This Japanese Lady staff is not polite! so sad with her attitude towards the passenger. I'm holding a 3 months old but still screaming while we're paying in-front of the pink bus. I hope the management will evaluate the staff manner. So sad with our vacation here in waikiki.

Getting around Waikiki can be a hassle. Between one-way streets, heavy traffic, and crowds of pedestrians who don't always follow the signals, driving there isn't my idea of fun -- not to mention most hotels charge $50 or more per night for parking. That's why I found the Waikiki Trolley Hop-On Hop-Off such a great option for getting around. I bought the All-Line 4-Day pass and rode every route except the Pink Line (the shopping line). It turned out to be a great way to explore -- from hiking Diamond Head, to taking in the coastline and blowhole views, to getting to the KCC Farmer's Market on Saturday morning. Since I'm not much of a shopper, skipping the Pink Line was no loss for me. The drivers added a lot to the experience -- they gave light commentary along the way, pointed out landmarks, and were always willing to answer questions. If I had to nitpick, I'd say real-time schedule tracking would make things even better, and it would be nice if the Blue Line added a couple more stops, especially one at Hanauma Bay. Overall, though, it's a convenient, affordable, and enjoyable way to see the highlights of Waikiki without dealing with the stress of driving and parking.

Had a terrific ride on the Waikiki trolley hop-on hop-off. Our drivers on the red line were knowledgeable and excellent drivers. The last drop off point was 20 minutes away from our final destination and the walk in the rain was not pleasant. Great historical tour of the island. Highly recommended

When staying in Waikiki, this is the cheapest way to get around the immediate area. Obviously, people get on and off varying stops so seating would be available if you start off standing. It's a really great way to see Waikiki if you have no idea how to start. For $6 in 2025 you can see and visit the area.

Had a great tour on the Blue Line today! I realized though that this is a better activity to start in the morning; I only had half an hour at my stop, oops. I enjoyed it regardless! Don't be afraid to share more of the cultural and historic importance of things. I really enjoyed that part, but there were a couple of comments like "people get offended when we share this." That sounds like a them problem! I will say it was a little weird getting rained on inside the trolly and the winds were too strong for me to handle at times. Some kind of window cover upgrade might be a good thing to consider too. ;)

This is the most fun ride ever . You must ride on the 2nd floor . The wind is nice it's cool unbelievable breeze. Not mention the views are spectacular !! You are so high up in the trees and plant life it's beautiful nice way to appreciate the greenery all the colors. This is a fun way to get around Waikiki with handful of useful stops. Night or day it's blast super fun !!

Best $6 deal for all day bus ride. Pink Line 1-Day Pass is the ticket. Dude who was driving was hilarious. Not only could "Dude" drive, he was very good with greeting people with his multi-natural ability to bs. He always acknowledged his passengers as well as the many tourist along his route. I recommend not sitting next to open window on right side of upper deck. Mahalo to the "Dude"

Super friendly & knowledgable. I left my family at the hotel and did the blue line tour solo. I felt super safe and relaxed. Next time I'm getting off to grab food at one of the stops.

We bought a one-day pass for the Red-Line (historic route in downtown Waikiki). We jumped on the first bus at 10:00. Elena was our driver and guide. She did a great job sharing information about the sights along the route. Our only hesitation before recommending the trolley if the frequency of the route. If you get off, the next bus isn't for another hour. Hop-on/Hop-off buses we've used in other cities had a greater frequency. Also, some of the trolleys we saw later were full with riders standing. A day pass is $34/person for a single line.

But also not recommended if you have a health condition, with restrictions. Before you arrive, you need to make a reservation on their website. It's more convenient because you can pay for the parking on there as well. When you receive your email confirmation, it will give you a once use QR code. You will get this scanned in the entrance and it will cover you for parking. NOTE: when making reservations, you will select times slots. Morning slots do fill up first, so put that into consideration if you were planning to do this hike. Right across from the visitor center they have the restrooms. These restrooms are the cleanest restrooms I've ever seen. They even have changing stations for mom's with babies. Sinks also have soap and water. The outside of the bathrooms, they have water fountains, and water dispensers for you to fill up your water bottles. Me and my sister did this hike and the time slot we got was for noon. The sun is out! I suggest you carry your sunblock with you while on the hike because you will need to reapply as you keep moving upwards. The sun is out and you will feel it. This hike is also nice because it has designated resting spots with benches in case you need to pull over get a drink and catch your breath. Somewhere towards the top, you will reach a huge flight of stairs. That's very steep, if you like a challenge, the stairs will lead you closer to the top. But if you take the left path, that's a pathway with rails. That is completely doable, for the slower hikers, like myself. And on the bright side, the left side path does come with a view. When you are all done with your hike, they have some very cute souvenirs at the visit center. Very cute hello Kitty merchandise as well, if you are a fan. ALSO!! GET A SWEET TREAT! on the far right next to the visitor center there are two food trucks parked that sell shaved ice, and Dole whips!! I had a great experience! I'm so happy I get across this hike off of my list.
