the restaurant in the small strip mall near the Costco. Good location.....busy area, lots of businesses nearby, and free parking. I thought it would be fun to go in and order in person. It was 45-mins before closing. First, it's really loud and noisy inside. The order taker was yelling at me. I'm the only customer there, and everyone is yelling grill orders. So I decide on a cheeseburger, fries, and a chocolate shake. Everything is cool as I'm standing away from the counter. When I stepped up to the counter, then the fry cook let me know he's adding extra fries to my order. He gave me a regular fries, and then what appeared to be half a basket of fries in the bag. How are the fries? Great texture, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. But too much salt! Grade (4/5). Milk Shake? Grade(4/5): Creamy, smooth, good flavor, but not cold enough. It's customer preference. I like the old school style of milk shake with the "icy bite." When you get a milkshake from a Wendys or McDonalds, and it has a grainy appearance, those are ice crystals. When you drink it, your mouth will be COLD! The Cheeseburger "All The Way", Grade (4/5): Good double cheeseburger. Proof that you can make a cheeseburger that isn't dry, tastes good, and travels well. Even when it's " All The Way!" While I was standing there watching the lady cook my burger, my order taker puts a box of peanuts on the counter. He says " Did you want some peanuts?" He gave me half a bag to take home. I read somewhere that Five Guys doesn't like you to watch the crew cook. So they distract the customers with free peanuts. Overall, very interesting experience at Five Guys in Hayward. Good crew, they were team players and had good customer service. Good and generous food. Way too much fries, and thanks for the peanuts! BTW, total price: $22. If you love it, it's worth the price!

This location opened in June of 2019. ... It's nice inside, but kind of small. The seating capacity is only about 25.

I had a positive experience overall. In terms of the food, I just like the other Hayward location a little more. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/five-guys-hayward-3?select=th2YP_gAdIshy_-RGSGTPA: My wife and I went here on the 11th. We only had to wait a few minutes in line (it was about 11:30). Our cashier was warm and friendly, but not thorough enough. Our order wasn't read back to us (it always seems to occur at the other location). A mistake was made regarding my wife's burger, but I partly blame myself for not checking the receipt until it was too late (the eateries near us regularly mess up a little, and so it was strange that I was so trusting). The location is open daily from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. The staff worked well together. Their level of communication was strong, and a few people stood out in terms of being upbeat. The location is small. It's easy enough to move around, but the seating capacity is only about 25. Some kids' drawings are on the cork board, but crayons and paper might not be out in the open now due to the pandemic (big boys don't cry, but I sure wanted to). It's nice that two Coca-Cola Freestyle machines are here (over the years, I have tried a lot of different drink flavors). I love rock music (Five Guys is known for it), but the songs that we heard did not stand out. Keep your receipt if you want a chance to win a $50 gift card. The parking lot spaces are tight. My wife was worried that the driver of a red car caused a scratch (they didn't, but we both felt hemmed in). Note: All prices include tax. Grilled Cheese ($6.19): 8.25/10. My sandwich was tasty (I just added some mayo at home), but it was small and too pricey. Fries - Five Guys Style (Regular- $5.64): 8/10. They needed a bit more seasoning (I added some salt), but we received a great amount. They were also cooked well (not dark or hard) and not at all greasy. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/five-guys-hayward-3?select=tGW0q0ooH8QaqH_V1UZ6aA: Cheeseburger ($10.84): 7.5/10. There was a lot of cheese, and my patties were cooked well. My burger wasn't good enough, however, for what it cost. The guy ahead of us in line was new to Five Guys. I learned, though, that you can get 3 patties instead of 2 if you want (I don't know how much extra you'll be charged). The new guy also asked about the weight of the burgers. If I recall correctly, the patties are a little over 1/3 pound. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/five-guys-hayward-3?select=dkAwF1mqgvOSwGRW6osPhA: Hot Dog ($7.41): 8/10. The hot dogs at the other location are a little tastier, but the ones here are worth ordering overall. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/five-guys-hayward-3?select=rM3EFXGVEwKo91otm2ZM8w: Little Cheeseburger ($8.07): 8/10. Little means that you receive 1 patty instead of 2. She asked for mustard, not grilled mushrooms, but my wife still liked her burger. I like how this location looks (a woman also stared at the signs and framed articles inside), and we received good service overall. The food was just not special enough to warrant a return. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22GEvDupWGo&ab_channel=MrDutton94

Visited this 5 guys for the first time Friday, July 3rd! first impression: very clean restaurant and everyone had on masks!!!!! So great!! Initial thoughts: wow! Everyone is Super friendly and funny (you can tell they enjoy working there and together)) ! Plus my order was made to perfection because I'm rather picky being a keto eater! The guy at the register greeted me and the lady on the fry machine was so friendly and provided outstanding service! And the food was HOT and tasty! Would definitely recommend and

Coke Zero unavailable. The only reason I came out of the heat was for the unlimited Zero.

Whoever is in charge of the soda machine failed big time today. All my favorite sodas are unavailable in this hot day. Burgers and fries however were excellent.

