Want to get plumbing job done professionally ? Look no further. I've been a returning customer after the first service done by Josh. Turns out the cheap plumbing work I got done by other plumber end up costing more because it was not installed properly and start leaking. Called this company and they answered and got it fix the same day. So far had no problem from any of their work. They also leave the workksite clean when they are done. I highly recommend getting a 2nd opinion. Based on their positive reviews, I had them come out to take a look at an issue. It was helpful that they came out the next day, and within the time window they gave me. One of the guys (not Josh) went into the crawl space, and summarized the pipe situation to Josh. Based on that alone, Josh gave me an estimate for a job that would take 3 days with 2 people at a ballpark cost of $13k. I told him that was well above what I thought would be needed so I'd need time to think about it. I asked him to send me a formal proposal, which he promised to do. That was on a Friday, and by the following Monday, Josh still hadn't sent me a proposal. I had another plumber come by to assess the situation. His diagnosis of the issue was roughly the same, but the cost was less than 1/4 of Josh's estimate, and could be done with 2 guys in one day. Obviously, I went with the other plumber, and they just finished up. This review isn't about the quality of this company's work. It was good that their diagnosis wasn't too different from someone else. But clearly their pricing is off the charts, so I highly recommend getting a second quote for whatever issue you have, and then make your decision on who to go with. read more

Great service and great value! I've been slacking on getting my thankless water heater maintenance so I reached out on yelp here for a quote to just do some a routine flush of it. Many of the companies had to ask for my phone number and wanted to give a full consultation and had the technician come look at it before they could price the project. Only a few gave me a straightforward, quick quote on the project. And 1Day was one of them. Needless to say they were also the best price. They came out the next day right on the scheduled time. They got to work right away, no fuss, no attitude. They even took the time to make sure that the debris didn't clog my sink faucets after they flushed the tank. They were done in 45 min and were super nice and polite the whole time. That night I noticed that my shower head wasn't getting warm and I messaged them. They came back the next day to clean out the heads for me as well. They took the time also to explain why it wasn't getting warm and apologized for overlooking this the day before. (I have one of those misty shower heads that's a bit... special, which they didn't realize). They left without charging me anything extra. This is their second time visiting and this visit is mainly focusing on installing a recessed washer and dryer outlet box which they did an amazing job at (see photos for progress). They repiped the draining pipe as well so it will all be hidden in one clean box. The also included patching up drywall in this service so it was a easy decision to go with them. A lot of the shops out there wouldn't patch up the wall for you so be aware of that! First visit was focusing on a leaky faucet which was solved quickly and effectively. These guys are the real thing and I am so glad I found them this summer when we had a major sewer issue in our 108 year old house. They were nice, responsive, knowledgeable, professional and they use advanced material to clearly show the inside of the pipes. They worked hard for 2 days, digging and replacing the old pipes. Don't know what happened to these guys! Just disappeared after we met with Josh about two weeks (2/22) ago for an estimate for a cleanout, repair of a sewer line. Josh showed up and he reviewed the sewer line in question and recommended either replacing the sewer line or descale, flush, and camera inspect the line. We inquired about inserting a liner into the pipe (cast iron) as we already had an estimate for that from another company. He recommended against the liner has they do not last very long (30 to 40 years is not good?!). Any way, he then quoted us a price of $2500.00 to descale, flush and camera inspect the line. He was available to do this the next day. After more discussion, he said he could seal the inside of the sewer line with an epoxy but didn't know what the additional cost would be; he'd would look it up and get back to me. At this point, we were interested in hiring him, but wanted to know the cost of the epoxy before making a decision. I then asked him for a written estimate. He replied, "I can give you one, but it will cost you $180.00." Huh!? So much for a free estimate! I guess verbal estimates are free but not written ones?! At any rate, Josh said he will get back to me with the additional cost for the epoxy, later today, as we were still thinking we might hire him to do the job. Despite a text message and a phone call that same day he came out--and reassurances from Josh he will get back to us--we never received a response from him or anyone else associated with this company! They're not trying to rip you off and upsell, like at other places we've used. They've performed work at three different places for us so far. I set up a project request on Yelp and heard back from 1 Day Rooter and Plumbing within 10 minutes. Josh came to our house on an emergency call when our toilets wouldn't flush down and the shower didn't drain. First they tried snaking the drain but found out there was a clog further down the pipe. He and his team returned the next morning in the pouring rain to climb on the roof and send a camera through the pipe.
