Aloha, A-Team! Driver sent out a group text the night before the tour of all hotel pick-up locations and times, tight schedule for pickups to ensure we were ahead of the crowds. This meant better picture-taking at sights. I appreciated not being stuck with all the other tours (larger buses). It was a van and our group was 8 people total. We were visiting from California, but we had others from New York, Canada, and Australia! The air-conditioning was struggling a tiny bit but still tolerable and much better than the humidity outside. We were supposed to have Captain Justin, but he was sick and we actually got the owner himself, Captain "Vincenzo" Vince! It's an all-day excursion. Included was pickup/dropoff from Waikiki, entrance to the Byodo-In Temple, but not the Botanical Garden/Waimea Waterfall , and lunch, other local treats along the way at your own expense. A great way to see many Oahu attractions in a single day, including North Shore. My favorite parts were the Leonard's Malasada, Byodo-In Temple, Waimea Garden/Falls, Dole Plantation, Mac Farm. So much history, and flora/fauna and food ops! Captain Vince was a fun character! He was enthusiastic every moment of the drive, even taking photos of pairs/whole group. First off...get the Kansas Cheeks stickers off the van...horrible. Haha! Justin is a wicked cool tour guide. He gave a great tour talking about the history of the people and the land, highlighted certain spots, and was just all around great guy...except for one thing...he's a 40 Whiners fan. All good. I was able to retain certain spots and info he spoke about. I knew this because when we came back from our Norwegian cruise...some friends took us on the same route and I was actually letting them know about certain spots Justin spoke about! We had a schedule to stick to and he did a great job sticking to it and not getting all hurried or bothered if people were running behind a bit. I like how they used the smaller vans instead of tour busses. It makes for easier maneuvering and more personal for his bit. read more

What an amazing tour! From start to finish, Captain Vince kept my wife and I laughing throughout. He was a wealth of information regarding the different stops, and made the tour so much better than other circle island tours I have been on. On our family vacation to Hawaii my uncle booked a tour of the island. Honestly we should have done this the first day.after the tour I was ready to stay another 4 days.. only to do all the things Captin Vience suggested during the tour. Especially the hikes since he would go with. That powder was everything I had to stop by Safeway and buy some before I left Hawaii.(judge me it's ok) I was excited about going to the north shore thinking we would go to Giovanni's for lunch I was disappointed because uncle Vience took us to fumis.. it was soo good I got the garlic butter with a side of spicy butter .the stop at the exotic fruit stand they had Turon that was hot and fresh I left with a full bag.. other than the food stops we stops at some places with great views to take pictures. If I could add more stars I would. The tour was amazing. "Captain Vince" is the best. He is very punctual, efficient and informative. He goes above and beyond to make the experience as best as possible. Not only did he give us an amazing tour. The next evening we attended a luau, and our Uber cancelled on our party last minute. Many other people had their Uber reservation cancelled as well. We were all stranded at the sea life park. I called Captain Vince at around 8:30pm and without hesitation, gave me an ETA. Once he arrived, he also was offered to take as many people as he could. There were about 20 of us that he picked up in total and dropped off every single person at the hotel they were staying at. My wife set up the 1 Epic Tours booking for us and our two children ages 7 and 5 to add to our visit to Honolulu, of which I thought of myself as just going along for the ride. Within the first few minutes of stepping into the van my mind set changed and I perked up with excitement.
