It didn't take long for us to make our second visit. I see why this place is busy and has great reviews! We ordered two haystack burgers, one Billy Roy burger, one kids menu chicken strips, one kids menu sliders, full size fries, and fill size fried zucchini. All the food was great and kids loved there's as well. I love that they have sauces out in ramekins already ready to grab and go. This is now my go to spot for a burger in Fremont! After dinner, we went to dessert side and ordered two kookie dough biscoff milkshakes, matcha and Oreo milkshake, caramel apple and walnut cheesecake, and scoop of strawberry ice cream. There are a bunch of games on the dessert side so we played UNO. Not all the games have all the pieces but it was fun having a quick game night there after dinner.

Absolutely Love this place! If you ever want to eat a Good Burger this Is the place! However there is other items on the menu that's very delicious as well! I love the fresh french friesThey have a good bar drink selection, dessert selection and just overall a great place to watch a game , hang out and have family time. They have plenty of screen tv's inside and outside! The outdoor dining is nice and very chill. Had the pleasure to meet the owners too! They are super nice and I will definitely be back again soon! Follow the page on IG or facebook for any events or specials they may have! Great service and the ambiance and cleanliness of the restaurant was great!

Get the baked beans. Trust me on this.

I found the place a little pricey (you'll notice I complain about that a lot ), but overall a great experience. The food tasted really good with the exception of the shake which was disappointing. I didn't have any adult beverages but I do like that they have a full bar. I was most impressed by the linguica baked beans. Those were delicious! The burger was good too. It's counter order and then they bring it to your table. It wasn't too busy so that went smoothly. Service was VERY FRIENDLY as a whole even laughing with us as they took our empty trays. If you sit in the row of booths be aware that the few closest to the door do get hit with the door breeze when it opens. I wouldn't sit in that part on a cold day. Pretty chill place.

AMAZING RESTAURANT. Gotta be one of my Fremont favs and I'm surprised that I've never visited until now despite visiting this town for several years. Restaurant has lots of personality and the staff are super friendly, welcoming, and you can tell that this is a community staple because there was a large retirement party for teacher there, regulars at the bar had their usual go-to's and were chatting each other up and the staff were asking how client's friends and family were, so you know that it's a well loved place and the workers enjoy the environment too. There's indoor seating, a sort of semi outside window covered patio seating, bar seating, and there's a dessert bar to the side too where you can get various candies, shakes, and ice cream. They have board games and GIANT GUESS WHO which I've never seen before. Then I saw that they have an award on Yelp for being #28 top family restaurants in the US. Awesome! It's easy to see why as well. Neat decor everywhere and fun theming. The walk up "drive thru" window for orders is pretty cool too. They have Lunch and Happy Hour menus with seasonal and limited specials too. For our later lunch, we got the: 1) Grilled Cheese Smashburger with bacon and thousand island sauce: -Came with a side of their fries which tasted like they were fried with canola oil ala the same style as In-N-Out. Flavorful with a slight crisp. Addictingly good. -Burger was sizeable and easily shareable. Delicious and the grilled buttery bun with the umami taste of the meat, the tangy thousand island sauce, super good. 2) Deep Fried Cheese Ravioli: -Comes with a hearty helping of marinara sauce. -Nice mix of crispiness of the ravioli exterior that's a bit salty with the creamy mozzarella cheese in the middle, great for a shorter cheese pull that went great with the marinara sauce with the Italian spices mixed in. We took these to go after eating a couple and they were delicious after being put in the air fryer again. I would love to go back to try more of their burgers and maybe have enough stomach space for shake or some ice cream!

