Potential lifesavers... literally!! Outstanding workmanship and "above and beyond" customer service. Recently purchased a home in Oxnard and hired 101 Lint Busters to replace old clogged flexible dryer vent exhausting into crawl space with new rigid vent line exhausting properly to the exterior. While performing that work they discovered a serious electrical issue unrelated to the dryer and were kind enough to help me diagnose the source so I could deal with it. They also discovered that years of lint had built up inside the dryer and offered to stay on to clean that out for a reasonable additional fee. Found signs of burned lint - previous owners were fortunate there wasn't a serious fire! Highly recommend 101 Lint Busters! Hire them if you have any concerns at all or just need routine maintenance. read more

Total waste of $300. Save your money as they will attempt an upcharge after already overcharging for a minimal service. Updated as of 9/4/25: After hearing back from the vendor, I'm modifying my review, but not by much. This same conclusion could have been determined by a quick inspection, before going through a worthless "cleaning: for $300 only to learn it could cost thousands to repair. This is no reflection on the owners or the people who were at my home. I simply DO NOT like paying for things and receiving nothing in return. I booked an appointment with 101 Lint Busters after finding them on Yelp in searching for someone to take a look at our dryer vent, which hadn't been cleaned or maintained in at least a decade (probably more). Eric and his helper arrived promptly at the start of the two hour window they had given me. Immediately upon looking at our hose situation, he let me know the hose had some issues itself (crushed in parts and unnecessary hose length coiled around in other parts, and the hose was old and fragile all around). He walked me through options on how to move forward ranging from doing what I had booked them to do (clean the existing hose and call it a day), be handy ourselves and replace the hose with a new one, or they could replace it for us. We chose the latter option, as dryer hoses are not our specialty. They were able to get us set up with a replacement within the two hour window they were booked to be at our place, and they did an awesome job. The new hose/pipe is sturdy, clean, and set up much more efficiently than the old one. Pricing was fair for the labor done. Eric even installed a CO2/smoke detector over the dryer for us. I'd recommend Eric and his crew to anyone needing work on their dryer vents, and I will be calling them back up when we are due for a cleaning. read more

Eric answered my phone call before 8am on a Wednesday. Immediately, I knew that Eric knew exactly what he was talking about and shared my situation. I attempted to replace my dryer vent myself, and ran into major challenges. My wife was on me and really needed the dryer fixed asap. Eric was able to send Sam out the same day in the early afternoon. Sam immediately reviewed what I did and finished off the project. Stay far away from this company. I advised the owner I originally spoke to that my dryer vent was long (extra $$!) and that I had a (booster) fan within the vent. I was quoted a price over the phone based on that info and scheduled an appt. Upon arrival, the employee said he didn't know how to deal with the fan, called the owner, who told me the fan would be an add'l $175, bringing the total for dryer vent cleaning to over $400! I advised him this felt like a bait and switch and refused the service. He charged me a $50 service call. I had a different service come out today (Brian at HVDC, Inc). Price was as quoted and less expensive than 101 Lint Buster! Responding to owner's (less than gracious response)...as to your "experience"...your employee (who was a nice guy) did not know how to deal with the booster fan, which is why he called you once he was here. Additionally, in my initial call to you, I volunteered the information that I had a fan in the vent, you did not ask me. At that time, you could have asked a very simple question, "Do you hear a fan when the dryer stops running?" that would have confirmed my VOLUNTEERED information. Nor did you advise me at that time how much additional you would charge ($175!!) because of the fan. Bad form! I paid $50 for NO service from you...you confirmed with your employee he had initiated no service. I stand by my bait and switch comment. read more

I made an appointment online to have my dryer vents brushed out. I live in a condo with a poor design for dryer venting. The vent runs up the wall and out the ceiling and is an eye sore. The HOA required Carol to clean her dryer vent. This was more than a handyman task because the vent ran a good 20 feet under her condo. Worth every penny! I spent hundreds of dollars on a new drier and I've hated using it because it took 2 hours to dry a single towel. Not anymore! Eric's 101 Lint Busters did just that...they busted out the lint in my super-long vent system and now the drier runs like it's supposed to. Eric at 101 Lint Busters is a very professional business owner. I called him and he was able to come to my house the next day to clean my dryer duct. While he was doing it, he explained the process and showed me everything that came out of it which of course is what caused my dryer to not work efficiently. He also took a picture of the inside of my dryer and suggested that he could give that a thorough cleanout as well and that if anything was to go wrong, he was fully responsible so I told him to go for it.
