Called in-Fri 5/5/23: I called at 4:45p to get clarification about the abandoned vehicle process. I was first given another number within their company to call (versus also being warm transferred). Office hours say they're opened till 7p-Mon-Fri however, after 20min on hold on Fri-5/5/23 & no one coming back to tell me to keep holding, or ask for my number to call me back. I assume, they're just busy prepping for the weekend & don't want to be bothered with customers. I do not recommend, the DMV provided me w/ an extensive list of inspecting agencies, I'll be taking my business elsewhere, you should too. read more

If I could give zero stars for this place I would. My parents and I needed to come here to switch a title. Never ever will I EVER refer anyone here. Rude rude employees with absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. The wait was long but that wasn't the issue, the issue I had was with customer service. I wish I would've gotten her name. Why is the line so insanely long in this place?? I'm pretty frustrated with my experience here. The first time I came here, I could not get my license issued because of a camera issue. The second time, they told me that license won't be issued until 10 am on Saturday. This is the 5036 W Cactus Road. The website states that drivers license is issued from 8:30 am on Sat. What's with the discrepancy? Update the website if the hours changed. Now when I came back the third time, the line was so damn long that I left. Isn't the point of third party ADOT for quicker process and convenience? Don't we pay extra for that here? Why is the staff operating so slow and seems like there's lack of staffing? What do I need to do ever get my license issued here? Very disappointing. Update: went to a different location and were issued my drivers license without any wait or issues at all. Got my vehicle registration renewed here and all the employees were incredibly helpful and professional. The manager Glenda actually went out of her way and saved me over $60 on my registration by changing something on the form I was not aware of, she did not have to go out of her way to do that. Don't take your teenager to do their road test here. The females that work here, especially Clarissa have an attitude and expect a teenager to understand what is expected from them without any explanation. I took my kid here and was failed for minor things. I took her to the location on 43rd and Bell and she passed. At the end of her test the guy that did her test explained to her what she did correctly and what she needed to work on and why. Save your time and go elsewhere. read more

Go ANYWHERE else! My son went here to do his road test. They give the parking test first without ANY instruction (they have tall cones set up but no arrows showing where to enter). They were rude when he tried to enter from the wrong opening (again there are NO signs or Arrows indicating the set up and they gave NO instructions!) and when he tried to adjust his position because of the lack of initial instruction they failed him. A fast $35 bucks for them if they can fail you before they give the driving test and help you fail by failing to give instructions and then rattling you by being rude. read more

Chaotic and disorganized. It took me over an hour to get drivers license renewed! I went here instead of MVD thinking there would be decent social distancing and quick processing. While chairs were distanced 6' apart, most of the people in the building were not wearing masks. Workers were not wearing masks either. Went here on Friday to utilize their 3rd party DMV services. Paid with my bank card, which I vary rarely use. Saturday I receive a call from my bank letting me know about fraudulent charges on my account using the same card I had just used the day before. Called and tried to speak with the manager and he didn't seem too concerned, he either put the phone down and walked away or hung up on me. If you go here pay cash, because the employees clearly can't be trusted and their manager obviously doesn't care. read more

I took a morning off of work to according to a letter I received from MVD pay a 20.00 app fee and take a new dr lic photo. This place told me that there was a block on my licence and that I needed to take a class to get my licence. I called my boss took the day off meaning I now had to work Saturday. I went home and tried to do the class online only to be told that I was not eligible. I was so frustrated. I called MVD, sat on hold for 35 mins only to be told "they were wrong" come to a MVD office and we will take care of it. Now I dont know what to think. This place said take the class or your licence will be suspended till u do. once again MVD said wrong. Now I'm just worried. I have to work. cant get to MVD for weeks. Should I avoid cops? will I get pulled over? Arrested? Never being in any trouble before I was scared. Finally, I went to MVD expecting to be there for hours. Nope. I walked in, waited 10 mins and i was next. i got to the window handed him my licence. he looked in the computer, charged me my 20.00, I took a new photo and I was done. I have my new temp licence and my permanent one will be mailed in the next 10 days. I learned my lesson. Only the real MVD me from now on. read more