I don't leave reviews often and it pains me to leave this one. This place has gone down hill since its first opening. The quality of food was disappointing. I always order the el diablo burger. Knowing exactly what's always come on it for the past two years (not sure exactly how long they've been open) and the quality of what it used to taste like, I was disappointed when a rather regular looking burger came out. What used to be a healthy dose of the sauce and ingredients they put on, the server was surprised I told her it was missing the peppers, avocado, and more sauce. They burger had zero spice to it. I also ordered a cocktail and felt like they just threw the ingredients together and it came out super sweet. Lastly, the "happy hour" menu at the bar is really not a happy hour menu. If you compare some of the prices of the same items they offer on "happy hour" yours literally only saving a $1-3 dollars. A $25+ sandwich on the happy hour menu is ridiculous. It was cheaper to get a burger than it was for the sandwich. Even the sliders they offer are put together with nothing but meat and a giant slice of cheese. Nothing special, and just as much as a burger off the regular menu. The zucchini fries also tasted like old zucchini drenched in oil to cover up that the vegetable was probably a good 3-5 days old. :/ didn't taste fresh (I know, I ordered a fried food I get the irony here but it used to taste better and fresher) It'll be a long time before I come back here again. The final straw was the ridiculous AI generated photos they used. I was literally like "dude what?!? Just take a real photo of your actual food". Really sad to see the small but rather noticeable cost cutting measures being implemented. Used to be my favorite place to eat and hang, now not so much. You'll spend less at in and out or shake shack and it'll taste much the same...Take the family there instead!

I came here with a large party to celebrate a graduation. The spacious restaurant was packed with families and kids' sports teams. There was a long line to place an order with the cashier but after that, service was quick. Portions are massive, especially the salads. We ended up bringing a lot of food home. The burgers were a bit dry even for a medium-rare cook. My favorites were the garlic lemon pepper wings and the bacon cheeseburger egg rolls (Special of the Day).

First time at Billy Roy's burgers tonight. Order at the counter and they'll bring your order to your table. After a long 18 mile hike in Sunol. I got haystack burger lettuce wrapped. I appreciate the lettuce wrap but they triple wrapped it in lettuce. The burger patty itself was on the dry side. Also, got the cali chicken burger which was a ground chicken patty again dry patty. My full order of fries were on the not as crispy side. My friend's half order fries were crispy. A little inconsistent there. The service by the older lady at the counter could've been friendlier but it was 8 pm on a Saturday and I'm sure she just wanted to go home but still. The service from the kids was a lot better. I do like that they have a lot of sauces to grab, Tabasco, A1, ranch, bbq etc. Bar seating and regular seating. Clean bathrooms. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Parking lot

Enjoying lunch at Billy Roy's! The food is delicious with so much variety on the menu--there's something for everyone. The vibe is sporty, family-friendly, and has that nostalgic old-school café feel all in one. We love coming here!

The food is awesome. It's never the food that has a problem. This is now the third time I've come and got an attitude from the milkshake lady. She is rude doesn't want to wait for you to makeup your mind of what you want. If you don't order right away she walks away. You're not important enough to have her attention. After I ordered this time I took my milkshake back because it tastes like a plain chocolate shake. I ordered a malt shake. She wants to argue with me and tell me she put it in there even though I told her my husband also said there's no malt in the shake. She was only willing to make a different shake and not the one I ordered. There is absolutely no customer service skills. Wasted my money and my time. Rude and disrespectful person.

I have passed by this place numerous times and I was curious. It pleasantly surprised me! We went on a Saturday night, it's huge so there's no worrying about parking or seating! Loved how many options they have for food and drinks and they have an ice cream section! Service was fantastic, food came quick, they were very attentive and kind. Food was delicious! We got the Grilled Hawaiian and the Sliders and the Wedge Salad. And the Strawberry shake. The only tiny reason it's not 5 stars is the ambiance. It's clean and nice but the place is loud and not the comfiest seats lol. I'm just being nit picky. Will definitely be back or ordering delivery!

