This Chinese restaurant is average, and is one of the more affordable restaurants right now. I don't like their dumplings very much. They are made with chicken instead of pork, and they are dry and hard. I think their hot & soup is decent, but not great. I did enjoy the lo mein, beef with broccoli, and coconut shrimp. The spring rolls are average, but I do enjoy the egg rolls. They are one of the few Chinese restaurants in Colorado to serve egg rolls, like they do in the eastern US. Also, no items are $1.50 inches we scoop anymore, and they start at $2 now. I would recommend driving up to Dragon Inn in Eaton instead, and it's also very affordable with much higher quality food. read more

Don't be intimidated by the name. We've been coming here almost weekly since 2014 since I first started going to college. Never once had food poisoning. Sometimes the lo mein is a little older- but that is just what happens when you pop in during a random hour when they aren't busy. They usually are packed during typical dinner hours- and for good reason. $20 can feed two adults for 3 meals each. I have a lot of fond memories of this place and the older woman smiling and remembering me, my husband, and our friend who used to work at the neighboring domino's. She notices when we haven't been around in a while and it is so touching when most other places don't give a thought about you at all. I can't speak for ordering online or over the phone- we always are more than happy to drive over and either go through their drive thru or walk in. I'm so so happy they have survived the pandemic. It's pretty great food for the price. The quality is similar to what you might get at a mall food court Chinese place or Panda Express maybe. But you can get a large, pretty good meal for under $5. The pot stickers were good could've been cooked longer but maybe I like crispy ones. The inside was alr 7.5/10 the wontons were good. The inside was sweet and it was crisped just right.8.5/10. (Food supposed to be ready at 5:53 turned out to be 6:35, no ability to pay online, no shelf to just walk in and pick up order.) Good cheap Chinese fast food. I like the coconut shrimp and the chicken (when it's not hard). The crab cheese wontons are probably the best. They are filled well with the crab and cheese. Many places skimp on the filling, but these are filled much more than most. Food is $1.50 but it adds up and some items are more than the $1.50 You can eat inside or take the door to-go. They also have drive thru and it has decent hours. I believe it closes at 9pm, but check inside. Parking is easy but can get filled up. Location is easy too. Right off the main drag (business 34 which I believe is also 10th street). They don't always carry the teriyaki chicken and the low mein isn't always hot and fresh. So 4 out of 5 stars for them. read more

Been here enough they know us! The employees always smile so nicely you have smile back. The food is out of this world, especially the hibachi chicken, we always have to get 2 orders of it! The coconut shrimp is my favorite, I always get sad when Ive eaten in all. And theres ALWAYS leftovers and they last a few days before we actually eat it all! read more

I must admit I was pretty skeptical when I was told we'd be getting food from there earlier for lunch. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken and 2 spring rolls. Both were really, really good! I've driven by this place hundreds of times but was honestly intimidated by the "$1.50 a scoop" name. We wanted some Chinese food that wasn't Panda Express and decided to finally check this place out and were so glad we did. Fed a family of four and then some for $20 (which would be significantly more had we ordered the same thing from panda). I was able to order ahead on the phone, they also have a drive thru. The employees were super helpful over the phone and made the experience that much better. 10/10 would go again. read more

Most of the reviews here are about two or more years old so let me give something recent. When I went here I had super low expectations because of the name. It didn't seem appetizing? Also the fact that it was an old Dunkin Donuts was pretty strange. I didn't know "scoop" restaurants were a thing. But the food was actually pretty good! The coconut shrimp was very enjoyable. When they say scoop... They mean a giant, heaping, SCOOP. Will eat here over Panda Express any day. Food is served on a take-home Styrofoam plate so dont have over-the-top expectations but it definelty is good tasting and great for a lazy dinner night. I went there for dinner yesterday evening because it's cheap. I had only had my daily morning shake and a banana for lunch, so I was feeling a little more hungry and I read they gave decent portions, which they do. But when I got home, I started feeling queasy. I frequent this business once a week(not the healthiest place but it is delicious!). The staff is and has always been super friendly since day one. They actually have spicy dishes which is pretty hard to find around here. You can also request for more chili oil if you would like. The portions are HUGE and the food is always hot and fresh. Also very cheap. If they are towards the bottom of a pan they will ask you to wait and they whip up some more real quick so you don't have to have the last of it. Over the holidays, I came back to Greeley to visit family and was stoked to learn that they had opened a fast food Chinese restaurant other than Panda Express. Living in California for the past 8 years, I've experienced my fair share of these type of joints...some good, and some not so good. This place definitely falls under the 'not so good' category. My sister pre-warned me that the staff was rude, and she wasn't mistaken. I wouldn't simply chalk it up to "language barrier," though. These people rush you along as you order, and actually act inconvenienced that you're patronizing their establishment. Aside from that, I found their food lukewarm and not-so-fresh. As the other reviewer mentioned, it simply tasted "old." Their hibachi chicken was actually pretty tasty, but their spicy chicken was oddly breaded and WAY too spicy. I also ordered shrimp and chicken, and it was quite honestly the strangest dish I had ever encountered at a Chinese restaurant. It was almost as though they had old shrimp from one dish, old chicken from another dish, and combined them with a few random, overcooked vegetables to try to salvage them and peddle them to customers. I managed to choke down a little bit of it, but even my sister's dog refused to touch the leftovers. I'd highly recommend Wonderful Inn in the parking lot across the street, or Canton Garden if you're across town. Anywhere but this place. Their rude service, questionable food, and ridiculous parking lot will not warrant a second visit. read more

I eat there about once a week, and I have to admit that even though I am usually a stickler for authentic foods, this is one of those little dives that you should indulge in every once in awhile.
