7/3/25 Sites and Bites tour with Cy as the tour driver. I highly recommend this tour. The driver is very well knowledged the seating and the ride over and into the east side of the island is exceptional. We got to see Hanama bay lookout, the stop at Makapuu trail, Holona Blowhole. And cracked open macadamia nuts at tropical macadamia farms.. there were turtles that were out at Puena beach . But I decided to buy some delicious $5-$8 shave ice from KAMANANUI shave ice with ice cream and condensed milk, the flavors I had were coconut and blue Hawaii. Very enjoyable. Cy, had given our group a great explanation on much of the sites a lot of details on the area, how the people of Hawaii mostly the native Hawaiians are in Homestead lands, and or waiting for more land. It is a very interesting history. It's very good to have someone telling you these things about the culture and the people especially when you don't get to often see places that you have to find out about and it's done all in one day I highly recommend the store if you go.... Note also that your lunch is included. My lunch was a salt and pepper shrimp. It was really good. And also we stopped at a fruit shack where farmers of the island there grew yellow watermelon that's popular in the south of US. Delicious food... and a great bunch of people. Lovely way to spend the day, driving along the coast and stopping at scenic views and local places to eat and shop. The tour stopped by major site along the coast- Hanauma Bay, Chinaman Hat, the beach with the turtles, and more. The stop for the garlic shrimp also had shave ice and other treats. Also visited macadamia nut farm with generous delicious samples. Dole plantation wasn't really worth it- there wasn't much to do except shop for overpriced souvenirs. Our tour guide Sai was very knowledgeable, friendly, and made the trip interesting with personal stories. The van was kind of old and the air conditioning was weak, though. We were sold a "wholesale travel" membership by this company. The presentation was full of misrepresentations and outright lies. When originally confronted regarding the false claims, they continued to lie and mislead. The membership they try to sell you DOES NOT give you access to "wholesale pricing not available to the general public". They will tell you that their "travel services" are backed by a 110% guarantee. This is also not accurate. Flights (and I believe cruises) are excluded. Additionally, the restrictions/qualifications on the guarantee are such that it is extremely difficult to claim even for the items that are not directly excluded. I would have rated this experience 5 stars, but unfortunately I can't. Everything was great until the drop-off. We were not dropped off anywhere near our pick-up spot. The driver insisted he mentioned the drop-off location, but he did not, and we ended up having to take a Lyft back to our hotel. read more

Our day started out very early - and what a fun filled day. Cousin Sai (not sure of the spelling) was an exceptional guide and driver. He definitely has a passion for the Travel Industry. Would give ZERO stars if possible. They make promises of stops they were nit made. This company is deceitful and does not value their customers. We took the Circle tour on September 3, 2025 we did get to stop at alot of places it was a drive by. Then the bus broke down, the drice pulled over and said get off the bus it's on fire. We were stuck on the side of the rode for an hour. We have not heard from Aloha Hawaii Tour . Had the best experience with Aloha Hawaii Tours yesterday!! For starters, they were very prompt with answering my frantic call about getting late to the meeting point because of unexpected traffic problems. Then when we finally did get to the meeting place, the guide/driver, Shelly, was so understanding. She calmed our nervous energy, and just set a very fun atmosphere. She then proceeded to give a very thorough narrative about the sites where we stopped and places where we were just passing through. She told interesting background history that gave an average tourist understanding of the Hawaiian culture. They are connected with a membership scam don't let them talk you out of your money they say that the memberships are nonrefundable and they promised that they are going to be lower than Priceline and Expedia. They charge you $199 a year and then over $2500 for the 10 year membership and then when you get the login and you go in and you start really looking at what they offer you, you realize that the hotels are minimal for each area and yes they are a couple of bucks lower than a Priceline or booking for 4 or so in the area but if you go to booking you can get other hotels that are not available through the membership that are a lot lowe. I work for a ministry that take in homeless and sex-traffic and abused women. I don't have alot of time off to w have 21 days a year I get 3 vacations and sick time.. I travel about 3 times a year the membership perks of a 1,500 points is such a farce because at each of these of places or airlines require 50,000 points to book in through this membership! The airlines is just a message on deals instead of being able to get "deals" it is a scam I guess I will now have bad credit because I refuse to pay all that money for nothing. Keith was our tour guide today and he was pretty awesome. A little bit ADHD.... But overall a wonderfully fun, entertaining and educational experience. He was extremely patient with those that did not adhere to specific time lines. I would suggest that he have a better system during lunch time because he was running all over the place trying to make sure everybody got there food. If the owners of the company encourage the drivers to do this, I would strongly suggest they reevaluate. NOT A GOOD TRIP FOR MINORITIES!!! We've been told that the food and drink are not allowed in the bus, but since there's a white family bring their ice bream on board so i thought our driver was flexible about the food restrictions so I wasn't rush to finish my own. When we were about to get on the bus, our driver told us that we have to finish the ice cream outside, and the driver was so rude and not well educated, she honked at us!! We had two kids!! !What kind of people honked at kids??? All of us almost were scared to death especially my two little kids. As for the tour itself, this tour was completely a joke. 90% of the trip was just shopping including the pineapple plantation. My suggestion is to rent a car or take an Uber, and stay far from this tour Lastly, my driver was Mary, even though she was racist and rude, I still tipped her. I hope she can understand that there are so many other ways to communicate with people other than just using the horns. read more

We went on the Sights and Bites tour, and the Pearl Harbor tour, both tour guides (Shelly and I can't remember the other man's name, other than he called himself Big Sexy, lol) were amazing! Both knowledgeable and funny locals who love to engage in friendly conversations and crack a few jokes. They also knew a lot about the tales of the land (which I'm sure is part of their culture) and it was very interesting hear these stories while seeing the island of Oahu. Went on the Grand Circle Island tour, with the snorkeling option yesterday. Ian and Dennis were a great combo! Ian ran the tour with a lot humor and insight of the island. Denise drove the bus and was super chill, but a lot of fun too. We were lucky enough to see lots of cool fish during our time snorkeling. There was a turtle, but unfortunately I missed it. Took my 12 year old son, and he enjoyed taking lots of scenic pictures at the various stops, snorkeling, plus Ian and Dennis' jokes. Would highly recommend the tour if you have a full day open! I bought two tickets and the driver never picked my sister and I up. We waited there for an hour and no drivers showed up. The manager admitted fault over the phone but was extremely rude and told me he'd only give me a partial refund. Spoiler alert, he did not give me any refund and it's been more than a week already. I spoke to a few other people who have been on this tour and they all agree that the company is unprofessional and their tours are a trap. Also, they sent me a Google calendar with the wrong pickup time, which also wasted a lot of our time. TLDR: driver never picked us up despite getting to the pickup spot 30 minutes earlier. read more

This is based entirely on me and my husband's great experience in the tour and doesn't sugar coat anything at all. I don't filter things out, so my review is valid and you can trust me. I suck at lying. IAN was definitely a top notcher in customer service! He was a very laid back funny guy. He made sure that we beat all the crowds during the tour and gave us a very clear instructions in every stop over that we did. He was also very informative and made the trip a very "Ohana" like, which I appreciate the most. The entire duration of the tour was full of laughter and never have I ever thought of checking my phone to browse, which goes to show that my mind is definitely "on vacation mode" and I am having the best day of my Life. I work in customer service and I know when someone loves their job. IAN was the kind of person who happened to found the perfect job for him. Ryan was an amazing tour guide! He was able to share a lot of facts and knowledge about Hawaii!