Finally got around to trying this spot and overall had a really nice experience. The setup is super clean and modern, and the service was great from start to finish. I also ended up ordering a michelada which I really enjoyed! Food-wise, the burger was good (honestly hard to go wrong there), but it didn't totally wow me. The chipotle chicken sandwich, though, was really enjoyable and had great flavor. Only small suggestion would be for the garlic fries- using fresh garlic instead of garlic seasoning would take them to the next level. Since I live nearby, I'd definitely come back for a drink and maybe a sandwich. It's a solid neighborhood spot, even if it's not somewhere I'd go out of my way for.

Half order of Zucchini Fries Full order of Onion Rings

Came in on a Friday around 5:00pm and there wasn't too many people. We ordered upfront and chose a place to sit. There's plenty of booths, outdoor seating, and bar sitting. I was contemplating on sitting at the bar since I saw they have a happy hour menu but was split on what I wanted to order so ordered off their regular menu upfront. The bar has its own food menu with completely different items while the dessert area also has its own menu with milkshakes and desserts. Ordering can be kind of confusing if you want to order from all three, which I'm still trying to figure out if you hypothetically could order a milkshake, happy hour bar item, and regular menu item if I were to sit at the bar. We ordered the Diablo burger, half order of Zucchini Fries, full order of Onion Rings, and the Chipotle Pesto sandwich. The portions were actually pretty big for the price so I think it was well worth the money as we had leftovers. Definitely could have split half an order of side amongst us two since our entrees were big. My husband enjoyed his burger and barely finished it as the size was mighty. I like that the already brought a knife out to cut it. My Chipotle Pesto sandwich was good. A little messy but had good flavor and chicken was juicy. The zucchini fries were good but could use some more flavor in my opinion. Luckily, they had pretty good chipotle ranch and regular ranch I drenched them in. Overall, great spot! Tons of seating and parking. Friendly service as well. Food came out within 5 minutes so I was quite surprised and happy because I was hungry. Will be back to try out the happy hour menu and desserts next time.

The more you come here the more you like the place. Why do I say that? One word; consistency. You come in friendly greeting will take you order. Answer questions make modifications if needed. Great menu of burgers and some chicken sandwiches. You pay for it at the counter and they deliver it to you very quickly. Staff checks on you while you're eating and picks up your empty plates etc as you're done. The burgers are big so come with an appetite. Love the onion rings and a sweet potato fries. The beans are also good. If you have room, there's some great dessert options, including milkshakes and ice cream, etc. in the back.

So I…read moredecided to come here since I was interested with it specially with how they design this place. It's quite small when I got here. I like the way they design this place since artworks are good here. There was one employee who seems to be taking over the restaurant, and he is patient and nice. I took my time to scroll over the menu since I'm new here and also they have plenty of options. They come in different sizes ranging from 4-8 inches. They sound smaller since skinnier sandwiches less than that size are small. I got an 8-inch Reuben sandwich and wow...I was expecting it to be smaller, but this is probably because of the bread they choose and how kinda packed the meat is. Now, I see why 8-inch is considered the largest. About the Reuben sandwich, it's really good and meaty. The crunchiness of the bread is on point since it's toasted very well. Also, the way he cut the sandwich was uneven since the first half of the sandwich is slightly larger than the second half. Don't know why but I guess it's part of the process. They have other options including soups, salads, and Mac & cheese. I'm looking forward to trying those including other sandwiches. Hopefully, I don't take too much time scrolling on the menu when I come back.

I also paid for extra cheese on my sandwich. After leaving the restaurant and driving to a meeting, I started eating and realized the extra cheese I paid for was missing. I called the restaurant to let them know about the mistake, expecting a simple apology or an offer to make it right. Instead, the person who identified himself as the owner argued with me, insisting that the extra cheese had been added. I politely explained that it was not on my sandwich, but he continued to debate me rather than listen to his customer. Eventually, I ended the call because the conversation was going nowhere. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What I don't understand is the lack of customer service and the unwillingness to simply acknowledge the issue and resolve it. My advice to anyone ordering here is to check your order carefully before leaving the restaurant. If something is missing, don't expect a customer-focused response if you call about it afterward.
