Anyone who says they won't go to 10Barrel for selling to A.B. is ignorant and needs to find real things to complain about. The brewers are the same and the ingredients are the same. The food pairs better than well with the beer. The Boise and Portland pubs have their own brewing systems as well as their own brewers, making each establishment unique. The brewers are amazing; Benny, Jimmy, Tonya, Shawn Kelso to mention a few. Don't be an idiot...Go to 10 Barrel. read more

These pizzas are to DIE FOR! Everything I have gotten here always seems to become a favorite of mine. The servers are awesome. always refilling and always smiling. Their steak Gorgonzola fries are amazingggg. The environment is perfect, we ate outside and it was peaceful and warm by the fire. We will be coming back. read more

Ok so 10 Barrel is great, its just up against an abundance of beer pub competition. The outdoor atmosphere is great, but if you have to eat inside its too loud. The beer is good, but I just love a few other IPA's around town a little more. A place worth frequenting for great pub food with good beer though. I was going to ban this place when we came back to Bend after their sell out to Anheuser Busch but I failed. Had to come back and have their nachos. I love the atmosphere here and my server was great. We also tried pizza and ooh laa laa delish! And can I just say the Sinister Black Ale is superb. We arrived here and were told the wait would be 30 minutes. It ended up being an hour and 20 minutes. We waited patiently as the trashy pink-haired girl sat people who had arrived long after us, checking in only to be told that we were "next on the list," and then watching them seat someone else. We also asked if we could order a drink while waiting, and she said no. Was absolutely rude, short and abrasive for no reason, from the get-go. Anyway, we were also told that they couldn't seat our party of 5 because they could only seat us at certain sized tables by law. Near the end of our wait, they changed their tune and a much nicer, dark haired gal came out and told us that we could absolutely order drinks and stand at one of the lean-to tables. She also suddenly seated us at one of the tables they said they couldn't by law..... Still, we didn't complain and thanked her, because we know how hectic service can get, and we did appreciate a friendly face. The last straw: Our server, Jamie, made sure to interact with us as little as possible. To the point that she was literally walking away while we were ordering and we had to call her back multiple times. We tried to buy a few items of merchandise as well, and she goes "only if it's just a hat." She was huffing and puffing when we asked for anything, asked questions, etc. Quite the experience to bring our out of state guests here after ranting and raving about it, only to be greeted with AWFUL service. As 5 people who have/currently work in the service industry, we were dumbfounded by the treatment and absolute lack of care, not even trying to fake it and put on a nice face. Just honestly a bizarre experience. None of us have ever been treated so badly at a restaurant/bar etc. Will 100% not be recommending, nor bringing out of town guests here. Bummer! read more

I love this place, well not the place so much as the beer itself. The only issues I have are with the parking and the welding on the outdoor fire pit - the weld along the seams is uneven and obviously reflects the lack of detail taken into account by the welder. I would really like to see some copper flashing on each side of the stack for more character and life when the sun shines. This place is now an institution in Bend. The space(indoor/outdoor) is great. The food is very good. The beer is epic, of course! Our only complaint is the wait for small parties. They don't have enough 2-tops, so unless you want to sit at the community table, there will usually be quite a wait. You can wait/drink or eat at the bar instead, which works fine if you are in a party mood & don't mind the noise. If you're not in a party mood, drink more and adjust attitude. You might even make enough friends to qualify for the big-boy tables! Try anything with the S1NISTOR black ale bbq sauce on it and you won't be disappointed. read more

This was our first stop after an 8.5 hour drive to Bend. As we drove up, we could smell the wood burning stoves going outside, and saw lots of people gathered to listen to live music. Many people were still in their ski clothes, and a ski bus was parked outside. The crowd was happy and healthy , and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. We waited about 30 mins for a table, and were seated by a bubbly waitress. We ordered a beer tasting flight, which has 10 x 3 oz pours, a salad, and a pizza. It was enough food to share between 3 of us, and everything was very good and full of flavor. We would happily come here again. read more

10 Barrel is a sweet place to be, and the word is out. Expect it to be crowded so go during off times or expect a wait. The service is good and the menu has some really tasty stuff. Beers are good getting better. Lot's of hoppy stuff and a few Belgians. 10 Barrel has a sweet fire pit and outdoor access to the bar (weather permitting). Not a good place to watch a game, unless you are lucky enough to be in the bar. Imperial pints! read more

Really fun place. Great beer selection. 10 Barrel can get packed on the weekends though which can make it had to get a table or even a beer. Awesome patio area though. I'm sure this place is great most days but they are a bit too popular on a sunny day. Came in yesterday with a group of friends.. Ordered the Veggie burger, few of my friends had the normal cheeseburger.. The bread ruined the entire thing for sure! Bread had no flavor, was dry, tasted like cardboard.. Honestly ate like 3 bites, even took the bread off, helped and was manageable but still didn't finish even a half of my plate.. Asked the waitress if they ever had bad reviews about it.. She of course said no.. The manager came over but by that time, we just wanted to leave and get to our hike for the day... We came to 10 Barrel on a sunny warm day with our small well-behaved dog and ask for a seat outside on the patio. They told us it would be about a half hour so we waited a half hour. A couple came into the restaurant 10 minutes after we did and took over the one available shaded table outside. We are frustrated because they wouldn't respect the order of arrival. We had high hopes for this place as a dog friendly place in Bend but they just chose not to seat us when there was a perfectly good table available. read more

