I always like to send positive vibes, especially when I get the same from a local restaurant. I have to give it to these guys for friendliness and service. Service, food, staff. Terrible! After 1 hour of ordering, a person, not our waiter, stopped by to say they had a party of 18 in front of us, so it was going to be a bit longer. I could quickly count 26 open seats. That's a terrible excuse. I ordered the Turkey Panini which was cold and awful. Hardly the "made from scratch" they promoted when we were seated. Our food and a drink were comped but that didn't make it right or better because nobody there could care less how we were treated and served. After a number of months being open they don't have the restaurant business or customer service figured out. Spend your money somewhere else. read more

With all the new bars and restaurants opening, this one made an impression. What makes 101 Craft Kitchen different immediately is the friendliness of every single person working there. From the person that seated us to the GM that came around to every table at least once, it made you happy to spend your money there. Speaking of which, we were pleasantly surprised by the prices. A long-standing local establishment here is pricing themselves out of the ballpark and this chicken tasted way better. For starters, we tried the chicken wings and the crab/artichoke toast. The wings were HUGE, not breaded or fried, and tasted like meat. Not sure that is a negative, but understand I do not eat a lot of meat and the smoked accentuates the "meat" flavor. Men will eat them up, which my husband did. My favorite was the toast that I will probably order every single time. Also, my favorite drink was the champagne margarita. For entrées, my husband got the pork chop, which he loved. I zeroed in on the Casado Bowl and was going to do tuna. Our waitress, Hannah S., steered me to the shrimp instead due to the Asian flavor of the tuna. It was simply perfection and I could eat it every single day! May never order anything else! She was a fantastic server! For dessert, we shared the chocolate pudding cake that brought back food memories of my mother's. Enough said! read more

Phenomenal!!! I come to Cinci about once a month and without a doubt this is my new go to. When I arrived i sat at the bar and was greeted by Stanley and Jessica. They provided top notch service. Cool vibe the bar has garage style doors open to the outside. They have a nice indoor and outdoor bar and patio. The out door patio and dining area are heated, dining area in the bar and separate dining area away from the bar. I started with the 1911 Cider Donut (cider), it was very good. On the sweeter side, then I moved on to the Old Fashioned it was very good. For dinner I ordered the Creole Pork Chop it came with maque choux, fried green tomatoes and a pickled vegetable salad. It was topped with a slightly spicy remoulade. I ordered it cooked medium and it actually came out medium. So many restaurants overcook pork. Up until today I could say that the Mongolian Pork Chop from Mustards Grill in Napa was my favorite. This may have beat that. Looking forward to coming back and trying more items from their menu. Here's the frustrating thing about this restaurant. The staff was super friendly, the menu was excellent, the food was tasty, but the noise level was insane. Why do restaurants do this? My husband and I enjoyed lunch at the 101 Craft Kitchen yesterday. We both enjoyed our meals, he ordered the fish and chips special and I had the salmon. The salmon, cooked in a packet, was prepared perfectly: flavorful and tender. Our server, Daniel, was upbeat and helpful as we asked questions. The general manager, Matthew, stopped by the table to check on us. The restaurant is pretty, filled with a variety of sitting areas, and spotless. read more

What a fabulous restaurant! The food is outstanding and very delicious. Soups, salad dressings, and dipping sauces are all made in house. I had butternut squash soup with Brie & apple grilled cheese. Outstanding! Josh served our group of 11 women with efficiency, courtesy, and good humor...even provided suggestions for our food choices. Went with 11 others, and everyone loved it. The menu offers a different variety than usual with all fresh ingredients and very tasty dishes. They're happy to put sauces on the side and offer alternatives. Interesting menu. Nice vibes so ate there 2 nights in a row. However on the 2nd night, ordered carpaccio and it was a bit unedible. It did not melt in my mouth even after considerable chewing. I gathered some paper towels from bathroom so I could spit out the gristle. Food was really subpar. Sent back my salmon Casado bowl black beans were actually not black beans but lentils and maybe canned because the salt was unbearable. First time here. VERY impressed. Our waiter, Chris, greeted our party of 8 immediately. He was very attentive, always there when we needed him, and had great suggestions. Super nice guy. The food was delicious. The fried green tomato stack and ricotta dip were very good. The bacon on the fried green tomatoes could be a stand alone appetizer-amazing. I had the salmon. Literally one of the best salmon dishes I have ever had. Snapped a pic and sent to my son who also likes salmon and told him he has to try it. Several people had the NY strip and said it was delicious. The peach cake is a dessert that I would make a trip there for by itself. All in all this place has a great future. Went here for dinner last night. Amazing food which is made from scratch everyday. The restaurant is modern & welcoming. We had fancy tater tots, gourmet tasting mac n cheese, tomato & ricotta cheese spread with delicious bread and the chocolate cake for dessert. (Yes, lots of comfort food). We split everything and were very full at the end of our meal. This is their 6th location, so it's not a huge chain which makes us happy. We like supporting local as much as possible. They change up their menus periodically. The next change is due mid-November. Definitely check out their menu on their website. The great thing about this location in Mason is that it's in walking distance from Pins, a video arcade with lots of old school arcade games, pinball machines & bowling lanes (mini). Wish I had pics of our food. It was beautiful & awesome. Oh, and it's not too pricey. Treat yourself and go soon:) read more
