we came to cambridge square on a sunday and attempted to eat at wine down bistro but they were so busy, we waited over an hour and still never got sat, so we came over to 100 hibachi & sushi and were greeted and seated immediately. i've been here once before and it was phenomenal. this time was even better since i ordered ramen AND sashimi. the ramen was delicious, egg perfectly soft boiled and noodles were the best texture, not overly cooked. i loved the broth and the pork was really tasty too. eel is my fave to order at sushi restaurants and this was absolutely amazing as well. it wasn't crowded at all, which was both surprising and a relief since wine down bistro had been so loud and filled to the brim with folks. our food arrived fast and hot (we all got ramen), and drink refills were prompt without us even having to ask. i am so glad we came here instead. read more

My little one had an eel roll and I had the black maba roll. The the fish was fresh, and our rolls were beautifully presented. Small inside sushi feel restaurant, welcoming and also open outside seating with a calm exterior. Service was swift and informative. The food presentation was absolutely beautiful. From the calamari( crispy squid legs), to the black tonkotsu ramen which has garlic with tender meat and fresh ingredients ! Yum and to their sushi rolls. Each item felt like a steal for the price point. Highly recommend! We've been ordering from this place since they opened and it's been great until recently. We ordered filet hibachi with extra meat and veg. The filet was cooked poorly, it didn't even seem like a cut of filet, they gave us much less meat than they used to, and they gave us almost zero veg. Big disappointment. read more

This place had great sushi and amazing service as well. We came on July 4th and were pleasantly surprised that they were open on that day. First we both got Thai Tea with boba. I was surprised at how large the drink cups were. They were bigger than I expected and had a decent amount of drink + boba pearls inside. It tasted really good. I wasn't sure if I could customize sweetness level and ice like I normally would at a boba shop, but sweetness level was not too sweet yet sweet enough. The boba had a nice chewy consistency. For entrees, I ordered the Alaska Roll and asked for a California Roll with a lightly fried exterior. Everything was delicious. It all tasted so fresh, from the fish to the veggies. I have no complaints, our service was amazing. We always got checked on, our server was quick to get us what we needed, and was very friendly. Even though what I ate looked pretty small from pictures, the boba definitely filled me up. I felt like the portion size for what I ordered was perfect for me. Wow! We loved our experience at 100 Hibachi and Sushi. Tucked in a nice plaza square we were greeted at the door and had no wait. Harley was our server and constantly checked in on us. The price and value of our meal exceeded expectations. The salad and soup were huge and well priced. We ordered 5 rolls and the wait was not long. Philadelphia Roll, Simpson, Shrimp Tempura, Joker and Spicy salmon were spot on and yummy. We are from out of town, but will revisit when we come back. Not far from the highway or some hotels. I wanted to like this place and gave it a few tries with different items but haven't been impressed. The sushi is just the most meh sushi I've ever had and isn't really worth the price. Some of the boba is sweet but not really great. Tofu is somewhat crisp, but fairly bland as served. I don't think it's terrible, but it doesn't have the spirit of a great Asian restaurant and feels like pretend if that makes any sense. read more

Been to this incredible little place now twice - first at dinner time on a Friday, then later mid-week lunch. I've only been here once, but here it is... This review would be 5 stars, but the service was horrible -- slow, rude (bad attitude and inconsiderate to our needs as guests), and very off-putting. The restaurant only had a couple of other tables when we were there and had NO reason to wait so long for our server to return. I needed napkins and a drink refill. Eventually, I got up/gave up on waiting, to find an employee to ask for assistance. I found our server standing at the counter, out of our table's view, talking and laughing with another server. Not acceptable. If it weren't for the food, I would never return. However, the Takoyaki and Black Mamba sushi roll were both great. Seriously. I'll return for these dishes. read more

I love the food at this restaurant. It is healthy and fresh. Since I mostly eat vegan I love the tofu and vegetable with noodles. I have ordered food to go at least three times. One time they forgot to put the salad in the bag. When I called to tell the manager, he was very nice and told me he would credit the meal back on my credit card. The staff is also friendly. I also referred one of my clients and they were very pleased with the food they ordered. I will continue to recommend this restaurant. read more

Food is pretty good, only reason why I continue to go, but the service needs lots of work. Every time you get there you have to look around to make sure you do not take a table from someone who might have gotten there earlier (chaos). I would not recommend sitting outside - unless you are wanting to continue fasting. If you do decide to show up for their lunch (great prices) - just make sure you let them know you want the lunch special - if not they might charge you for the dinner price but portion stays the same (not sure why).