I'm a total local and have lived here for 22 out of 23. Super upset with the bartenders. No names to give because I usually have nothing but good things to say about places even if the food quality wasn't good, but the customer service behind the bar was garbage. Felt like I was a problem being at the bar and didn't feel welcomed. Bartenders where nice at first but then just became rude and unwelcoming. Never have been to the east side 10 barrel but with my west side experience, I don't think I will make it across town. Please hire people that treat your customers, regardless of age or ethnicity, with great customer service.. For the bartenders, If you don't like your job and are not personable, find another job. Otherwise you're wasting the business owners time and customers experience. There where an exceptional few working here though. The cooks do a great job and same with the hostess and food runners. I live in Seattle but visit Bend as often as I can. This last weekend we visited Worthy Brewing (chef died recently, menu and food are totally meh....) and hit up 10 Barrels. The pastrami sandwich is the best I have had in ages! And the beer and cider isn't bad either! Go there. Now. Greatly disappointed by the sale to Inbev. While I can understand the motivation, it was definitely not a customer centric move. Stone and Firestone Walker have done it on their own and earned every dollar. You will be a once great Oregon brewery, and now merely a tool for AB to look crafty. read more

Been here twice now, found it off of yelp the first time, which was nice since I am not from Bend. It is hands down my favorite brewpub ever, and I wish I lived closer to it. The beer is delicious and the food is great. I love the Swill, I buy it whenever I see it at the local store as well. I have seen that hardcore beer snobs are not into, maybe I am just partial because I love grapefruit in the first place and eat it almost everyday. On my first visit I ate the lamb burger and that was very tasty. The second trip I had a pizza and we tried the bbq chip nacho, which was awesome, I had to stop eating half way into it so I would have room for the pizza that was very good as well. The staff has always been nice and everyone has been knowledgeable of the menu items and beers. The setup is really cool, with a lot of outdoor seating and you can even shuffle up to the bar outside. Really the only negative is that it has always been busy, a good problem to have for the owners, and a sign that they are doing what they do very well. read more

Saved from disaster. I am a beer pub fan, ever since I could drink. My goal is to drink at every beer pub in the Northwest. I took the girlfriend on a trip to Bend with plans of going to many beer pubs. alas and alack she pointed out that the last five trips were to brewpubs and she was not interested in more for her birthday. she does not drink and was recovering from surgery so we were tired from a full day of exploring the Bend area. I was told by my cousin to check out 10 barrels and I insisted we go (insensitive jerk) We got there and the place was packed. A 45 minute wait and a hostel girlfriend crammed onto the waiting bench, watching people file in and out with beer in their hands. As the tears started to flow down my girlfriends face, I started to think maybe this was a bad idea and maybe I really am a jerk... luckily at about a minute from me saying "lets go" we were rescued. A server stopped and asked if they could get us anything while we waited. A napkin for my girlfriend and a diet pepsi, a beer sampler for me. We were then seated and the server clapped me on the back and thanked us for coming in. We were seated and our waitress was super friendly and made sure we got everything we needed. The beer is some of the best and I got a t-shirt for my girlfriend and the waitress half hugged her and we left 10 barrels happy. This is a hip busy place but the people who work there made it special. read more

Horrible establishment. As a minority, there was a clear 'whites' preferred air to the service. One bartender completely ignored me and helped the white woman behind me in line. The server's name was Clinton. I haven't felt this blatant racism since I grew up in Tucson AZ. That's saying something. read more

Came here on a Thursday night with my husband. Immediately I knew we should have left when they sat us directly in between two couples who already had their bags on the chairs next to them. Had absolutely no arm room let alone have a conversation with eachother. The couples on both sides of us were older yuppies who didn't seem to be very happy having us sitting so close to them. The waitress came by and literally had to ask us if we were with them (the couple who got seated next to us) my husband ordered a beer and it took forever. I decided that we should leave but I wanted to try to lemongrass oyster shooter so I ordered that and that took forever to arrive too.. I tried it and it was honestly disgusting. At that point I called Sunriver brewing next door to see how long the wait would be for two and they said "we can get you in right now!" Lovely. So we paid and left. So now we're over at Sunriver brewery and its much better. Our food came in less than 15 minutes. read more

Truly the rudest server I've experienced in a long long time. The food was fine, but the overall experience was one of us being a burden to the server. We got our own drinks, silverware and to go boxes after being ignored numerous times. She was so baldly rude that she purposely didn't give us review slips with our checks.
