Toast & Berry needs to get a grip. Yes, the amount of GF options are great. But, maybe people are not OK with overpaying for mediocrity? The general vibe is everyone is tired and going through the motions of making an effort. If you are looking for cheerful service, go elsewhere. Though I left full, and it sustained me, $37 before tip is ludicrous for 1 person! Yes, eggs are expensive right now, but charging $2.75 for 1 EGG is outrageous. Also that price for adding smoked salmon? You can purchase a package of smoked salmon for that amount! Add to that, a side salad and regular salad are the same price?! C'mon. Food: quality on par, veggies on toast seemed almost all fresh. But the flavor? About on par with what I can make myself at home, save the delicious picked onions. I was traveling in the area and found toast and berry and boy was I pleasantly surprised. It had good reviews on yelp, but when I walked in when they opened at 7 AM, I was super impressed. Many items on their menu they make from scratch from their French toast and pancakes, and even their omelettes. I chose the three little pig omelette, which was absolutely fantastic. I'm a big omelette person and I would say this is one of the best I've had in quite some time. I also had a side of cinnamon strudel pancake, which was equally fantastic. Great coffee extremely nice venue. I have already told two other colleagues that traveled this area about it that they need to stop in and check it out. I went to the Toast & Berry location in liberty and it was delicious. The peach lemonade was so refreshing and the southwest bowl had big portions and great flavor. It's a great switch up for brunch out in liberty. The server I had was great and very accommodating. I have a nut allergy so I'm happy he was knowledgeable on the menu. Had an absolutely wonderful experience here. Came around lunch time with a bigger group of co workers. Our waitress was so kind and helpful. Ordered the Hemingway Benedict. The eggs were closer to hard-boiled than poached. There was maybe a teaspoon of hollandaise. There was a bunch of smoked salmon, but it was meh--one of the driest benedicts I've ever had. Coffee was good. Twice I tried to get a waitress's attention (once she looked directly at me and walked away). There was no spoon to stir my coffee at the table or in the rolled-up napkin. So I got up to grab one myself. When I grabbed a spoon from the empty server station, I got a dirty look from the waitress as she started approaching me. I told her I needed a spoon, but she ignored me. She then asked me to check the silverware roll. I told you. And she walked away. The orange juice was okay. Did not taste fresh-squeezed; maybe the oranges aren't good. I guess I'll keep going to greasy spoons: better service, better food, better price. read more

The menu has the usual brunch items and the service is good. The dining room has plenty of space between tables and our fellow diners were not an issue. We had omletes, one mushroom and one three little pigs. The omletes were wonderful. They came with hash browns and toast, with what appeared to be homemade jam/jelly. There was also a very small serving of fresh fruit. The fruit was fine, cut into fine pieces, I couldn't really taste it. A personal issue I suppose. The real issue is the hash browns. Giant slabs, okay maybe 2 X 2 slabs of extra dry, unflavored paste, I mean potatoes. If we go again, which may happen, we'll skip the hash browns for something else. read more

My Husband and I visited this place yesterday for breakfast. We had to fast before some blood work so when we were done with that we were very hungry. Here's what I love MOST about this place. I didn't have to have a typical breakfast even at 9 in the morning!!! I got the crispy chicken sandwich and their crinkle fries. The fries were absolutely perfect!! My sandwich was hot and had just the right amount of pickles on it. My husband had the mushroom and Swiss omelet with toast and hash brown squares. He said his food was great as well! Make sure to reserve a seat online prior to coming to reduce wait times since you don't to physically be there when you sign up for the wait list. The restaurant had a clean modern aesthetic very inviting for those looking to catch up with old friends. Once we were seated the server quickly came by and took our order. I ordered a spinach, Gouda, bacon omelet which came with hash squares and toasts. I thought the omelet was very filing, it wasn't too salty and the Gouda was nicely melted and gooey. The hash squares were crispy and there was a cute small portion of fruit in a small cup. It was delicious. However, my favorites are the blueberry toast, eggs Benedict and hash squares. The wait time system could use some improvement as the texts don't seem to align with when seating time and rush you back to the restaurant early. My wife had the day off so we had brunch at Toast & Berry. Located in Liberty Town Centre just off of Hamilton Mason Rd/129/75, this place is easy to find and has plenty of parking. We went at a noon and expected to wait but the line wasn't bad - super quick when we opted for bar counter seating which was great. The menus for breakfast/lunch both looked appetizing but we settled on breakfast. The chicken hash was delicious, a little heavy on the sauce for me but really good. The French toast was amazing and rich. My wife had a mushroom omelette and side of pancakes which she gave a to. There was a lot of food to bring home but we wanted to sample a lot. T&B reminds me of First Watch with a smaller menu and more expensive items. Same clientele as well. I had: Smoked Salmon Toast. Pretty good. These tend to be salty, no matter where you order it. Had a side of 3 eggs with white cheddar and grilled onions. Also pretty good. My beverage was the Mimosa "flight" (1 mango, 1 strawberry, 1 pineapple). This was delicious. Great service and the staff was attentive. our breakfast was pretty good too. We like to eat outside whenever possible and we had asked to be seated outside this morning as well. We joke about restaurant seating, and about how long they want you to stay based on the quality of the chairs. If they start causing you to get shifty or uncomfortable in five minutes they are five-minute chairs and want you out fast. Our chairs were not great, maybe 10-minute chairs lol. Our table was very wobbly and one in our party tried to fix it but we could not find enough stuff to use as shims to get it to stop rocking. That meant if one person leaned in or tried to cut something everyone on the other side was pushed up or dropped down. Last, the outdoor seating is not particularly attractive and it's noisy from cars and motorcycles. Really the food is good but eat inside. read more

Easily the best part of the experience was the service, however. Our server Laci was fantastic, quick, and attentive. The breakfast meat costs $4.95, I actually saved the restaurant money by subbing the eggs instead. A gem! If you love sweet and salty, their waffle sandwich (on the lunch side) cannot be missed! It comes on 2 crunchy-on-the-outside-soft-inside waffles, a fried egg, cheese, and typically pulled pork. I swapped the pulled pork for bacon (or you can upgrade to fried chicken which my friend did, and it's a HUGE piece). Incredible. I also swapped their fries for the hashbrown squares. Even though I'm not much of a crinkle fry fan, I can confirm their crinkle fries are better than the hashbrown squares. Super crispy and delicious. Their freshly squeezed orange juice is to die for. Which then makes their mimosas to die for! Not to mention, our service was excellent! Don't forget to check their website for the waitlist to save yourself some wait time.