IT'S FINALLY OPEN!!!! While making my weekly Costco run, I noticed Five Guys was finally opened for business. Instead of dining in on my first visit, I needed to order take out since I had my non-perishables in my car. When I walked in, there was no line to my surprise. Being familiar with this franchise, it was pretty easy ordering my meal. I had been craving for the longest time here is their cajun fries! Besides having a large order of cajun fries on my mind, I ended up ordering a bacon cheese burger (comes with two hamburger patties, American cheese, and bacon), with my choice of toppings of mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, and grilled onions. The service was friendly and my order was expedited in a timely manner. Once I got home, the burger and fries were still hot from a five minute drive. The burger was stacked with delicious patties, veggies, and cheese, packed in-between soft and warm buns. The fries were seasoned nicely with the cajun spice, providing that necessary kick I was looking for. Another burger option closer home and glad it's Five Guys!

This restaurant is closeby our house and we only go once every two-three months. Not really a burger person but when my husband craves for it, I just always order the bacon burger. I have it "all-the-way" with jalapeno for extra and boy it doesn't disappoint as always. With fries and chocolate shake, Ohmy!!!... I'm in heaven. To top it with roasted peanuts while waiting, makes it all worthwhile. I love the freshness of their meat and all the seasonings and ingredients. For me, it is just perfect the way I like it. Not too rich and not too overwhelming due to the size. The place and staff are pretty good. Clean and Pleasant. Though I find them pretty pricey. 2 burgers, 1 regular fries and a chocolate shake for $25, I find it okay since we only get to eat them once every 2-3 months. Highly recommended

But don't think there are multiple locations...yet. Upon receiving my sandwiches, it was wrapped in a paper with their company logo, and from a quick glance it is super similar to the Jersey Mikes logo in terms of color, so it has a real familiar vibe. No hate just an observation. This used to be another restaurant (maybe even several) on the edge of an industrial zone/business park, but also not too far from several shopping strips. There's spacious seating inside, but in the later afternoon when I went, nobody was eating in. But quite a few take-out and third party pick-ups. I even saw a poster showcasing their catering aspect for common work lunches on the company dime. Good for them. Niles Canyon ($14.50/4*) I opted to up this to their combo meal which includes a bag of chips and a soda for another $5. So this was easily a $20 lunch meal without tipping yet. Pricey yes, but not because they are pricier than most, but that is just the going rate for eating a meal outside these days. $15 - $20 per person are common and anything under $15 is now considered cheap eats and getting harder to run into. This sandwich had slightly warmed up deli turkey that when stacked with the swiss cheese slices, kinda softened the cheese. It wasn't ooey gooey but the cheese wasn't firm and cold either. There was another layer of prosciutto as well which wasn't too noticeable but did add another dimension. I chose to go with the full produce choice, as I love the freshness of veggies to go with meat sandwiches. There was also a layer of fresh avo slices which lent a creamy richness to the bites. I tried one of their sliced breads to go for this sandwich, as I tried a sourdough roll for another sandwich that I got to-go for my work lunch the next day. That way I got to sample their bread offerings. Their sliced marbled rye bread is thick sliced, very soft and moist with a good bread chew. They use a good bread supplier for sure. On top of mayo and mustard which is common, they also put their Bomb Sauce which seems like a garlic-y spread of sorts. I can definitely smell it, but the taste isn't overly strong. I'd say super similar to Mr Pickles. Prosciutto Sandwich ($13/4*) This was an all-cold traditional sandwich. I took a couple of bites there to see how it was fresh from the counter, and I ate the rest the next day at work. I gotta say I liked it better the next day as all the flavors melded more together. Even tho the veggies get a bit mushier, I've always liked a well dressed salad sensation in sandwiches, kinda like a Muffeletta sandwich where it is refrigerated overnight, meant to be eaten the next day. Their prosciutto isn't the old school imported version, or at least I've never had one quite like it. I'm assuming a domestic version, even seemed more like cappicola to me as I sensed a tinge of fennel up in there. So pretty satisfied with my first visit. I'll definitely get sandwiches here again for work or day trip lunches. Pretty much on the same level as Togo's or Mr. Pickles, but just more local. With sandwich names as The Quarry Lakes, The Decoto and The Dumbarton, just pulls on my local lovin' heartstrings. Props.

The falafel was a disappointment though as it was not fully cooked. There was a slight raw taste to it. Took the food to go and the server was very cheerful.

I was in the area, and I am beyond happy to have found this place! I came in on a Saturday…read moreafternoon and it was slightly busy but I honestly wanted to try everything haha! My family and I ended up trying the Cookies & Cream Croffle, Toscino Spam Pandesal, Strawberry Muddy Mix, and the Buko Pandan Latte. Everything tasted delicious but I especially loved the strawberry muddy mix since it was super flavorful and easy to share! I also would heavily recommend the Buko Pandan Latte. It has homemade pandan syrup and was exactly what I needed. I would definitely recommend supporting this small business! The vibe in here is super cute! All the walls are decorated and I think this would be a great place to chat with friends!

The ube thai tea sounded hella good and wanted to try it besides the iced turon latte and i was disappointed not gonna lie. This drink was separated from the actual main menu so it was their specialty. I did not taste the ube, it tasted hella watered down, not sweet at all, just straight sadness. The turon latte was okay, i didn't taste the turon, it tasted just like an iced latte. I also got the ube cookie and the cookie was better than the drinks. I would love to try this place again for a redemption if i were to come back to the area. But kind of iffy since 2 drinks kind of got me bummed out. Tungtungtungsahur rates 2/5
