This is place saved me!!! I had a huge hole in my back quarter panel and bumper due to a fire hydrant accident. Insurance wouldn't help me and I was in a bad spot. I took my 2016 Range Rover Evoque here after scratching the back on a cement pole while parking. The scratch made a small dent and went 100% through the paint. Upon visiting, I received an on-the-spot estimate which was extremely reasonable and made an appointment ASAP. Within three days upon delivering my vehicle the scratch / dent were 100% repaired - LIKE IT NEVER HAPPENED :) Plus the final amount matched the estimate to the penny. Someone recommended this place on NextDoor and SO GLAD that I gave it a try. I needed to replace a door shell and a side mirror of my Lexus NX. 1. Their fee estimate is the lowest and they stick to their estimate (vs other shops told me the final price usually comes up to around 10% more). 2. Their turnover time is the same as other shops. 3. They did some minor work for free - pushed back a loose panel, some paint touch ups (other shops will charge me separately). 4. They tried to find me an after-market mirror to save money, and when that mirror didn't work out, they took care of it, no hassle for me. Friendly and easy to work with. Brought my GTI here to get the driver side fender and headlight assembly replaced after a small accident. The shop was quick with the estimate (no appointment required) and the lowest quoted price of the four shops I went to (one guy quoted me 3x the amount that 101 Auto Body did! CRAZY!). I asked them to order parts on Monday, dropped off the car Tuesday around 1pm and had my car back by 1pm that same Friday. Work was terrific, the paint was flawless and the cost was just as they had quoted me. Fantastic work + quick turn around + lowest cost = best body shop! I noticed a couple days later that the light in the head lamp was shaking a little, so I called them to inquire. They told me they would order new parts, not to worry about cost since it was covered under their warranty, and to bring it in when it was best for me. I told them I'd bring it by the next day. They fixed it within a half hour while I waited. Good as new! Great service, awesome work, and very good prices! Thank you! The location is also very convenient, right off Aurora and 100th. There is a Hertz on 145th that I took used, and took the bus to pick up and drop off the rental. Awesome! I had scraped the side of my rear bumper on a concrete beam due to the tiny spaces in my parking garage. I was told by other body shops that I needed to replace the entire bumper. I was just going to give up and just leave the damage, as it just wasn't worth it to me to pay to have the entire bumper replaced for one scrape. I decided to give it one more try, and took my car to 101 Auto Body, and was told the scrape could easily be repaired within a couple of days. I dropped my car off at 8:00 am on Monday (12/28) and got a call at 10:30 this morning (Wed. 12/30) saying it was all ready. They did an AMAZING job! It looks as good as new, and I definitely saved a significant amount of money by not having to replace the entire bumper. They also gave my car a much needed washing to boot! I needed to find a place that was affordable, as well as fast. I was pleasantly surprised. It was very apparent that this father and son company was not worried about running an upscale business; they just wanted to provide excellent service at a fair cost. I went to 3 total places for estimates, and if was quoted $2011 at one place, $1800 at another, and I was only charged $1173 at 101 Autobody! They also only worked in my car for one full day, and it was available for pick up the next. I've been telling my friends that I'll definitely go back...of course, they advised me to try and avoid having to visit an autobody shop ever again; however, I am glad to know I found a place I can depend on for a good job, at a good cost. read more

It is very hard to find a great Auto Shop, and I thought I was going to have the same problem when I damaged my Highlander on a trip across the states. While I was entering the Cleveland, Ohio Turnpike, someone had decided NOT to report they had Hit a Deer. So, just so happens I hit it again, and took out the front lower side paneling of my tire well and some damage to the front molding. 101 Auto Body, was the first place and the last place I will ever go for my Auto Body needs. They charged me a reasonable price and did amazing work! If you want an honest and affordable Body Shop, don't go anywhere else!! What are you waiting for? This is a terrific business. The owner Nam and his son are the primary techs that work here, and they do great work. I was in the process of selling my 2001 Volvo S60, which had a significant dent on the rear driver-side door. I was quoted at about $2000 from the other body shop a few blocks south of 101, but Nam quoted me at just under $1200. Not only that, but they offered a faster turn around. Additionally, they've done work on my '89 240 DL, and due to the age of the car, did not have the right paint to put on the car. Not a problem, Nam mixed a custom batch that matched my original color perfectly right there in the shop! These guys are great at what they do and are more than competent at providing a quality, fast and professional repair on any of your vehicle's dents and scuffs. I would recommend these guys to just about anybody in need of great bodywork at affordable prices. read more

