The service is really good. Seated promptly, waters come out promptly, minor order modifications handled easily. We have really enjoyed the variety of food. My husband loves the salads and the bowls and pizzas are also good. Probably the favorite entree we have had is the fish and chips. We find the drinks particularly reasonably priced and the cocktails are good. We really like the blueberry one. The space is sunny and open. We have been trying to go to Kitchen Social for a while. Not knowing the hours, we've always shown up too early in the week for lunch. They are only open after 3:00 on Mondays - Wednesdays. On Thursdays (and Fridays/Saturdays) they open at 11:00. We all arrived separately, but nearly together a bit before 11:00. Even though it was chilly, we decided to wait outside until the doors opened. Someone came to the door and welcomed us in early, which was very much appreciated. Our server was fantastic. We asked for recommendations and we followed them to a tee! Her help was appreciated because the menu has a lot of options. Two of us ordered the MEDITERRANEAN SALMON - Sixty South salmon, shaved vegetables, dukkah, feta, herb tahini, traditional hummus, lemon vinaigrette. It was delicious and it was a lot of food. The hummus was an interesting addition to the meal. It was great. Mark had the BLACKENED CHICKEN Sandwich - Avocado puree, chipotle crema, heirloom tomato, multi-grain toast with a side salad. He very much enjoyed his sandwich. We were a bit full, but opted to share a dessert. The Banana Caramel Cake w/ cinnamon cream and cinnamon crunch was fantastic and perfect to share. I'll admit I could eat the whole dessert, but I'm glad we shared. I'm so happy we finally made it to Kitchen Social. Oh.. we were the first customers at 11:00. By the time we left every table was full. We didn't expect to need reservations given we were there when the doors opened, but I recommend making reservations nonetheless. Found this hidden gem recently when traveling through Montgomery. Beautiful restaurant, although oddly setup with entrance and exit. Didn't like coming into the restaurant from the parking garage and having my first impression be walking past the restrooms. Nonetheless, service was fair for a Friday early evening (4pm). Wasn't happy that we had to sit in the bar area to obtain happy hour prices (to say there is limited seating and makes one's stay longer is an understatement).
