Thai noodle soup - extra onions, beef and meatball on the side.
Evelyn C.

Sooo good!! Wanted to find a new soup place so I tried the Thai noodle soup. Spice level 2 was just enough, it was even a little bit sweet towards the end when it was cooling down.

Wonderful food and kind staff. We especially loved the khao soi. Yum!!! Highly recommend trying it if you're in town.

Delicious! We were a little concerned because this restaurant is in a small strip mall, but were we ever pleasantly surprised! it was lunch time and pretty full, but we were seated within moments after being treated to a plethora of delicious smells upon entering. My partner started with shrimp rolls and dumplings that each came with what tasted like Hoisin mixed with soy and then another type of sweet/sour sauce; both were delicious on either item. Very tasty! For our entrees, my partner had Drunken Noodles with Pork which was full of a medley of flavors accented by the perfect amount of ginger. I enjoyed the Tom Yum Soup at spice level 3 - at the first spoonful, every tastebud in my mouth said, "well, heellloooooooo!", and "Hot, Hot, Hot" by Buster Poindexter started playing in my hea! My lips were instantly tingling as I enjoyed each consecutive flavor of this soup; I would suggest a lighter spice level if you do not want your sinuses to be cleared for the next month or so, but it is GOOD, The owner was so nice also! After we had eaten, she brought out a condiment caddy with three levels of spice they use and explained the spices could be put on the side ranging from "mild" to "you're kidding, right?" Try them all if you are feeling adventurous! With the fast service, gracious hospitality, and AMAZING food, we are definitely going to come back for more! 19 JUNE 2024 We were back in Shawnee when our plans unavoidably changed so we decided to treat ourselves and try Saya Thai for dinner...delicious yet again! This time we tried Fried Calamari and Chicken Satay with the accompanying sauces and I would recommend both; this was the first time I have ever liked a peanut sauce! For our dinner dishes, we had Pad Thai and Soy Sauce Noodles with shrimp and chicken....our food seemed better than our first visit! The owner even remembered us and brought out three different types of hot sauces/ spices for us to try on the side. For an extra treat, I had a Butterfly Pea Lemonade which was wonderful after an hot day. This place is fantastic!

Crab fried rice, medium spicy

Good food! It is called "1 Thai restaurant "now. Good size restaurant and clean. We order 3 things and we love them all. I specially like my noodle. It brought me back to Thailand. The potsticker is amazingly crunchy, and it is homemade, not frozen! Service is friendly. Ask the server for recommendations.

Beef and broccoli

I was a little apprehensive when I walked into this place today because they were out of chicken and they are closed on Mondays. However, I absolutely love Thai food and we decided to go ahead and have lunch. I'm absolutely thrilled that we did. I had Penang curry and my husband had beef and broccoli. The kids had crab wontons with a side of fried rice minus the vegetables. The waitress was delightful, attentive but not crowding. The atmosphere was similar to a fast food restaurant but relaxed and the area was clean. The reason we came was for the curry and it was beyond delicious. I will absolutely be returning. Our total was around $40 with our tip and I was 100% satisfied. Definitely suggest if you like curry or Thai food.

New To Go menu.

Best Thai food around, looks like they are under new management. It's still hard to get them on the phone.

The location was a little warm and had several large fans blowing inside the restaurant (I was here early Aug) but my order was a to-go order so I only had a short time inside the warm dining area. To compare it to other Thai places, I ordered the fried tofu, gyoza and chicken satay apps. Their chicken was tender and well marinated and their peanut sauce had just a hint of spice but was so creamy. Their tofu was ok, but not very flavorful and slightly soggy so probably order this if you're going to eat at the restaurant. Gyoza was slightly crispy at the bottom and tender at top and filled with a generous amount of pork and veggie filling. I ended up ordering the Pad Thai over the Kao Soi (really wanted both) and was happy with my choice. I love Pad Thai and asked for extra peanuts since I like a little extra crunch to offset the soft noodles. I chose tofu as they prepare it in small, pan-fried cubes and the insides were a little creamy with the firm exterior.

WHAT IN THE WORLD!!!!…read more Why am I just now eating here?! The restaurant is sooooo clean and well kept. The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting. The service was kind and quick! But the food.....the food is incredible. The Massaman curry was my favorite dish. When I tell you that I felt that curry in my soul, I do not kid. The Thai iced tea was perfect! It comes in a chilled bronze bowl that stay very cold the entire meal. We will be back again and again to try more meals on this incredible menu. Top spot for dinner now.

Many Thai restaurants just offer regular Thai tea, so I love to order it when they do. The drink was so good with the perfect amount of sweetness, and it was served in a cute, decorated bowl. We decided to eat family-style and ordered the Beef Panang (which is what my friend recommended), the Khao Soi, and the Pad See Ew with tofu. We opted for level 1 spice for all of our dishes, and it was perfect for me-- not too spicy. The Beef Panang was one of the best bites of the night. It was so creamy, savory, and did not feel overly heavy. It was delicious with rice, and the beef was incredibly tender. The Khao Soi was also so good! Another dish that I don't see often in Thai restaurants around here, but I also love to order it when I do see it. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the curry soup also had an amazing rich and creamy flavor. The Pad See Ew tasted great, but the noodles were a bit under for me. Overall, the food was tasty, the service was great, and I can't wait to come back!

He told me it would be 45 minutes initially, but after I told him my order he said it might be ready sooner and that he'd text me once it was ready. It was definitely ready in about 25-30. Picked it up and once I got home ate through it. Honestly, I was expecting a much better tasting meal considering all of the high reviews. I'm not sure if I got the right thing or what, but it was very mid. The beef was very dry and the noodles were just ok. Also, based off of the reviews, apparently they don't play around with their spice here however mine wasn't really spicy at all lol. I had high expectations, but was disappointed. Wouldn't go out of my way to try the Pad See Ew here. They might have other items that are worthy though.