I took my Malibu to them and since then have had issues with it ever since. Since the son has gotten involved with the company it has gone downhill. I had my front passenger side door backed into one 4th of July and they botched that job up too. The son was supposed to come to the shop on a Saturday and was a no call no show! I got into a fender bender (my fault) and had the front bumper of my 2001 Ford Ranger looking pretty banged up, practically falling off the fender. I also had my left blinker light broken from a past scraping (not my fault), I had just been too reluctant to spend the money to fix it. It's my beater truck, but I love it so. I came to 101 Auto Body on a recommendation from a friend and from the 6 five-start reviews I saw on Yelp. I am here to enthusiastically deliver the 7th five-star review. The owner's name is Nam and he is a soft-spoken, professional man who will explain all the pertinent points of the repair to you with a heavy South Korean accent, but all the politeness and charm that comes with it. He gave me two quotes: one to fix just my bumper, and one to fix my bumper, the blinker light and a cracked grill. I opted for the quote just to fix the bumper (Less expensive and, again, it's a beater truck). After 4 days, I received a call that it was ready to pick up. It was a Thursday and I was unable to get a ride there until Monday, so I picked it up on Monday. I arrived to see my bumper looking as solid and sturdy as it had been before my incident and, much to my surprise, the blinker light being replaced. I was a bit put-off because I know I hadn't ordered the blinker light to be repaired and wasn't looking forward to the extra charge. Upon entering the office, I asked Nam how it went. He proceeded to tell me that there were 4 attachments that secured my bumper to my truck. He only needed to repair 2 of them and did so, saving me $20. He could have told me he had to repair all 4 and I would have believed him without a second thought, but he didn't, he was honest about the work that was done. He continued on to say that he included the blinker light free of charge. I didn't expect that at all and offered to pay. He courteously refused the offer and continued on running through my paperwork and I left in an upbeat mood, feeling that a very even exchange just took place. Perhaps I even came out on the better end of the deal, due to Nam's generosity. I highly recommend this establishment. You'll get a fair quote, attentive service and honest follow-through. My previous review was 5 stars. There's no provision for 6 but I think they deserve at least another one. The reason for granting 6 stars is: I requested all the scratches etc. be removed in preparation for selling my beloved, high end car. (I use it too little to justify insurance and license cost.) After the repair I found tiny pin prick spots that remained from a deep scratch. It was undoubtedly nit picky to ask them to fix it but they did not object. I was amazed. No fuss. They were nice about it--- very willing to make it right. And when I picked the car up it was perfect. The only place better than 101 would be one that paid me for the privilege of doing the repair job. read more

My wife scraped up her old 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. She needed a new fender, bumper, and passenger headlight assembly. Given the age of the car, we did not carry collision insurance, and were not looking to pour a lot of money into the car for repairs. After getting a $3,300+ estimate from a body shop on the Eastside, we began thinking about buying a new car. We found 101 on Yelp and based on the reviews, we figured we should get a quote from them before giving up on the Jeep. I brought it over on a Tuesday morning, they immediately offered an estimate, and their total was almost exactly $1,000 less than the other shop's for similar aftermarket parts. In comparing the estimates, the other place was gouging us on parts (300% markup in some cases) while 101 was basically quoting list prices that I found on the internet. Needless to say, we came here. We dropped the car off on a Monday, and picked it up on a Friday - a day later than their original quote but I was fine with that since they let us know. As far as I can tell, the quality of the work is very good. The paint job is very close, but not an exact match to the adjacent panels (he mentioned his son forgot to fully blend the new paint into the existing hood). This was fine with us since we'd rather save the money than pay to fix a cosmetic issue on a 14 year old car... so that saved about $100 off the original estimate. Overall, 101 Auto Body was exactly what we were looking for. The work was very good, done inexpensively, and turned around quickly. If the insurance company was paying, I'd probably take it somewhere closer to where I live, but this is a great place if you're looking to fix your car out of pocket. read more

These guys were great. I had body damage on both rear fenders scraping onto the doors as well . . . my office building has a tight entry ramp, and I learned it's boundaries the hard way. The price they quoted was less than half the price I was quoted at another shop, literally (101 Auto Body's price was what I thought it should cost, whereas the other shop was trying to rip me off). These guys have had a good word-of-mouth reputation in the area for many years. It is well-deserved. This is an excelent shop to work with. I have 2 older vehicles that I like to keep nice, and they fix just what is needed, replacing a minimum of parts. The areas they worked on look like new- a great paint match! They are very honest, and won't sell you more than you need. I wanted the car clear-coated to bring back the shine, and they said I was better off going to a local detail shop for a good wax. If they spend less than the estimate, they charge you less. If you are paying out of your own pocket, this is the best place! Not open weekends, but open by 8AM. read more

I went here as it was preferred by my insurance. I got my front passenger window replaced after it had been smashed. Monday I arrived and they ordered my window. Tuesday I called and they told me they forgot to ship my window. Wednesday, the son (or nephew) was only at the shop and could tell by his attitude he was having a bad day. He was very rude on the phone calling me to say hes finished replacing the window after I asked if he was able to remove / clean the glass shards. I asked him he could clear the glass inside the door and he said he was not able to with a "vacuum and screw driver" and that he can guarantee there is no way to get it out if I tried another shop. On top of that he did a bad job cleaning the shards of glass on the interior after I had cleaned most of it that I could. There were still many bits and shards left by my seats, you could tell he put minimal effort into the job. The owner seemed nice and the type of person that works hard and I would trust that he would have done a better job, however his son or nephew will be ruining his business. I know it would be difficult to clean the glass inside the door and the son did not seem interested at all in helping a paying customer out. read more
