We called 101 Gopher and Pest Control at the recommendation of our neighbor. We had a huge problem in our yard with gophers, moles and ground squirrels and we tried to handle it on our own. We failed. Mark and Vincent who are very personable and kind have been working hard on this problem. We have our yard back. The grass is beautiful. They came out the very next day and they charged me $225.00 to place bait in the holes. He told me he would come back if I had a problem and never did. I was told me I had a 30 day guarantee....... Very unprofessional. Not only was I "guaranteed" by Mark Morales (the owner) that he could resolve my gopher/mile problems, after a lot of back and forth he said he would issue a refund and NEVER did. To top things off, he blocked my number in order to not receive text messages or phone calls. Mark was easy to talk to when he wanted my money. Once he got paid he was hard to reach. His "guarantee" is for 30 days but according to him it starts on initial visit despite the treatment not working until the second treatment 2 week later. And then I have to wait 1 week for that treatment to work. In reality he offers 1 week guarantee. I was charged extra for gopher service which included my front yard, that was never done. And the proof is in the service receipts his worker left in my mailbox. He scams people for over $200 and tells you that if any gophers or moles cause issues during the 30 day time frame it was not his problem. The fact that he blocked me after saying he'd mail me a full refund speaks a lot about the kind of business he runs. I have hired another company to address my issues with gophers and moles and when I told him my story he said he was sure he knew who I was talking about. He said "is his name Mark? Mark has been keeping my property gopher free for approximately 10 years, and I've always been pleased with his service. He always calls me the day before his monthly visit so that I can unlock the gates for him. He's very professional and conscientious about keeping his clients happy. Hard to contact, friendly when you do. Larry comes to house, very friendly. However, 'treatment' didn't kill gophers. After finally getting someone on the phone, Larry came again, treated a second time (under warranty), DIDN"T KILL GOPHERS. Gophers are running wild throughout my yard, I can't get anyone on the phone, and now my warrant has expired.
